Thánh Thi 82

1 (Thơ của A-sáp) Đức Chúa Trời chủ trì trong hội đồng của Ngài; Ngài tuyên phán trên thiên đàng:

A psalm of Asaph God [is] taking his stand in [the] congregation of God in [the] midst of [the] gods he gives judgment.

2 “Các ngươi phân xử bất công và thiên vị người gian tà mãi đến bao giờ?

Until when? will you judge injustice and [the] face of wicked [people] will you lift up (Selah)

3 Hãy xử công minh cho những người cô thế và trẻ mồ côi; bảo vệ quyền lợi người bị áp bức và tuyệt vọng.

Give judgment for [the] poor and [the] fatherless [the] afflicted and [the] poor vindicate.

4 Giải cứu người nghèo khổ và khốn cùng; đưa họ ra khỏi tay người ác.

Deliver [the] poor and [the] needy from [the] hand of wicked [people] rescue [them].

5 Nhưng bọn áp bức không biết gì, cũng chẳng hiểu gì! Chúng cứ mò mẫm trong bóng tối, tất cả nền móng trên đất đều rúng động.

Not they know - and not they understand in darkness they walk about they are shaken all [the] foundations of [the] earth.

6 Ta xác nhận: ‘Các ngươi là thần; Tất cả đều là con trai của Đấng Chí Cao.’

I I said [are] gods you and [are] [the] children of [the] Most High all of you.

7 Nhưng các ngươi sẽ chết như người phàm, và ngã xuống như những người cầm quyền khác.”

Nevertheless like humankind you will die! and like one of the princes you will fall.

8 Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin vùng dậy xét xử thế gian, vì tất cả các dân tộc đều thuộc về Chúa.

Arise! O God judge! the earth for you you have an inheritance among all the nations.
