Thánh Thi 46
1 (Thơ của con cháu Cô-ra, theo điệu A-la-mo, soạn cho nhạc trưởng) Chúa là nơi ẩn náu, và năng lực tôi, Ngài sẵn sàng phù hộ lúc gian nan.
To him that excelleth upon Alamoth a song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God is our hope and strength, and helpe in troubles, ready to be found.
2 Vì thế, tôi sẽ chẳng sợ hãi, lo âu, cho dù đất sụt, núi chìm vào lòng biển,
Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea.
3 Dù biển gầm và sôi bọt, làm núi lay động vì nước dâng lên.
Though the waters thereof rage and be troubled, and the mountaines shake at the surges of the same. (Selah)
4 Có một dòng sông mang vui vẻ cho thành của Đức Chúa Trời, là nơi thánh của Đấng Chí Cao.
Yet there is a Riuer, whose streames shall make glad the citie of God: euen the Sanctuarie of the Tabernacles of the most High.
5 Đức Chúa Trời ngự giữa thành ấy; không thể bị hủy diệt. Vì từ rạng đông, Đức Chúa Trời sẽ bảo vệ.
God is in the middes of it: therefore shall it not be moued: God shall helpe it very earely.
6 Các dân tộc náo loạn, các vương quốc suy vi! Đức Chúa Trời lên tiếng, và đất tan chảy ra!
When the nations raged, and the kingdomes were moued, God thundred, and the earth melted.
7 Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân ở với chúng ta, Đức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp là thành lũy kiên cố.
The Lord of hostes is with vs: the God of Iaakob is our refuge. (Selah)
8 Hãy đến, ngắm nhìn công tác Chúa Hằng Hữu: Mặt đất tan nát vì tay Chúa đoán phạt.
Come, and behold the workes of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 Chúa chấm dứt chiến tranh khắp hoàn vũ, Ngài bẻ cung, đập tan gươm giáo, Chúa đốt rụi các chiến xa.
He maketh warres to cease vnto the endes of the world: he breaketh the bowe and cutteth the speare, and burneth the chariots with fire.
10 “Hãy yên lặng, và nhìn biết Ta là Đức Chúa Trời! Ta sẽ được tôn vinh giữa các dân. Ta sẽ được tôn cao trên đất.”
Be still and knowe that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, and I wil be exalted in the earth.
11 Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân ở với chúng ta; Đức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp là tường thành kiên cố.
