Thánh Thi 45
1 (Giáo huấn ca của con cháu Cô-ra, theo điệu “Hoa huệ”) Tâm hồn ta xúc động với lời hay ý đẹp, cảm tác bài thơ ca tụng đức vua, lưỡi tôi thanh thoát như ngọn bút của một văn tài.
“To the chief musician upon Shoshannim, by the sons of Korach, a Maskil, a song of love.” My heart swelleth with a good speech; I say, “My works shall be for the king:” my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
2 Vua là người cao quý nhất, môi miệng đầy ân huệ đượm nhuần; Đức Chúa Trời ban phước cho người mãi mãi.
Thou art more fair than the children of men; grace is poured out over thy lips: therefore hath God blessed thee for ever.
3 Ôi đấng anh hùng! Xin đeo gươm báu, mặc uy nghiêm, vinh quang rạng ngời.
Gird thy sword upon the thigh, O mighty one, [it is] thy glory and thy majesty;
4 Trong uy nghi chiến thắng, cưỡi xe lướt tới, vì chân lý, khiêm nhường, và thánh thiện, tay phải vua thực hiện những công tác phi thường.
Yea, it is thy majesty: be prosperous, ride along for the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness; and fearful things shall thy right hand teach thee.
5 Mũi tên vua nhọn bén, hãy xuyên vào tim các vua quân nghịch, các dân tộc nghịch thù hãy ngã rạp dưới chân.
Thy sharpened arrows—people will fall down beneath thee—[will enter] into the heart of the king's enemies.
6 Lạy Chúa, ngôi nước vua bền vững đời đời, công chính là quyền trượng nước vua.
Thy throne, given of God, endureth for ever and ever: the sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
7 Vua yêu chuộng công bằng, ghét gian ác. Vì thế Đức Chúa Trời, là Đức Chúa Trời của vua đã cất nhắc vua, xức dầu hân hoan cho vua nhiều hơn các vua khác.
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore hath God, thy God, anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy associates.
8 Áo vua ngào ngạt một dược, lô hội, và nhục quế. Từ cung điện ngà ngọc, đàn dây chúc tụng vua.
Of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia are [fragrant] all thy garments: out of palaces of ivory have they made thee joyful with the sound of music.
9 Các công chúa đứng trong hàng tôn quý. Hoàng hậu đứng bên phải vua, trang sức bằng vàng từ vùng Ô-phia!
Kings' daughters are among those dear to thee: the queen standeth on thy right hand in fine gold of Ophir.
10 Hỡi quý nương, hãy nghe lời thỉnh giáo. Hãy quên đi dân tộc, và nhà cha nàng.
Hearken, O daughter, and look, and incline thy ear, and forget thy own people, and thy father's house:
11 Vua ái mộ nhan sắc nàng; hãy tôn kính người, vì là chúa của nàng.
Then will the king long for thy beauty; for he is thy Lord; and bow thyself to him.
12 Quý nương Ty-rơ sẽ cung hiến lễ vật cho con. Người quyền quý sẽ đến cầu cạnh ân huệ nơi con.
And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift: the rich among the people shall entreat thy favor.
13 Công nương vinh hạnh tuyệt vời trong cung điện, vương bào nàng có dệt sợi vàng.
All gloriously attired awaiteth the king's daughter in the inner chamber: of wrought gold is her garment.
14 Trong y phục gấm vóc triều kiến vua, theo sau có các trinh nữ cùng ra mắt vua.
In embroidered clothes will she be brought unto the king: virgins that follow her, her companions, are brought unto thee.
15 Đoàn mỹ nữ vào cung điện hân hoan và khoái lạc!
They are led forth with rejoicings and gladness, they enter into the palace of the king.
16 Các hoàng nam thay thế các tổ phụ. Được phong vương cai trị khắp đất nước.
Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children: thou wilt appoint them as princes in all the land.
17 Tôi sẽ làm cho hậu thế ghi nhớ danh tiếng vua. Nên các dân tộc sẽ chúc tụng vua mãi mãi.
I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
