Thánh Thi 146
1 Ngợi tôn Chúa Hằng Hữu! Linh hồn con ca tụng Chúa Hằng Hữu.
Praise Yahweh! With my whole inner being I will praise Yahweh.
2 Con sẽ ca tụng Chúa trọn đời con, Còn sống bao lâu con sẽ tôn vinh Đức Chúa Trời bấy lâu.
I will praise Yahweh as long as I am alive; I will sing to praise my God for [the rest of] my life.
3 Đừng tin tưởng vua chúa hay con loài người, vì họ không thể cứu rỗi ai.
[You people], do not trust in your leaders; do not trust humans because they cannot save/rescue you [from your difficulties/problems].
4 Hơi thở dứt, họ trở về cát bụi, chính ngày ấy, những kế hoạch của họ tiêu tan.
And when they die, their corpses [decay and] become soil again. After they die, they can no longer do the things that they planned to do.
5 Phước cho người có Đức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp giúp đỡ, đặt hy vọng nơi Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời mình.
But those whose helper is the God whom Jacob [worshiped] are happy. The one whom they confidently expect [to help them] is Yahweh, their God.
6 Chúa sáng tạo trời và đất, biển, và mọi vật trong biển, Ngài thành tín muôn đời.
He is the one who created heaven and the earth and the oceans and all [the creatures] that are in them. He always does what he has promised to do.
7 Chúa minh oan người bị áp bức, Ngài ban lương thực cho người đói khổ. Chúa Hằng Hữu giải thoát người bị giam cầm.
He decides matters fairly for those who are (treated unfairly/oppressed), and he provides food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are in prison.
8 Chúa Hằng Hữu mở mắt người mù. Chúa Hằng Hữu làm thẳng người cong khom. Chúa Hằng Hữu yêu thương người công chính.
Yahweh enables those who are blind to see again. He lifts up those who have fallen down. He loves righteous [people].
9 Chúa Hằng Hữu bảo vệ khách lạ. Ngài cứu trợ người mồ côi và góa bụa, nhưng lật đổ đường lối người ác.
Yahweh takes care of those from other countries who live in our land, and he helps widows and orphans. But he gets rid of wicked [people].
10 Chúa Hằng Hữu cai trị vĩnh viễn, Ngài sẽ là Đức Chúa Trời ngươi, Si-ôn hỡi, là Đấng cầm quyền muôn đời. Ngợi tôn Chúa Hằng Hữu!
Yahweh will [continue to] be our king forever; you people of Israel, your God will rule forever! Praise Yahweh!
