Thánh Thi 132
1 (Bài ca lên Đền Thờ) Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, xin nhớ đến Đa-vít cùng mọi nỗi khốn khổ người chịu.
A song of degrees. Lord, remember Dauid with all his affliction.
2 Người đã thề với Chúa Hằng Hữu. Người đã khấn với Chúa Toàn Năng của Gia-cốp:
Who sware vnto the Lord, and vowed vnto the mightie God of Iaakob, saying,
3 “Con sẽ chẳng vào nhà; cũng chẳng lên giường nằm.
I will not enter into the tabernacle of mine house, nor come vpon my pallet or bed,
4 Không để cho mắt ngủ, mí mắt không khép lại
Nor suffer mine eyes to sleepe, nor mine eye lids to slumber,
5 cho đến khi tìm được chỗ cho Chúa Hằng Hữu ngự, một nơi thánh cho Chúa Toàn Năng của Gia-cốp.”
Vntill I finde out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mightie God of Iaakob.
6 Chúng con nghe Hòm Giao Ước ở Ép-ra-ta, và tìm được tại cánh đồng Gia-a.
Lo, we heard of it in Ephrathah, and found it in the fieldes of the forest.
7 Chúng con sẽ vào nơi Chúa Hằng Hữu ngự; quỳ lạy dưới bệ chân Ngài.
We will enter into his Tabernacles, and worship before his footestoole.
8 Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu! Xin vào nơi an nghỉ Ngài, cùng với Hòm Giao Ước, biểu hiệu quyền năng của Ngài.
Arise, O Lord, to come into thy rest, thou, and the Arke of thy strength.
9 Nguyện các thầy tế lễ được khoác áo công chính; nguyện dân thánh Chúa reo vui.
Let thy Priests be clothed with righteousnesse, and let thy Saints reioyce.
10 Vì Đa-vít, đầy tớ Chúa, xin đừng từ chối người chịu xức dầu của Ngài.
For thy seruant Dauids sake refuse not the face of thine Anointed.
11 Chúa Hằng Hữu đã thề với Đa-vít, hẳn Ngài sẽ không đổi lời: “Ta sẽ đặt dòng dõi con lên ngôi kế vị.
The Lord hath sworne in trueth vnto Dauid, and he wil not shrinke from it, saying, Of the fruite of thy body will I set vpon thy throne.
12 Nếu con cháu con vâng giữ giao ước Ta và luật pháp Ta truyền dạy, thì dòng dõi con sẽ ngồi trên ngôi vua mãi mãi.”
If thy sonnes keepe my couenant, and my testimonies, that I shall teach them, their sonnes also shall sit vpon thy throne for euer.
13 Vì Chúa Hằng Hữu đã chọn Si-ôn; Ngài muốn đó là nơi Ngài ngự.
For the Lord hath chosen Zion, and loued to dwell in it, saying,
14 Chúa phán: “Đây vĩnh viễn sẽ là nhà Ta, Ta ở đây, vì Ta ưa thích.
This is my rest for euer: here will I dwell, for I haue a delite therein.
15 Ta cho Si-ôn dồi dào thực phẩm; Ta sẽ cho người nghèo ăn bánh no nê.
I will surely blesse her vitailes, and will satisfie her poore with bread,
16 Ta sẽ cho thầy tế lễ mặc áo cứu rỗi; những đầy tớ tin kính của nó sẽ cất tiếng reo vui.
And will clothe her Priests with saluation, and her Saints shall shoute for ioye.
17 Ta sẽ cho sừng Đa-vít vươn lên mạnh; Ta sửa soạn đèn cho Đấng được xức dầu;
There will I make the horne of Dauid to bud: for I haue ordeined a light for mine Anoynted.
18 Ta sẽ cho kẻ thù người áo xống bị nhơ nhuốc, còn người thì được đội vương miện vinh quang.”
His enemies will I clothe with shame, but on him his crowne shall florish.
