Thánh Thi 130

1 (Bài ca lên Đền Thờ) Từ vực thẳm, lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, con kêu van cứu giúp.

“A song of the degrees.” Out of the depths have I called thee, O Lord.

2 Xin lắng tai nghe, lạy Chúa. Xin lưu ý lời con nguyện cầu.

Lord, listen to my voice: let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, nếu Ngài ghi nhớ tội ác chúng con, ai có thể đứng nổi trước mặt Ngài?

If thou, Lord, shouldst treasure up iniquities, O Lord, who would be able to stand?

4 Nhưng Chúa có lòng thứ tha, nên Ngài đáng kính sợ.

But with thee there is forgiveness, in order that thou mayest be feared.

5 Con mong đợi Chúa Hằng Hữu; linh hồn con ngóng trông Ngài. Con hy vọng nơi lời hứa Ngài.

I hope for the Lord, my soul doth hope, and for his word do I wait.

6 Linh hồn con trông mong Chúa hơn người gác đêm chờ đợi bình minh.

My soul [waiteth] for the Lord, more than they that watch for the morning expect the morning.

7 Hỡi Ít-ra-ên, hãy hy vọng nơi Chúa Hằng Hữu; vì Ngài có lòng nhân từ. Ban ân cứu chuộc dồi dào.

Let Israel wait for the Lord; for with the Lord there is kindness, and with him is redemption in abundance;

8 Ngài sẽ cứu chuộc Ít-ra-ên, khỏi mọi tội lỗi.

And he wilt surely redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
