1 Thầy thượng tế Ê-li-a-síp cùng các thầy tế lễ khác đứng lên cất lại Cổng Chiên, rồi hiến dâng lên Đức Chúa Trời. Họ cũng làm lại cánh cổng, và xây lại vách thành từ Tháp Mê-a cho đến Tháp Ha-na-nên.
Then arose Eliashib the hie Priest with his brethren the Priestes, and they buylt the sheepegate: they repayred it, and set vp the doores thereof: euen vnto the tower of Meah repayred they it, and vnto the tower of Hananeel.
2 Bên cạnh nhóm Giê-ri-cô có nhóm Xác-cua, con Im-ri, sát cánh cùng nhau xây cất.
And next vnto him buylded the men of Iericho, and beside him Zaccur the sonne of Imri.
3 Con cháu Hát-sê-na lo xây Cổng Cá. Họ đặt khung, tra cánh, đóng chốt, cài then cổng.
But the fish port did the sonnes of Senaah buylde, which also layde the beames thereof, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
4 Bên cạnh họ có nhóm Mê-rê-mốt, con U-ri, cháu Ha-cốt, lo việc sửa sang thành, kế đến có nhóm Mê-su-lam, con Bê-rê-kia, cháu Mê-sê-xa-bên, nhóm Xa-đốc, con Ba-a-na, cũng lo sửa sang thành.
And next vnto them fortified Merimoth, the sonne of Vrijah, the sonne of Hakkoz: and next vnto them fortified Meshullam, the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Meshezabeel: and next vnto them fortified Zadok, the sonne of Baana:
5 Bên cạnh họ, người Thê-cô-a lo tu bổ, nhưng giới quý tộc không chịu tham gia công việc của người lãnh đạo.
And next vnto them fortified the Tekoites: but the great men of them put not their neckes to the worke of their lordes.
6 Giô-gia-đa, con Pha-sê-a, và Mê-su-lam, con Bê-si-đia, lo sửa sang Cổng Cũ. Họ đặt khung, tra cánh, đóng chốt, gài then cổng.
And the gate of the olde fishpoole fortified Iehoiada the sonne of Paseah, and Meshullam the sonne of Besodaiah: they laid the beames thereof, and set on the doores thereof, and the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
7 Bên cạnh họ có Mê-la-tia, người Ga-ba-ôn, Gia-đôn, người Mê-rô-nốt, cùng những người ở Ga-ba-ôn và Mích-pa, dân trong tỉnh phía tây Sông Ơ-phơ-rát, lo việc sửa sang thành.
Next vnto them also fortified Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Iadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, vnto the throne of the Duke, which was beyond the Riuer.
8 Kế đến, có U-xi-ên, thợ vàng, con Hạt-ha-gia, và Ha-na-nia, người chế hương phẩm, lo việc sửa sang. Họ cùng nhau tu bổ tường thành Giê-ru-sa-lem cho đến vách Rộng.
Next vnto him fortified Vzziel the sonne of Harhohiah of the golde smithes: next vnto him also fortified Hananiah, the sonne of Harakkahim, and they repayred Ierusalem vnto the broad wall.
9 Kế đến, có Rê-pha-gia, con Hu-rơ cai trị phân nửa thành Giê-ru-sa-lem, lo việc sửa sang thành.
Also next vnto them fortified Rephaiah, the sonne of Hur, the ruler of the halfe part of Ierusalem.
10 Rồi đến Giê-đa-gia, con Ha-ru-máp tu bổ phần tường thành đối diện nhà mình, và Hát-túc, con Ha-sáp-nia, lo sửa sang thành.
And next vnto him fortified Iedaiah the sonne of Harumaph, euen ouer against his house: and next vnto him fortified Hattush, the sonne of Hashabniah.
11 Manh-ki-gia, con Ha-rim, và Ha-súp, con Pha-hát Mô-áp, tu bổ phần tường thành kế tiếp và Tháp Lò.
Malchiiah the sonne of Harim, and Hashub the sonne of Pahath Moab fortified the seconde porcion, and the tower of the fornaces.
12 Kế họ có Sa-lum, con Ha-lô-hết, và các con gái ông lo việc sửa sang thành. Ông là người cai trị phân nửa kia của thành Giê-ru-sa-lem.
Next vnto him also fortified Shallum, the sonne of Halloesh, the ruler of the halfe part of Ierusalem, he, and his daughters.
13 Ha-nun và những người ở Xa-nô-a sửa sang Cổng Thung Lũng, tra cánh, đóng chốt, cài then, và tu bổ một đoạn tường thành dài 450 mét cho đến tận Cổng Phân.
The valley gate fortified Hanum, and the inhabitants of Zanuah: they buylt it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof, euen a thousand cubites on the wall vnto the dung porte.
14 Manh-ki-gia, con Rê-cáp, quận trưởng quận Bết Hát-kê-rem, sửa sang Cổng Phân, tra cánh, đóng chốt và cài then cổng này.

15 Sa-lum con Côn-hô-xe, quận trưởng quận Mích-pa, sửa sang Cổng Suối, lợp mái, tra cánh, đóng chốt, cài then, và xây tường thành từ ao Si-lô-ê trong vườn vua cho đến chân thang từ Thành Đa-vít xuống.
But the gate of the fountaine fortified Shallun, the sonne of Col-hozeh, the ruler of the fourth part of Mizpah: he builded it, and couered it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof, and the wall vnto the fishpoole of Shelah by the Kings garden, and vnto the steppes that goe downe from the citie of Dauid.
16 Bên ông, có Nê-hê-mi, con A-búc, quận trưởng phân nửa quận Bết-sua, tu bổ tường thành cho đến lăng Vua Đa-vít, hồ chứa nước và cả đến dinh tướng lãnh.
After him fortified Nehemiah the sonne of Azbuk, the ruler of ye halfe part of Beth-zur, vntill the otherside ouer against the sepulchres of Dauid, and to the fishpoole that was repaired, and vnto the house of the mightie.
17 Cùng với Nê-hê-mi có những người Lê-vi lo sửa sang tường thành dưới sự hướng dẫn của Rê-hum, con Ba-ni. Bên họ có Ha-sa-bia, quận trưởng phân nửa quận Kê-i-la, sửa sang tường thành thuộc quận mình.
After him fortified the Leuites, Rehum the sonne of Bani, and next vnto him fortified Hashabiah the ruler of the halfe part of Keilah in his quarter.
18 Bên Ha-sa-ba có anh em ông, đứng đầu là Ba-vai, con Hê-na-đát, quận trưởng phân nửa quận Kê-i-la còn lại.

19 Phần tường thành đối diện dốc đi lên kho khí giới, nơi thành uốn quanh, được Ê-xe, con Giê-sua, quận trưởng quận Mích-pa, sửa chữa.
And next vnto him fortified Ezer, the sonne of Ieshua the ruler of Mizpah, the other portion ouer against the going vp to the corner of the armour.
20 Từ khúc thành uốn quanh cho đến cổng nhà thầy thượng tế Ê-li-a-síp được Ba-rúc, con Xáp-bai sửa chữa.
After him was earnest Baruch the sonne of Zacchai, and fortified another portion from the corner vnto the doore of the house of Eliashib the hie Priest.
21 Tường thành từ cổng nhà Ê-li-a-síp cho đến cuối nhà thầy tế lễ được Mê-rê-mốt, con U-ri, cháu Ha-cốt, sửa chữa.

23 Kế đó, Bên-gia-min và Ha-súp sửa phần tường thành ngang nhà họ; A-xa-ria, con Ma-a-xê-gia, cháu A-na-nia, sửa phần tường thành bên hông nhà mình.
After them fortified Beniamin, and Hasshub ouer against their house: after him fortified Azariah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ananiah, by his house.
24 Bin-nui, con Hê-na-đát sửa phần từ nhà A-xa-ria cho đến nơi thành uốn khúc.

25 Pha-lanh, con U-xai, sửa từ nơi thành uốn khúc đến cung trên của vua, cung có tháp cao nhô lên, ngang sân của thị vệ. Kế đến có Phê-đa-gia, con Pha-rốt, và
Palal, the sonne of Vzai, from ouer against the corner, and the high tower, that lieth out from the Kings house, which is beside the court of the prison. After him, Pedaiah, the sonne of Parosh.
26 những người phục dịch Đền Thờ, những người này sống ở Ô-phên, sửa sang phần tường thành cho đến đoạn đối diện Cổng Nước phía đông và tháp cao nhô lên.
And the Nethinims they dwelt in ye fortresse vnto the place ouer against the water gate, Eastwarde, and to the tower that lyeth out.
27 Người Thê-cô-a sửa phần tường thành từ tháp cao nhô lên cho đến Ô-phên.
After him fortified the Tekoites another portion ouer against the great tower, that lyeth out, euen vnto the wall of the fortresse.
28 Các thầy tế lễ phụ trách sửa sang phần tường thành phía trên Cổng Ngựa, mỗi vị sửa phần ngang nhà mình.
From aboue the horsegate forth fortified the Priests, euery one ouer against his house.
29 Kế họ có Xa-đốc, con Y-mê, sửa phần tường thành ngang nhà mình. Cạnh Xa-đốc có Sê-ma-gia, con Sê-ca-nia, người giữ Cổng Đông, lo sửa chữa.
After them fortified Zadok the sonne of Immer ouer against his house: and after him fortified Shemaiah, the sonne of Shechadiah the keeper of the East gate.
30 Cạnh Sê-ma-gia có Ha-na-nia, con Sê-lê-mia và Ha-nun, con thứ sáu của Xa-láp, sửa phần kế tiếp. Rồi đến Mê-su-lam, con Bê-rê-kia, sửa phần ngang nhà mình.
After him fortified Hananiah, the sonne of Shelemiah, and Hanun, the sonne of Zalaph, the sixt, another portion after him fortified Meshullam, the sonne of Berechiah, ouer against his chamber.
31 Cạnh Mê-su-lam có Manh-ki-gia, một người thợ vàng, sửa phần tường thành cho đến nhà của những người phục dịch Đền Thờ và của các thương gia, đối diện Cổng Míp-cát, và cho đến góc thành trên dốc cao.
After him fortified Malchiah the goldesmiths sonne, vntil the house of the Nethinims, and of ye marchants ouer against the gate Miphkad, and to the chamber in the corner.
32 Các người thợ vàng khác cùng với các thương gia sửa sang phần tường thành còn lại, từ góc thành trên dốc cao cho đến Cổng Chiên.
And betweene the chamber of the corner vnto the sheepegate fortified the goldesmithes and the marchantes.
