Nê-hê-mi-a 13
1 Vào hôm ấy, Sách Luật Môi-se được đem đọc cho mọi người nghe, trong đó có đoạn cấm người Am-môn và Mô-áp vào đền thờ của Đức Chúa Trời.
On the day that it was read aloud in [the] scroll of Moses in [the] ears of the people and it was found written in it that not he will come an Ammonite and a Moabite in [the] assembly of God until perpetuity.
2 Lý do vì họ đã không mang bánh nước ra tiếp đón người Ít-ra-ên trong hoang mạc mà lại còn mướn Ba-la-am dùng lời nguyền rủa, nhưng Đức Chúa Trời đổi lời nguyền rủa thành lời chúc phước người Ít-ra-ên.
For not they had met [the] people of Israel with food and with water and he had hired on it Balaam to curse it and he turned God our the curse into blessing.
3 Nghe đến quy luật này người Ít-ra-ên lập tức trục xuất tất cả những người ngoại tộc kia.
And it was when heard they the law and they separated every person of mixed ancestry from Israel.
4 Trước đó, Thầy Tế lễ Ê-li-a-síp, người có trách nhiệm trông coi kho tàng Đền Thờ Đức Chúa Trời, liên lạc với Tô-bia,
And before from this Eliashib the priest [was] appointed over [the] store-room of [the] house of God our [one] near to Tobiah.
5 và thầy tế lễ dành cho Tô-bia một phòng rộng. Phòng này trước kia chứa lễ vật chay, trầm hương, bình lọ, cùng những phần đóng góp cho người Lê-vi, ca sĩ, người gác cổng—khoảng phần mười lúa mì, rượu—và những lễ vật dâng lên dành cho các thầy tế lễ.
And he made for him a room large and there people were before putting the grain offering the frankincense and the utensils and [the] tithe of the grain the new wine and the fresh oil [the] commandment of the Levites and the singers and the gatekeepers and [the] contribution of the priests.
6 Lúc việc này xảy ra, tôi không có mặt ở Giê-ru-sa-lem, vì vào năm thứ ba mươi hai đời Ạt-ta-xét-xe, tôi phải về Ba-by-lôn bệ kiến vua, và sau đó lại được vua cho phép rời Ba-by-lôn.
And in all this not I was in Jerusalem for in year thirty and two of Artaxerxes [the] king of Babylon I had gone to the king and to [the] end of days I requested leave of absence from the king.
7 Trở về Giê-ru-sa-lem tôi mới hay điều xấu xa Ê-li-a-síp làm, dọn cho Tô-bia một phòng ngủ ngay trong khuôn viên Đền Thờ Đức Chúa Trời.
And I came to Jerusalem and I perceived! the evil thing which he had done Eliashib for Tobiah by making for him a room in [the] courtyards of [the] house of God.
8 Tôi nổi giận, ném tất cả đồ đạc của Tô-bia ra khỏi phòng.
And it was displeasing to me exceedingly and I threw! all [the] articles of [the] household of Tobiah the outside from the room.
9 Tôi ra lệnh lau chùi phòng sạch sẽ, rồi tự tay đem đặt lại vào phòng các vật dụng của Đền Thờ Đức Chúa Trời, cùng lễ vật chay, và trầm hương.
And I said! and people purified the store-rooms and I brought back! there [the] utensils of [the] house of God the grain offering and the frankincense.
10 Tôi còn được biết người Lê-vi không nhận được phần lương thực đáng được cấp theo luật định, vì thế họ và các ca sĩ bỏ chức vụ về nhà làm ruộng.
And I perceived! that [the] portions of the Levites not it had been given and they had fled each one to own field his the Levites and the singers [who] did the work.
11 Tôi trách cứ các nhà lãnh đạo: “Tại sao để cho Đền Thờ Đức Chúa Trời bị bỏ bê như vậy?” Rồi, tôi gọi người Lê-vi trở lại chức vụ.
And I contended! with the officials and I said! why? has it been neglected [the] house of God and I assembled them and I made stand them at place their.
12 Và toàn dân Giu-đa tiếp tục đem một phần mười lúa mì, rượu, và dầu vào kho Đền Thờ.
And all Judah they brought [the] tithe of the grain and the new wine and the fresh oil to the storerooms.
13 Tôi chỉ định Thầy Tế lễ Sê-lê-mia, Thư ký Xa-đốc, và Phê-đa-gia, một người Lê-vi, cùng nhau lo việc cai quản kho tàng, còn Ha-nan, con Xác-cua, cháu Mát-ta-nia, được chỉ định làm phụ tá cho họ, vì họ là những người đáng tín nhiệm. Họ có bổn phận phân phối các lễ vật thu được cho người có quyền hưởng dụng.
And I appointed as treasurers! over [the] storerooms Shelemiah the priest and Zadok the scribe and Pedaiah one of the Levites and [was] on hand their Hanan [the] son of Zaccur [the] son of Mattaniah for reliable they were thought and [was] on them to distribute to brothers their.
14 Cầu Đức Chúa Trời ghi nhận việc này cho con, và cũng đừng quên những điều con đã làm cho Đền Thờ Chúa, để phục vụ Ngài.
Remember! to me O God my on this and may not you wipe out loyalti my which I have done in [the] house of God my and in services its.
15 Vào một ngày Sa-bát, tôi bắt gặp một số người Giu-đa đang ép nho, chất những bó lúa lên lưng lừa; rồi chở vào Giê-ru-sa-lem cùng với rượu, trái vả, nho, và nhiều sản vật khác trong ngày Sa-bát. Tôi liền cảnh cáo họ khi họ bán các sản vật ấy.
In the days those I saw in Judah - [some who] trod winepresses - on the sabbath and [some who] brought heaps of grain and [some who] loaded [them] on donkeys and also wine grapes and figs and every load and [some who] brought [them] Jerusalem on [the] day of the sabbath and I protested on [the] day sold they food.
16 Lại có những người Ty-rơ đem cá và các thứ hàng hóa bán cho người Giu-đa ở Giê-ru-sa-lem vào ngày Sa-bát!
And the Tyrians [who] they dwelt in it [were] bringing fish and every merchandise and [were] selling [it] on the sabbath to [the] people of Judah and in Jerusalem.
17 Tôi trách móc các nhà quý tộc Giu-đa: “Sao các ông xúc phạm ngày Sa-bát?
And I contended! with [the] nobles of Judah and I said! to them what? [is] the thing evil this which you [are] doing and [are] profaning [the] day of the sabbath.
18 Tổ tiên các ông cũng đã hành động như thế, và hậu quả là chúng ta và thành này chịu tai họa từ Đức Chúa Trời ngày nay. Các ông còn muốn Ít-ra-ên mang họa vì để cho ngày Sa-bát bị xúc phạm nữa sao?”
¿ Not thus did they do ancestors your and he brought God our on us all the trouble this and on the city this and you [are] increasing anger toward Israel by profaning the sabbath.
19 Tôi ra lệnh đóng cổng thành Giê-ru-sa-lem vào mỗi thứ sáu, lúc trời vừa tối; và chỉ mở cổng lại khi ngày Sa-bát đã qua. Tôi cũng chỉ định gia nhân lo việc kiểm soát cổng thành, không cho ai đem hàng hóa vào trong ngày Sa-bát.
And it was just when they became dark [the] gates of Jerusalem before the sabbath and I said! and they were closed the doors and I said! that not people will open them until after the sabbath and some of servants my I stationed at the gates not it will come a load on [the] day of the sabbath.
20 Thấy có một số người buôn bán ngủ lại bên ngoài thành tại Giê-ru-sa-lem một vài lần,
And they passed [the] night the traders and [the] sellers of every merchandise from [the] outside of Jerusalem a time and two [times].
21 tôi liền cảnh cáo: “Lần sau, nếu ai còn ngủ lại ngoài thành sẽ bị bắt.” Và từ đó, họ không đến vào ngày Sa-bát nữa.
And I warned! them and I said! to them why? [are] you passing [the] night before the wall if you will do [it] again a hand I will stretch out on you from the time that not they came on the sabbath.
22 Tôi cũng ra lệnh cho người Lê-vi thanh tẩy chính mình để gác cổng thành và giữ ngày Sa-bát thánh khiết. Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin ghi nhận điều này, và xin thương xót con theo lòng nhân từ vô biên của Ngài.
And I said! to the Levites that they will be purifying themselves and coming guarding the gates to keep holy [the] day of the sabbath also this remember! to me O God my and have mercy! on me according to [the] greatness of covenant loyalty your.
23 Cũng vào thời gian ấy, tôi thấy có những người Giu-đa cưới phụ nữ Ách-đốt, Am-môn, Mô-áp,
Also - in the days those I saw the Jews [who] they had married women (Ashdodite Ammonite *Q(k)*) Moabite.
24 và một số con cái của họ nói tiếng Ách-đốt chứ không nói được tiếng Do Thái.
And children their half [were] speaking Ashdodite and not they [were] knowing to speak [in] Judean and according to [the] language of people and people.
25 Tôi quở trách, nguyền rủa họ, thậm chí đánh hoặc bứt tóc một vài người, buộc họ nhân danh Đức Chúa Trời thề sẽ không gả con gái mình cho người nước ngoài, không cưới con gái nước ngoài cho con trai mình hoặc cho chính mình.
And I contended with them and I cursed them and I struck some of them men and I pulled out beard their and I made take an oath them by God if you will give daughters your to sons their and if you will take any of daughters their for sons your and for yourselves.
26 Tôi giải thích: “Vua Sa-lô-môn cũng đã phạm tội vì phụ nữ nước ngoài. Có vua nước nào như Sa-lô-môn, được Đức Chúa Trời yêu, cho cai trị cả Ít-ra-ên không? Thế mà, vua bị phụ nữ nước ngoài xui giục phạm tội.
¿ Not on these did he sin Solomon [the] king of Israel and among the nations many not he was a king like him and loved by God his he was and he made him God king over all Israel also him they caused to sin the wives foreign.
27 Các ngươi tưởng chúng ta sẽ nghe lời các ngươi, để cho các ngươi hành động gian tà, cưới vợ ngoại giáo, phạm tội với Đức Chúa Trời sao?”
And to you ¿ is it heard to do all the evil great this to act unfaithfully against God our by marrying wives foreign.
28 Một người con trai của Giê-hô-gia-đa, con thầy thượng tế Ê-li-a-síp, cưới con gái San-ba-lát, người Hô-rôn, nên bị tôi đuổi đi.
And one of [the] sons of Joiada [the] son of Eliashib the priest great [was] a son-in-law of Sanballat the Horonite and I drove away him from with me.
29 Xin Đức Chúa Trời nhớ cho, họ đã làm ô uế chức vụ và phạm lời thề của thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi.
Remember! to them O God my on [the] defilement of the priesthood and [the] covenant of the priesthood and the Levites.
30 Như thế, tôi thanh lọc họ để họ không còn vương vấn với người nước ngoài. Tôi quy định trách nhiệm cho các thầy tế lễ, người Lê-vi, và
And I purified them from all foreignness and I assigned! duties to the priests and to the Levites each one in own work his.
31 định phiên để họ cung cấp củi và lo thu nhận hoa quả đầu mùa. Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin nhớ đến con và làm ơn cho con!
And for [the] offering of the wood at times appointed and for the first-fruits remember! to me O God my for good.
