Mi-ca 3
1 Tôi bảo: “Hãy lắng nghe, các nhà lãnh đạo của Ít-ra-ên! Các ngươi cần phân biệt chính tà, phải trái,
And I said: Listen, leaders of Jacob and chiefs of the house of Israel. Does it not belong to you to know judgment,
2 nhưng các ngươi lại ghét điều lành và mến điều dữ. Các ngươi bóc lột dân lành đến tận xương tủy.
you who hold hatred for good, and love evil, who violently steal their skins from over them and their flesh from over their bones?
3 Các ngươi ăn thịt dân tôi, lột da, và bẻ xương họ. Các ngươi chặt ra từng miếng cho vào nồi.
They have devoured the flesh of my people, and have stripped their skin from over them, and they have shattered and chopped their bones, as if for the kettle, and like flesh in the middle of the pot.
4 Rồi các ngươi sẽ kêu cầu Chúa Hằng Hữu giúp đỡ! Các ngươi có thật tin Ngài sẽ trả lời không? Với tất cả điều ác các ngươi đã làm, Ngài sẽ không nhìn các ngươi dù chỉ một lần!”
Then they will cry out to the Lord, and he will not heed them. And he will hide his face from them in that time, just as they have acted wickedly with their inventions.
5 Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: “Ngươi, các tiên tri giả đã dẫn dân Ta đi lầm lạc! Các ngươi chỉ hòa hảo với những người cho ngươi ăn, và tuyên chiến với những ai không cung cấp lương thực cho ngươi.
Thus says the Lord about the prophets who seduce my people: They bite with their teeth and preach peace, and if anyone does not give something to their mouth, they sanctify a battle against him.
6 Vì thế, suốt đêm các ngươi chẳng thấy khải tượng. Các ngươi tự giam mình trong bóng tối mà chẳng nói được một lời thần cảm. Mặt trời sẽ lặn trên các tiên tri, và quanh họ ban ngày cũng biến thành đêm tối.
Because of this, night will be yours for vision, and darkness yours for divination, and the sun will meet with death over the prophets, and the day will be darkened over them.
7 Những người tiên kiến sẽ xấu hổ, và các tiên tri sẽ thẹn mặt. Tất cả đều che miệng vì chẳng được lời giải đáp nào từ Đức Chúa Trời.”
And those who see visions will be confounded, and the diviners will be confounded. And they will all cover their faces, because there is no response from God.
8 Nhưng phần tôi, tôi đầy dẫy quyền năng— bởi Thần của Chúa Hằng Hữu. Tôi đầy dẫy công chính và sức mạnh để rao báo tội lỗi và sự phản nghịch của Ít-ra-ên.
Nevertheless, truly I have been filled with the strength of the Spirit of the Lord, with judgment and virtue, in order to announce to Jacob his wickedness and to Israel his sin.
9 Hãy nghe tôi, hỡi các nhà lãnh đạo Ít-ra-ên! Các ông thù ghét công lý và xuyên tạc cả sự công chính.
Hear this, leaders of the house of Jacob and judges of the house of Israel, you who abominate judgment and who pervert all that is right.
10 Các ông là những người xây cất Giê-ru-sa-lem bằng máu người và bằng sự thối nát.
You build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11 Các phán quan xử kiện để ăn hối lộ; các thầy tế lễ dạy luật của Đức Chúa Trời vì thù lao; các tiên tri rao giảng vì tiền bạc. Thế mà họ dám dựa vào Chúa Hằng Hữu mà rêu rao: “Chúng ta sẽ không gặp tai họa nào, vì Chúa Hằng Hữu vẫn ở giữa chúng ta!”
Her leaders have judged for tributes, and her priests have taught for payment, and her prophets divined for money. And they leaned upon the Lord, saying: “Is not the Lord in our midst? No disaster will overcome us.”
12 Vì các ngươi, Núi Si-ôn sẽ bị cày như ruộng; thành Giê-ru-sa-lem sẽ bị sụp đổ! Và núi nơi Đền Thờ ngự trị chỉ còn là một đỉnh cao.
For this reason, because of you, Zion will be plowed under like a field, and Jerusalem will become like a pile of stones, and the mountain of the temple like the high places of the forests.
