1 Lần khác, Chúa Giê-xu đến hội đường, gặp một người bị teo bàn tay.
And He entered again into the synagogue, and there was there a man having the hand withered,
2 Hôm ấy nhằm ngày Sa-bát, người ta chăm chú theo dõi xem Chúa có chữa bệnh cho người ấy không, để lấy cớ tố cáo Ngài.
and they were watching Him, whether on the Sabbaths He will heal him, that they might accuse Him.
3 Chúa Giê-xu phán bảo người teo tay: “Hãy đi và đứng trước mặt mọi người.”
And He says to the man having the hand withered, “Rise up in the midst.”
4 Rồi Chúa quay sang hỏi họ: “Trong ngày Sa-bát, làm điều thiện là hợp pháp, hay làm điều ác? Ngày ấy nên cứu người hay hại người?” Nhưng không ai dám trả lời.
And He says to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbaths to do good, or to do evil? To save life, or to kill?” But they were silent.
5 Chúa đưa mắt nhìn họ, vừa giận vừa buồn vì họ dửng dưng trước khổ đau của đồng loại. Ngài bảo người teo tay: “Con xòe bàn tay ra!” Anh vâng lời, bàn tay liền được lành!
And having looked around on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their heart, He says to the man, “Stretch forth your hand”; and he stretched forth, and his hand was restored whole as the other;
6 Các thầy Pha-ri-si ra về, liền họp với đảng Hê-rốt tìm mưu giết Chúa Giê-xu.
and the Pharisees having gone forth, immediately, with the Herodians, were taking counsel against Him how they might destroy Him.
7 Chúa Giê-xu và các môn đệ đến bờ biển. Một đoàn dân đông đảo đi theo Chúa. Họ đến từ Ga-li-lê, Giu-đê,
And Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea,
8 Giê-ru-sa-lem, I-đu-mê, miền đông sông Giô-đan, và từ những nơi xa xôi như Ty-rơ, Si-đôn. Họ nghe tin đồn về các phép lạ Chúa làm, nên kéo nhau đến gặp Ngài.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and they around Tyre and Sidon—a great multitude—having heard how He was doing great things, came to Him.
9 Chúa Giê-xu dặn các môn đệ chuẩn bị một chiếc thuyền, phòng khi bị dân chúng xô đẩy thì Ngài lên thuyền.
And He said to His disciples that a little boat may wait on Him, because of the multitude, that they may not press on Him,
10 Chúa chữa lành cho nhiều người, nên vô số người bệnh chen lấn quanh Ngài, cố sờ Ngài cho được.
for He healed many, so that they threw themselves on Him, in order to touch Him—as many as had plagues;
11 Những người bị quỷ ám thấy Ngài liền quỳ xuống, lớn tiếng thưa: “Thầy là Con Đức Chúa Trời!”
and the unclean spirits, when they were seeing Him, were falling down before Him, and were crying, saying, “You are the Son of God”;
12 Nhưng Chúa Giê-xu nghiêm cấm chúng không được nói cho người ta biết về Ngài.
and many times He was charging them that they might not make Him apparent.
13 Chúa Giê-xu đi lên núi, gọi theo một số người Ngài lựa chọn.
And He goes up to the mountain, and calls near whom He willed, and they went away to Him;
14 Chúa bổ nhiệm mười hai sứ đồ để họ theo Ngài thường xuyên, và sai họ đi công bố Phúc Âm
and He appointed twelve, that they may be with Him, and that He may send them forth to preach,
15 với quyền năng đuổi quỷ.
and to have power to heal the sicknesses, and to cast out the demons.
16 Đây là tên mười hai sứ đồ: Si-môn (Chúa đặt tên là Phi-e-rơ)
And He put on Simon the name Peter;
17 Gia-cơ và Giăng, (con của Xê-bê-đê, nhưng Chúa Giê-xu gọi họ là “Con của Sấm Sét”),
and James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, and He put on them names—Boanerges, that is, “Sons of thunder”;
18 Anh-rê, Phi-líp, Ba-thê-lê-my, Ma-thi-ơ, Thô-ma, Gia-cơ (con của An-phê), Tha-đê Si-môn (đảng viên Xê-lốt),
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot,
19 Giu-đa Ích-ca-ri-ốt (về sau phản Chúa).
and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered Him up; and they come into a house.
20 Khi Chúa Giê-xu trở về nhà, dân chúng tụ họp mỗi lúc một đông, đến nỗi Ngài không có thì giờ ăn uống.
And a multitude comes together again, so that they are not even able to eat bread;
21 Gia đình Ngài được tin, liền tìm cách cầm giữ Ngài, vì cho rằng Ngài bị mất trí.
and those alongside Him having heard, went forth to lay hold on Him, for they said that He was beside Himself,
22 Nhưng các thầy dạy luật từ Giê-ru-sa-lem về lại nói: “Ông ấy bị quỷ Sa-tan ám nên nhờ quyền của quỷ vương để đuổi quỷ.”
and the scribes who [are] from Jerusalem having come down, said, “He has Beelzebul,” and, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out the demons.”
23 Chúa Giê-xu mời những người đó đến, giải thích: “Làm sao Sa-tan có thể đuổi Sa-tan?
And having called them near, He said to them in allegories, “How is Satan able to cast out Satan?
24 Một nước chia rẽ phải sụp đổ,
And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;
25 một gia đình chia rẽ phải tan nát.
and if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot be made to stand;
26 Nếu Sa-tan chống lại Sa-tan, nước nó sẽ bị chia rẽ, không còn tồn tại nữa.
and if Satan rose against himself, and has been divided, he cannot be made to stand, but has an end.
27 Không ai vào nhà một người chủ nô cường bạo để giải cứu đám nô lệ mà trước hết không trói người ấy lại. Nếu không thắng Sa-tan, không thể đuổi quỷ sứ của nó được.
No one is able to spoil the vessels of the strong man, having entered into his house, if first he may not bind the strong man, and then he will spoil his house.
28 Ta quả quyết với các ông, mọi tội lỗi và lời xúc phạm của loài người đều có thể được tha.
Truly I say to you that all sins will be forgiven to the sons of men, and slanders with which they might have slandered,
30 Chúa bảo thế, vì trong khi Ngài nhờ quyền năng Chúa Thánh Linh để đuổi quỷ, họ vẫn nói rằng Ngài nhờ quỷ vương.
because they said, He has an unclean spirit.”
31 Mẹ và các em Chúa Giê-xu đến thăm Chúa. Họ đứng bên ngoài và nhờ người gọi Ngài.
Then His brothers and mother come, and standing outside, they sent to Him, calling Him,
32 Đám đông đang ngồi chung quanh Chúa Giê-xu, có người thưa với Ngài: “Mẹ và các em Thầy ở phía ngoài, muốn gặp Thầy.”
and a multitude was sitting around Him, and they said to Him, “Behold, Your mother and Your brothers seek You outside.”
33 Chúa Giê-xu hỏi: “Ai là mẹ Ta, ai là em Ta?”
And He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?”
34 Quay nhìn những người ngồi chung quanh, Ngài bảo: “Đây là mẹ Ta và anh chị em Ta.
And having looked around in a circle to those sitting around Him, He says, “Behold, My mother and My brothers!
35 Vì tất cả những người làm theo ý muốn Đức Chúa Trời đều là anh em, chị em, và mẹ Ta.”
For whoever may do the will of God, he is My brother, and My sister, and mother.”
