Lê-vi 21
1 Chúa Hằng Hữu phán dặn Môi-se nói với các con trai A-rôn: “Các thầy tế lễ không được đụng đến người chết để khỏi bị ô uế;
and to say LORD to(wards) Moses to say to(wards) [the] priest son: child Aaron and to say to(wards) them to/for soul: dead not to defile in/on/with kinsman his
2 ngoại trừ trường hợp người chết là họ hàng gần—gồm cha, mẹ, con trai, con gái, anh em,
that if: except if: except to/for flesh his [the] near to(wards) him to/for mother his and to/for father his and to/for son: child his and to/for daughter his and to/for brother: male-sibling his
3 chị em còn độc thân sống gần với mình vì không có chồng.
and to/for sister his [the] virgin [the] near to(wards) him which not to be to/for man: husband to/for her to defile
4 Thầy tế lễ là người lãnh đạo của dân, nên không được để cho mình bị ô uế.
not to defile master: husband in/on/with kinsman his to/for to profane/begin: profane him
5 Thầy tế lễ không được cạo tóc, cắt mép râu, hay cắt thịt mình.
not (to make bald *Q(k)*) bald spot in/on/with head their and side beard their not to shave and in/on/with flesh their not to incise incision
6 Họ phải sống thánh khiết cho Đức Chúa Trời của họ, không được xúc phạm đến Danh Ngài, để xứng đáng là người dâng tế lễ thiêu, dâng bánh lên Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của họ. Vậy họ phải thánh khiết.

7 Thầy tế lễ không được kết hôn với gái mãi dâm hay đàn bà lăng loàn, cũng không nên lấy đàn bà ly dị, vì thầy tế lễ là người thánh của Đức Chúa Trời.
woman to fornicate and profaned not to take: marry and woman to drive out: divorce from man: husband her not to take: marry for holy he/she/it to/for God his
8 Thầy tế lễ được biệt riêng để dâng lễ vật lên Đức Chúa Trời, là người thánh, vì Ta, Chúa Hằng Hữu thánh khiết, đã thánh hóa họ.
and to consecrate: consecate him for [obj] food: bread God your he/she/it to present: bring holy to be to/for you for holy I LORD to consecrate: consecate you
9 Nếu con gái của thầy tế lễ làm gái mãi dâm, xúc phạm cha mình, thì người con gái ấy phải bị thiêu sống.
and daughter man priest for to profane/begin: profane to/for to fornicate [obj] father her he/she/it to profane/begin: profane in/on/with fire to burn
10 Thầy thượng tế là người đầu được xức dầu thánh, mình mặc áo lễ, không có phép bỏ tóc xõa, không được xé áo mình,
and [the] priest [the] great: large from brother: male-relative his which to pour: pour upon head his oil [the] anointing and to fill [obj] hand: donate his to/for to clothe [obj] [the] garment [obj] head his not to neglect and garment his not to tear
11 cũng không được đến gần xác chết, làm ô uế mình, dù người chết là cha hay mẹ mình.
and upon all soul: dead to die not to come (in): come to/for father his and to/for mother his not to defile
12 Thầy thượng tế không được rời khỏi đền thánh của Đức Chúa Trời hoặc xúc phạm nơi đó, vì người được hiến dâng cho Đức Chúa Trời bởi sự xức dầu, Ta là Chúa Hằng Hữu.
and from [the] sanctuary not to come out: come and not to profane/begin: profane [obj] sanctuary God his for consecration: crown oil anointing God his upon him I LORD
13 Người chỉ được cưới gái đồng trinh làm vợ.
and he/she/it woman: wife in/on/with virginity her to take: marry
14 Người không được cưới đàn bà góa, đàn bà ly dị hay đàn bà lăng loàn, gái mãi dâm, nhưng chỉ được cưới gái đồng trinh trong đại tộc Lê-vi;
widow and to drive out: divorce and profaned to fornicate [obj] these not to take: marry that if: except if: except virgin from kinsman his to take: marry woman: wife
15 vì người không được phàm tục hóa con cháu mình giữa dân chúng. Ta, Chúa Hằng Hữu, đã thánh hóa người.”
and not to profane/begin: profane seed: children his in/on/with kinsman his for I LORD to consecrate: consecate him
16 Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Môi-se:
and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
17 “Hãy nói với A-rôn: ‘Không một ai trong con cháu ngươi—từ nay cho đến các thế hệ sau—được đứng dâng lễ vật lên Đức Chúa Trời nếu bị tật nguyền.
to speak: speak to(wards) Aaron to/for to say man from seed: children your to/for generation their which to be in/on/with him blemish not to present: come to/for to present: bring food: bread God his
18 Đó là những người bị khiếm thị, què, thân thể biến dạng,
for all man which in/on/with him blemish not to present: come man blind or lame or to slash or to extend
19 những người gãy chân, gãy tay,
or man which to be in/on/with him breaking foot or breaking hand
20 hoặc gù lưng, còi cọc, mắt có tật, ghẻ lở, và tinh hoàn dập.
or humpbacked or thin or defect in/on/with eye: seeing his or scab or scab or crushed testicle
21 Vậy, người có tật nguyền—dù là con cháu Thầy Tế lễ A-rôn—sẽ không được đứng dâng lễ thiêu lên Chúa Hằng Hữu.

22 Tuy nhiên, họ được phép ăn lễ vật đã dâng lên Đức Chúa Trời, cả lễ vật thánh và rất thánh.
food: bread God his from holiness [the] holiness and from [the] holiness to eat
23 Nhưng không được đến gần bức màn và bàn thờ, vì tật nguyền của người ấy sẽ xúc phạm nơi thánh của Ta. Ta là Chúa Hằng Hữu đã thánh hóa các nơi ấy.’”
surely to(wards) [the] curtain not to come (in): come and to(wards) [the] altar not to approach: approach for blemish in/on/with him and not to profane/begin: profane [obj] sanctuary my for I LORD to consecrate: consecate them
24 Môi-se lặp lại các lời này cho A-rôn, các con trai A-rôn, và toàn dân Ít-ra-ên.
and to speak: speak Moses to(wards) Aaron and to(wards) son: child his and to(wards) all son: descendant/people Israel
