1 Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Môi-se và A-rôn:

And Yahweh spake unto Moses and unto Aaron saying:

2 “Truyền cho người Ít-ra-ên biết rằng một người đàn ông di tinh sẽ bị coi là không sạch.

Speak unto the sons of Israel, and ye shall say unto them, —When, any man whatsoever, hath a flowing from his flesh, his flux, is, unclean.

3 Những điều sau đây áp dụng cho trường hợp một người di tinh, và cũng áp dụng cho cả lúc người ấy ngưng di tinh nữa:

And, this shall be his uncleanness in his flux, —whether his flesh is running with his flux or his flesh hath closed from his flux, his uncleanness, it is.

4 Giường người ấy nằm và bất kỳ vật gì người ấy ngồi lên đều không sạch.

All the bed whereon he that hath the flux lieth, shall be unclean, —and, every piece of furniture whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.

5 Ai đụng đến giường người ấy phải giặt quần áo mình, phải tắm, và bị ô uế cho đến tối.

And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.

6 Ai ngồi trên vật gì người ấy đã ngồi lên, phải giặt quần áo mình, phải tắm, và bị ô uế cho đến tối.

And, he that sitteth on that whereon he that hath the flux hath sat, shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

7 Ai đụng đến người ấy phải giặt quần áo mình, phải tắm, và bị ô uế cho đến tối.

And, he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the flux, shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening,

8 Nếu người ấy nhổ trúng phải một người sạch, người này phải giặt quần áo mình, phải tắm, và bị ô uế cho đến tối.

And, when he that hath a flux spitteth on him that is clean, then shall he wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.

9 Yên ngựa, yên xe người ấy ngồi lên sẽ không sạch.

And, every saddle whereon he that hath the flux rideth, shall be unclean.

10 Vậy, người nào đụng đến vật gì người ấy nằm hay ngồi lên sẽ bị ô uế cho đến tối. Người có bổn phận mang những đồ vật ấy đi, phải giặt quần áo mình, phải tắm, và bị ô uế cho đến tối.

And, whosoever toucheth anything that was under him shall be unclean until the evening; and, he that carrieth them shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

11 Nếu người ấy đụng đến ai mà không rửa tay trước, thì người bị đụng phải giặt quần áo mình, phải tắm, bị ô uế cho đến tối.

And, whomsoever he that hath the flux toucheth, not having rinsed, his hands in water, then shall he wash his clothes, and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening,

12 Nếu người ấy đụng đến đồ dùng bằng đất, thì đồ ấy phải bị đập vỡ, nếu là đồ dùng bằng gỗ, thì phải đem rửa sạch.

And the earthen vessel which he that hath the flux toucheth shall be broken in pieces, —and, every vessel of wood, shall be rinsed in water.

13 Khi chứng di tinh chấm dứt, người ấy có bảy ngày để tẩy sạch mình, phải giặt quần áo, phải tắm tại một dòng nước chảy, và được sạch.

And when he that hath the flux becometh clean from his flux, then shall he number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, —and bathe his flesh in living water, and be clean.

14 Ngày thứ tám, người ấy sẽ đem đến cho thầy tế lễ tại cửa Đền Tạm, trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu hai chim cu hoặc hai bồ câu con.

And, on the eighth day, he shall take for himself two turtle doves or two young pigeons, —and come in before Yahweh, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, and give them to the priest;

15 Thầy tế lễ sẽ dâng một con làm tế lễ chuộc tội, một con làm tế lễ thiêu. Vậy, thầy tế lễ dâng sinh tế chuộc tội cho người ấy trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu.

and the priest shall offer them, one as a sin-bearer and the other as an ascending-sacrifice, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, before Yahweh, because of his flux.

16 Khi một người đàn ông xuất tinh, người ấy phải tắm toàn thân trong nước, và bị ô uế cho đến tối.

And, when there goeth out from, any man, an outflow of seed, then shall he bathe all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the evening.

17 Quần áo, cùng đồ dùng bằng da bị dính phải, phải đem giặt đi và bị ô uế cho đến tối.

And, in the case of any garment or any skin whereupon there shall come to be an outflow of seed, then shall it be washed in water, and be unclean until the evening.

18 Người đàn ông cũng như đàn bà phải tắm sau lúc giao hợp và bị ô uế cho đến tối.

Also, a woman with whom man lieth carnally, then shall they bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

19 Một người đàn bà có kinh sẽ bị ô uế trong bảy ngày, ai đụng đến người ấy sẽ bị ô uế cho đến tối.

And, when a, woman, hath a flow, and her flow in her flesh is, blood, seven days, shall she continue in her removal, and whosoever toucheth her, shall be unclean until the evening;

20 Bất kỳ vật gì người ấy nằm hoặc ngồi lên đều không sạch.

and, whatsoever she lieth upon in her removal, shall be unclean, —and, whatsoever she sitteth upon, shall be unclean;

21 Ai đụng đến giường người ấy nằm thì phải giặt quần áo mình, phải tắm, và bị ô uế đến tối.

and whosoever toucheth her bed, shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening;

22 Ai đụng đến vật gì người ấy ngồi lên cũng vậy.

and, whosoever toucheth any thing whereon she sitteth shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening;

23 Bất kỳ là giường người ấy nằm hay vật gì người ấy ngồi lên, hễ ai đụng vào, đều bị ô uế đến tối.

and, whether, on her bed, it is, or on any thing whereon she hath been sitting, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the evening;

24 Nếu một người đàn ông giao hợp với người đàn bà trong thời gian bị ô uế, sẽ bị ô uế trong bảy ngày, giường nào người đàn ông này nằm cũng sẽ ô uế.

and if man shall even lie with her, and her cause for removal be upon him, then shall he be unclean seven days, —and, all the bed whereon he shall lie, shall be unclean.

25 Nếu một người đàn bà ra máu nhiều ngày ngoài thời gian có kinh, hoặc ra máu lâu quá thời kỳ có kinh thông thường, thì người ấy sẽ không sạch suốt thời gian ra máu, cũng như lúc có kinh.

And when any woman’s, flow of blood lasteth many day, outside the time of her removal, or when it floweth beyond her removal, all the days of her unclean flow, shall she be as in the days of her removal—unclean, she is.

26 Giường nào người ấy nằm, vật gì người ấy ngồi lên sẽ không sạch, cũng như lúc có kinh.

All the bed whereon she lieth during all the days of her flow, like her bed in her removal, shall be to her, —and, every thing whereon she sitteth, shall be, unclean, like the uncleanness in her removal;

27 Ai đụng đến các vật ấy sẽ bị ô uế, phải giặt quần áo mình, tắm rửa, và bị ô uế cho đến tối.

and whosoever toucheth them, shall be unclean, —and shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

28 Bảy ngày sau khi chứng ra máu chấm dứt, người ấy sẽ được sạch.

But, if she be clean from her flow, then shall she count to herself seven days and afterwards, shall she count herself clean.

29 Ngày thứ tám, người ấy sẽ đem đến cho thầy tế lễ tại cửa Đền Tạm hai chim cu hoặc hai bồ câu con.

And, on the eighth day, shall she take to herself two turtle doves, or two young pigeons, —and bring them in unto the priest, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting;

30 Thầy tế lễ sẽ dâng một con làm tế lễ chuộc tội, một con làm tế lễ thiêu. Vậy thầy tế lễ làm lễ chuộc tội cho người ấy trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu.

31 Như vậy, các ngươi sẽ tẩy sạch người Ít-ra-ên khi họ bị ô uế, nếu không, họ phải chết, vì làm ô uế Đền Tạm của Ta ở giữa họ.

Thus shall ye warn the sons of Israel from their uncleanness, And they shall not die in their uncleanness, By reason of their making unclean my habitation which is in their midst.

32 Đó là luật liên hệ đến đàn ông vì chứng di tinh và xuất tinh trở nên ô uế;

This, is the law—Of him that hath a flux, —And of him from whom goeth an outflow of seed, making unclean thereby;

33 liên hệ đến đàn bà có kinh, hoặc ra máu, và trường hợp đàn ông giao hợp với đàn bà đang bị ô uế.”

And of her that is unwell with her cause for removal, And of him whose flux floweth, For the male, and for the female, —And for a man who lieth with her that is unclean.
