Giô-sua 15
1 Phần đất của đại tộc Giu-đa chạy dài từ biên giới Ê-đôm, ngang qua hoang mạc Xin đến tận cuối miền nam.
Now the part of the land marked out for the children of Judah by families, went up to the edge of Edom, as far as the waste land of Zin to the south, to the farthest point of it on the south.
2 Biên giới phía nam của Giu-đa chạy từ vịnh phía nam của Biển Chết,
Their south limit was from the farthest part of the Salt Sea, from the inlet looking to the south:
3 trải dài về phương nam qua đèo Ạc-ráp-bim, dọc theo hoang mạc Xin, vòng qua Ca-đê Ba-nê-a ở cực nam, qua Hết-rôn, lên Át-đa, vòng qua Cát-ca,
From there it goes south of the slope up to Akrabbim, and on to Zin, then south past Kadesh-barnea, and on by Hezron and up to Addar, turning in the direction of Karka:
4 qua Át-môn, lên đến Suối Ai Cập, ra đến biển. Đó sẽ là ranh giới phía nam của anh em.
Then on to Azmon, ending at the stream of Egypt: and the end of the limit is at the sea; this will be your limit on the south.
5 Biên giới phía đông chạy dài từ Biển Chết cho đến cửa Sông Giô-đan. Biên giới phía bắc chạy từ vịnh nơi Sông Giô-đan đổ vào Biển Mặn,
And the east limit is the Salt Sea as far as the end of Jordan. And the limit of the north part of the land is from the inlet of the sea at the end of Jordan:
6 qua Bết-hốt-la, dọc theo phía bắc Bết-a-ra-ba, lên phía tảng đá Bô-han (con của Ru-bên),
Then the line goes up to Beth-hoglah, past the north of Beth-arabah, and up to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben;
7 qua Đê-bia trong thung lũng A-cô, chạy lên phía bắc đến Ghinh-ganh, đối diện dốc A-đu-mim ở phía nam thung lũng này, rồi chạy qua mé nước Ên-sê-mết, đến Ên-rô-ghên.
Then the line goes up to Debir from the valley of Achor, and so to the north, in the direction of Gilgal, which is opposite the slope up to Adummim, on the south side of the river: and the line goes on to the waters of En-shemesh, ending at En-rogel:

Then the line goes up by the valley of the son of Hinnom to the south side of the Jebusite (which is Jerusalem): then up to the top of the mountain in front of the valley of Hinnom to the west, which is at the farthest point of the valley of Rephaim on the north:
9 Từ đó, biên giới chạy từ đỉnh núi đến suối Nép-thô-ách, qua các thành trên núi Ép-rôn, vòng quanh Ba-la tức Ki-ri-át Giê-a-rim.
And the limit is marked out from the top of the mountain to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and out to the towns of Mount Ephron, as far as Baalah (which is Kiriath-jearim):
10 Rồi biên giới vòng qua phía tây Ba-la, đến núi Sê-i-rơ, qua Kê-sa-long bên triền phía bắc núi Giê-a-rim, xuống Bết-sê-mết, qua Thim-na,
Then turning west, the line goes from Baalah to Mount Seir, and on to the side of Mount Jearim (which is Chesalon) on the north, then down to Beth-shemesh, and on past Timnah:
11 qua góc phía bắc của Éc-rôn, quanh Siếc-rôn, qua núi Ba-la, đến Giáp-nê-ên và chấm dứt ở biển.
And out to the side of Ekron to the north: then it is marked out to Shikkeron and on to Mount Baalah, ending at Jabneel; the end of the line is at the sea.
12 Biên giới phía tây là bờ Biển Lớn. Đây là biên giới dành cho con cháu của đại tộc Giu-đa.
And the limit on the west is the edge of the Great Sea. This is the line going round the land marked out for the children of Judah, by their families.
13 Giô-suê tuân lệnh Chúa Hằng Hữu, cho Ca-lép con Giê-phu-nê một phần đất Giu-đa. Đó là thành Ki-ri-át A-ra-ba (tên của tổ tiên A-nác), nay gọi là Hếp-rôn.
And to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, he gave a part among the children of Judah, as the Lord had given orders to Joshua, that is, Kiriath-arba, named after Arba, the father of Anak which is Hebron.
14 Có ba người con trai của A-nác (Sê-sai, A-hi-man, và Thanh-mai) đang ở trong thành, nhưng họ đều bị Ca-lép đuổi đi.
And the three sons of Anak, Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the children of Anak, were forced out from there by Caleb.
15 Từ đó Ca-lép tiến đánh Đê-bia (tên cũ là Ki-ri-át Sê-phe).
From there he went up against the people of Debir: (now the name of Debir before that was Kiriath-sepher.)
16 Ca-lép nói: “Tôi sẽ gả con gái tôi là Ạc-sa cho người nào có công đánh chiếm Ki-ri-át Sê-phe.”
And Caleb said, I will give Achsah, my daughter, as wife to the man who overcomes Kiriath-sepher and takes it.
17 Ốt-ni-ên, con của Kê-na, em Ca-lép, lập công đầu, chiếm thành, và được Ca-lép gả con gái là Ạc-sa cho người làm vợ.
And Othniel, the son of Kenaz, Caleb's brother, took it: so he gave him his daughter Achsah for his wife.
18 Khi Ạc-sa đã lấy Ốt-ni-ên, nàng có giục chồng xin cha mình một sở ruộng. Lúc sắp lên đường theo chồng, nàng xuống lừa. Thấy thế, Ca-lép hỏi: “Con muốn gì?”
Now when she came to him, he put into her mind the idea of requesting a field from her father: and she got down from her ass; and Caleb said to her, What is it?
19 Nàng thưa: “Con xin cha một ân huệ. Vì cha đã cho con vùng đất Nê-ghép khô cằn, xin cha cho con thêm mấy suối nước nữa.” Ca-lép cho nàng các suối nước thượng và hạ.
And she said, Give me a blessing; because you have put me in dry south-land, now give me springs of water. So he gave her the higher spring and the lower spring.
20 Vậy, sản nghiệp của đại tộc Giu-đa gồm có:
This is the heritage of the tribe of Judah, by their families.
21 Các thành miền cực nam Giu-đa, gần biên giới Ê-đôm: Cáp-xê-ên, Ê-đe, Gia-gu-a,
The farthest towns of the tribe of Judah in the direction of the limits of Edom to the south, were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur;
22 Ki-na, Đi-mô-na, A-đa-đa,
And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah;
23 Kê-đe, Hát-so, Ích-nan,
And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan;
24 Xíp, Tê-lem, Bê-a-lốt,
Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth;
25 Hát-so Ha-đa-ta, Kê-ri-giốt Hếp-rôn (tức Hát-so),
And Hazor-hadattah, and Kerioth-hezron (which is Hazor);
26 A-mam, Sê-ma, Mô-la-đa,
Amam, and Shema, and Moladah;
27 Hát-sa Ga-đa, Hết-môn, Bết Pha-lết,
And Hazar-gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-pelet;
28 Hát-sa-su-anh, Bê-e-sê-ba, Bi-sốt-gia,
And Hazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Biziothiah;
29 Ba-la, Y-im, Ê-xem,
Baalah, and Iim, and Ezem;
30 Ê-thô-lát, Kê-sinh, Họt-ma,
And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah;
31 Xiếc-lác, Mát-ma-na, San-sa-na,
And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah;
32 Lê-ba-ốt, Si-lim, A-in, và Rim-môn—tất cả là hai mươi chín thành với các thôn ấp phụ cận.
And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon; all the towns are twenty-nine, with their unwalled places.
33 Các thành trong đồng bằng: Ết-tha-ôn, Xô-ra, Át-na,
In the lowland, Eshtaol, and Zorah, and Ashnah;
34 Xa-nô-a, Ên-ga-nim, Tháp-bu-a, Ê-nam,
And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam;
35 Giạt-mút, A-đu-lam, Sô-cô, A-xê-ca,
Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah;
36 Sa-a-ra-im, A-đi-tha-im, Ghê-đê-ra, và Ghê-đê-rô-tha-im—cộng là mười bốn thành với các thôn ấp phụ cận.
And Shaaraim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen towns with their unwalled places.
37 Xê-nan, Ha-đa-sa, Mích-đanh-gát,
Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad;
38 Đi-lan, Mít-bê, Giốc-thê-ên,
And Dilan, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel;
39 La-ki, Bốt-cát, Éc-lôn,
Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon;
40 Cáp-bôn, La-mam, Kít-lít,
And Cabbon, and Lahmas, and Chithlish;
41 Ghê-đê-rốt, Bết-đa-gôn, Na-a-ma, và Ma-kê-đa—cộng là mười sáu thành với các thôn ấp phụ cận.
And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen towns with their unwalled places.
42 Líp-na, Ê-the, A-san,
Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan;
43 Díp-tách, Át-na, Nê-xíp,
And Iphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib;
44 Kê-i-la, Ách-xíp, và Ma-rê-sa—cộng là chín thành với các thôn ấp phụ cận.
And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine towns with their unwalled places.
45 Éc-rôn với các thành và các thôn ấp phụ cận.
Ekron, with her daughter-towns and her unwalled places;
46 Các thành giữa Éc-rôn và biển gồm cả các thành gần Ách-đốt với các thôn ấp phụ cận,
From Ekron to the sea, all the towns by the side of Ashdod, with their unwalled places.
47 Ách-đốt với các thành và thôn ấp phụ cận, Ga-xa với các thành và thôn ấp phụ cận chạy dài cho đến suối Ai Cập và bờ Biển Lớn.
Ashdod, with her daughter-towns and her unwalled places; Gaza, with her daughter-towns and her unwalled places, to the stream of Egypt, with the Great Sea as a limit.
48 Các thành trên đồi núi: Sa-mia, Gia-tia, Sô-cô,
And in the hill-country, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh;
49 Đa-na, Ki-ri-át Sa-na cũng gọi là Đê-bia,
And Dannah, and Kiriath-sannah (which is Debir);
50 A-náp, Ết-tê-mô, A-nim,
And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim;
51 Gô-sen, Hô-lôn, và Ghi-lô—cộng là mười một thành với các thôn ấp phụ cận.
And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven towns with their unwalled places.
52 Cũng bao gồm các thành A-ráp, Đu-ma, Ê-sau,
Arab, and Dumah, and Eshan;
53 Gia-nim, Bết-ta-bu-a, A-phê-ca,
And Janim, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah;
54 Hum-ta, Ki-ri-át A-ra-ba cũng gọi là Hếp-rôn, và Si-lô—cộng là chín thành với các thôn ấp phụ cận.
And Humtah, and Kiriath-arba (which is Hebron), and Zior; nine towns with their unwalled places.
55 Ma-ôn, Cát-mên, Xíp, Giu-ta,
Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Jutah;
56 Giê-rê-ên, Giốc-đê-am, Xa-nô-a,
And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah;
57 Ca-in, Ghi-bê-a, và Thim-na—cộng là mười thành với các thôn ấp phụ cận.
Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten towns with their unwalled places.
58 Hanh-hun, Bết-sua, Ghê-đô,
Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor;
59 Ma-a-rát, Bết-a-nốt, và Ên-tê-côn—cộng là sáu thành với các thôn ấp phụ cận.
And Maarath, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon; six towns with their unwalled places.
60 Ki-ri-át Ba-anh cũng gọi là Ki-ri-át Giê-a-rim, và Ráp-ba, hai thành với các thôn ấp phụ cận.
Kiriath-baal (which is Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah; two towns with their unwalled places.
61 Các thành trong hoang mạc: Bết-A-ra-ba, Mi-đin, Sê-ca-na,
In the waste land, Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah;
62 Níp-san, thành Muối, và Ên-ghê-đi—cộng là sáu thành và các thôn ấp phụ cận.
And Nibshan, and the Town of Salt, and En-gedi; six towns with their unwalled places.
63 Nhưng người Giu-đa không đuổi người Giê-bu ra khỏi thành Giê-ru-sa-lem, nên họ vẫn còn sống chung với người Giu-đa cho đến ngày nay.
And as for the Jebusites living in Jerusalem, the children of Judah were unable to make them go out; but the Jebusites are living with the children of Judah at Jerusalem, to this day.
