Giô-na 3
1 Một lần nữa, Chúa Hằng Hữu lại bảo Giô-na:

2 “Hãy chỗi dậy và đi qua thành phố lớn Ni-ni-ve mà công bố sứ điệp Ta đã truyền cho con.”
to arise: rise to go: went to(wards) Nineveh [the] city [the] great: large and to call: call out to(wards) her [obj] [the] proclamation which I to speak: speak to(wards) you
3 Lần này Giô-na vâng lời Chúa Hằng Hữu và đi qua Ni-ni-ve, là một thành phố lớn, đi khắp thành phải mất ba ngày.
and to arise: rise Jonah and to go: went to(wards) Nineveh like/as word LORD and Nineveh to be city great: large to/for God journey three day
4 Ngày đầu tiên vào thành, ông tuyên bố với đám đông: “Còn bốn mươi ngày nữa, Ni-ni-ve sẽ bị phá đổ!”
and to profane/begin: begin Jonah to/for to come (in): come in/on/with city journey day one and to call: call out and to say still forty day and Nineveh to overturn
5 Người Ni-ni-ve tin sứ điệp của Đức Chúa Trời, nên họ loan báo một cuộc kiêng ăn, và tất cả mọi người từ người cao trọng cho đến người hèn mọn đều mặc bao gai.
and be faithful human Nineveh in/on/with God and to call: call to fast and to clothe sackcloth from great: large their and till small their
6 Khi tin loan đến vua Ni-ni-ve, vua đang ngồi trên ngai liền đứng dậy, cởi bỏ vương bào, mặc bao gai và ngồi trong tro bụi.
and to touch [the] word to(wards) king Nineveh and to arise: rise from throne his and to pass: bring clothing his from upon him and to cover sackcloth and to dwell upon [the] ashes
7 Vua cũng ra một sắc lệnh cho toàn Ni-ni-ve rằng: “Do lệnh của vua và các quan trưởng quý tộc: Bất luận người hay vật, bất kể bầy bò hay bầy chiên, tất cả đều không được ăn uống.
and to cry out and to say in/on/with Nineveh from taste [the] king and great: large his to/for to say [the] man and [the] animal [the] cattle and [the] flock not to perceive anything not to pasture and water not to drink
8 Người và vật đều phải mặc bao gai, mọi người phải hết sức cầu khẩn Đức Chúa Trời. Mỗi người phải lìa bỏ con đường gian ác và công việc hung tàn của mình.
and to cover sackcloth [the] man and [the] animal and to call: call to to(wards) God in/on/with force and to return: repent man: anyone from way: conduct his [the] distress: evil and from [the] violence which in/on/with palm their
9 Biết đâu Đức Chúa Trời nhìn lại, đổi ý, ngừng cơn giận của Ngài và chúng ta được thoát chết.”
who? to know to return: repent and to be sorry: relent [the] God and to return: repent from burning anger face: anger his and not to perish
10 Đức Chúa Trời thấy những việc họ làm và cách họ lìa bỏ đường gian ác, Ngài đổi ý và không giáng tai họa hình phạt như Ngài đã đe dọa.
and to see: see [the] God [obj] deed their for to return: repent from way: conduct their [the] distress: evil and to be sorry: relent [the] God upon [the] distress: harm which to speak: speak to/for to make: do to/for them and not to make: do
