Gióp 2
1 Một ngày kia, các thiên sứ lại đến chầu Chúa Hằng Hữu, Sa-tan cũng đến với họ.
And it was the day and they came [the] sons of God to present themselves on Yahweh and he came also the adversary in midst of them to present himself on Yahweh.
2 Chúa Hằng Hữu hỏi Sa-tan: “Ngươi từ đâu đến đây?” Sa-tan trả lời Chúa Hằng Hữu: “Tôi lang thang trên đất, ngắm nhìn mọi việc xảy ra.”
And he said Yahweh to the adversary where? from this are you coming and he answered the adversary Yahweh and he said from roving about on the earth and from going about on it.
3 Chúa Hằng Hữu hỏi Sa-tan: “Ngươi có thấy Gióp, đầy tớ Ta không? Đó là người tốt nhất trên đất. Là người trọn lành—một người hoàn toàn chính trực. Là người kính sợ Đức Chúa Trời và tránh xa điều ác. Dù ngươi xin Ta hại người vô cớ, Gióp vẫn cương quyết sống trọn lành.”
And he said Yahweh to the adversary ¿ have you set heart your to servant my Job for there not [is] like him on the earth a man blameless and upright fearing God and [who] turns aside from evil and still he [is] keeping hold on integrity his and you incited me against him to ruin him without cause.
4 Sa-tan đáp lời Chúa Hằng Hữu: “Da đền cho da! Người ta chịu mất tất cả để đổi lấy sinh mạng mình.
And he answered the adversary Yahweh and he said skin for skin and all that [belongs] to the man he will give for life his.
5 Nếu Chúa đưa tay hại đến xương thịt ông ta, chắc chắn Gióp sẽ nguyền rủa Chúa ngay!”
But stretch out please hand your and touch bone his and flesh his if not to face your he will bless you.
6 Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Sa-tan: “Được, hãy làm điều ngươi muốn, nhưng không được hại đến mạng sống người.”
And he said Yahweh to the adversary there he [is] in hand your surely life his preserve.
7 Vậy Sa-tan lui khỏi mắt Chúa, và khiến cho Gióp bị ung nhọt đau đớn từ đầu đến chân.
And he went out the adversary from with [the] presence of Yahweh and he struck Job with boil[s] bad from [the] sole of foot his (and to *Q(K)*) scalp his.
8 Gióp gãi da mình bằng mảnh sành và ngồi giữa đống tro.
And he took for himself a potsherd to scrape himself with it and he [was] sitting in [the] midst the ash[es].
9 Vợ ông nói: “Ông vẫn cương quyết sống đạo đức sao? Hãy nguyền rủa Đức Chúa Trời rồi chết đi.”
And she said to him wife his [are] still? you keeping hold on integrity your bless God and die.
10 Nhưng Gióp đáp: “Bà nói năng như người đàn bà khờ dại. Tại sao chúng ta chỉ nhận những điều tốt từ tay Đức Chúa Trời, mà không dám nhận tai họa?” Trong mọi việc này, Gióp đã không làm một điều nào sai trái.
And he said to her as speaks one of the foolish women you are speaking also the good will we accept? from with God and the evil not will we accept? in all this not he sinned Job with lips his.
11 Khi ba bạn của Gióp nghe tin ông bị tai họa, họ liền họp lại rồi từ quê nhà đến thăm để chia buồn và an ủi ông. Ba người đó là Ê-li-pha, người Thê-man, Binh-đát, người Su-a, và Sô-pha, người Na-a-ma.
And they heard [the] three - [the] friends of Job all the evil this that it had come on him and they came each one from own place his Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite and they met by appointment together to come to show sympathy to him and to comfort him.
12 Khi thấy Gióp từ xa, họ không thể nhận ra ông. Họ khóc lớn tiếng, xé áo mình, và ném bụi lên không để bụi rơi xuống đầu họ.
And they lifted up eyes their from a distance and not they recognized him and they lifted up voice their and they wept and they tore each one robe his and they sprinkled dust on heads their the heavens towards.
13 Rồi họ ngồi xuống đất bên cạnh Gióp suốt bảy ngày và bảy đêm. Không ai nói một lời nào với Gióp, vì họ thấy nỗi đau khổ của ông quá lớn.
And they sat with him to the ground seven days and seven nights and not [anyone was] speaking to him a word for they saw that it was great the pain exceedingly.
