Giê-rê-mi-a 34
1 Vua Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, nước Ba-by-lôn, cùng tất cả đội quân từ các vương quốc vua cai trị, tấn công Giê-ru-sa-lem và các thành Giu-đa. Lúc ấy, sứ điệp của Chúa Hằng Hữu đến với Giê-rê-mi:
The word which it came to Jeremiah from with Yahweh and Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon - and all army his and all [the] kingdoms of [the] earth [the] rule of hand his and all the peoples [were] fighting on Jerusalem and on all cities its saying.
2 “Hãy đến với Vua Sê-đê-kia, nước Giu-đa, và nói với vua ấy rằng: ‘Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của Ít-ra-ên, phán: Này, Ta sẽ nạp thành này vào tay vua Ba-by-lôn, và người sẽ phóng hỏa đốt đi.
Thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel go and you will say to Zedekiah [the] king of Judah and you will say to him thus he says Yahweh here I [am] about to give the city this in [the] hand of [the] king of Babylon and he will burn it with fire.
3 Ngươi sẽ không thoát nhưng bị bắt và bị dẫn đến gặp vua Ba-by-lôn mặt đối mặt. Rồi ngươi sẽ bị lưu đày qua nước Ba-by-lôn.
And you not you will escape from hand his for certainly you will be captured and in hand his you will be given and eyes your [the] eyes of [the] king of Babylon they will see and mouth his with mouth your it will speak and Babylon you will go.
4 Nhưng hãy nghe lời Chúa Hằng Hữu phán hứa, hỡi Sê-đê-kia, vua Giu-đa. Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: Ngươi sẽ không tử trận,
Nevertheless hear [the] word of Yahweh O Zedekiah [the] king of Judah thus he says Yahweh on you not you will die by the sword.
5 nhưng sẽ qua đời bình an. Dân chúng sẽ an táng ngươi theo nghi lễ như các tổ phụ ngươi, và các vua trước ngươi. Người ta sẽ chịu tang và than khóc cho ngươi: “Lạy Chúa, chủ của chúng con đã chết!” Đây là lời Ta đã hứa, Chúa Hằng Hữu phán vậy.’”
In peace you will die and like [the] burnings of fathers your the kings former who they were before you so people will burn for you and alas! O lord they will mourn for you for a promise I I have spoken [the] utterance of Yahweh.
6 Tiên tri Giê-rê-mi thuật lại đúng những lời đó cho Vua Sê-đê-kia của Giu-đa.
And he spoke Jeremiah the prophet to Zedekiah [the] king of Judah all the words these in Jerusalem.
7 Lúc ấy, quân Ba-by-lôn tấn công vào Giê-ru-sa-lem, La-ki, và A-xê-ca—là hai thành kiên cố còn lại của Giu-đa chưa bị chiếm đóng.
And [the] army of [the] king of Babylon [were] fighting on Jerusalem and on all [the] cities of Judah which were left against Lachish and against Azekah for they they remained among [the] cities of Judah cities of fortification.
8 Sứ điệp này của Chúa Hằng Hữu ban cho Giê-rê-mi sau khi Vua Sê-đê-kia lập giao ước với toàn dân, công bố trả tự do cho các nô lệ.
The word which it came to Jeremiah from with Yahweh after made the king Zedekiah a covenant with all the people which [was] in Jerusalem to proclaim to them liberty.
9 Vua ra lệnh cho mọi người phải phóng thích nô lệ người Hê-bơ-rơ—cả nam lẫn nữ. Không ai được giữ người Giu-đa làm nô lệ nữa.
To let go everyone [male] slave his and everyone female slave his Hebrew [masc] and Hebrew [fem] free [people] to not to work by them by a Jew brother his anyone.
10 Từ các cấp lãnh đạo đến thường dân đều phải tuân theo lệnh của vua,
And they obeyed all the officials and all the people who they went in the covenant to let go everyone [male] slave his and everyone female slave his free [people] to not to work by them again and they obeyed and they let [them] go.
11 nhưng sau đó họ đổi ý. Họ bắt những người mới được phóng thích trở về làm nô lệ như trước.
And they turned back after thus and they took back the [male] slaves and the female slaves whom they had let go free [people] (and they subjugated them *Q(K)*) for [male] slaves and for female slaves.
12 Vì thế Chúa Hằng Hữu phán cùng Giê-rê-mi về họ:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah from with Yahweh saying.
13 “Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của Ít-ra-ên, phán: Từ nghìn xưa, Ta đã lập giao ước với tổ phụ các ngươi khi Ta giải thoát họ khỏi ách nô lệ của người Ai Cập.
Thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel I I made a covenant with ancestors your on [the] day brought out I them from [the] land of Egypt from a house of slaves saying.
14 Ta đã bảo phải phóng thích tất cả nô lệ người Hê-bơ-rơ trong thời hạn sáu năm. Thế mà tổ phụ các ngươi không tuân hành.
From [the] end of seven years you will let go everyone brother his Hebrew who he will sell himself to you and he will serve you six years and you will let go him a free [person] from with you and not they listened ancestors your to me and not they inclined ear their.
15 Gần đây, các ngươi trở lại làm điều phải trước mặt Ta, vâng theo lệnh. Các ngươi phóng thích đồng hương mình và lập giao ước trước mặt Ta trong Đền Thờ mang Danh Ta.
And you turned back you this day and you did the right in view my by proclaiming liberty everyone to neighbor his and you made a covenant before me in the house which it is called name my on it.
16 Nhưng giờ đây, các ngươi lại nuốt lời thề sỉ nhục Danh Ta bằng cách bắt những người được trả tự do trở lại làm nô lệ như cũ.
And you turned back and you profaned name my and you took back everyone [male] slave his and everyone female slave his whom you had let go free [people] to desire their and you subjugated them to become of you [male] slaves and female slaves.
17 Vì thế, đây là lời Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: Kể từ khi các ngươi không vâng lời Ta, không chịu trả tự do cho người lân cận mình, nên Ta sẽ cho các ngươi được tự do để bị hủy diệt do chiến tranh, đói kém, và dịch bệnh. Các dân tộc trên thế giới sẽ ghê tởm các ngươi.
Therefore thus he says Yahweh you not you have listened to me by proclaiming liberty everyone to brother his and everyone to neighbor his here I [am] about to proclaim to you liberty [the] utterance of Yahweh to the sword to pestilence and to famine and I will make you (into a terror *Q(K)*) to all [the] kingdoms of the earth.
18 Ta sẽ hình phạt những kẻ đã bội giao ước Ta, không thi hành lời thề nguyện long trọng trước mặt Ta, Ta sẽ khiến chúng bị như bò con bị xẻ đôi, rồi đi ngang qua giữa hai phần xẻ đôi ấy.
And I will make the people who have transgressed covenant my who not they have carried out [the] words of the covenant which they made before me the calf which they cut into two [pieces] and they passed between pieces its.
19 Thật vậy, Ta sẽ khiến các ngươi như vậy, dù các ngươi là các quan chức của Giu-đa hay Giê-ru-sa-lem, các quan tòa án, các thầy tế lễ, hay thường dân—vì các ngươi đã bội lời thề của mình.
[the] officials of Judah and [the] officials of Jerusalem the court-officials and the priests and all [the] people of the land who passed between [the] pieces of the calf.
20 Ta sẽ nạp mạng các ngươi cho kẻ thù, và kẻ thù các ngươi sẽ giết sạch các ngươi. Xác các ngươi sẽ làm thức ăn cho chim trời và thú rừng.
And I will give them in [the] hand of enemies their and in [the] hand of [those who] seek life their and it will become corpse their food for [the] bird[s] of the heavens and for [the] animal[s] of the earth.
21 Ta sẽ giao nạp Vua Sê-đê-kia, nước Giu-đa, và các quan chức Giu-đa vào tay quân đội của vua Ba-by-lôn. Và dù vua Ba-by-lôn đã rời khỏi Giê-ru-sa-lem trong một thời gian,
And Zedekiah [the] king of Judah and officials his I will give in [the] hand of enemies their and in [the] hand of [those who] seek life their and in [the] hand of [the] army of [the] king of Babylon which have gone up from on you.
22 Ta sẽ gọi quân Ba-by-lôn quay lại. Họ sẽ tấn công thành này, chiếm đóng và phóng hỏa đốt thành. Ta sẽ khiến chúng tàn phá các thành Giu-đa đến nỗi không còn ai sống tại đó nữa.”
Here I [am] about to give command [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will bring back them to the city this and they will fight on it and they will capture it and they will burn it with fire and [the] cities of Judah I will make a waste from not inhabitant.
