I-sai-a 15
1 Đây là lời tiên tri về Mô-áp: Chỉ trong một đêm, thành A-rơ sẽ bị hủy phá, và thành Kia-mô-áp cũng bị hủy diệt.
The burden of Moab. Because Ar of Moab has been destroyed by night, it is utterly silent. Because the wall of Moab has been destroyed by night, it is utterly silent.
2 Dân của ngươi sẽ xô nhau chạy lên đền tại Đi-bôn để than khóc. Chúng sẽ đến miếu tà thần mà kêu la. Chúng sẽ than van cho số phận của Nê-bô và Mê-đê-ba, tất cả đều cạo đầu và cắt râu.
The house has ascended with Dibon to the heights, in mourning over Nebo and over Medeba. Moab has wailed. There will be baldness on all of their heads, and every beard will be shaven.
3 Chúng mặc bao gai đi thất thểu giữa đường phố. Chúng khóc lóc, đổ nhiều nước mắt trên mỗi mái nhà và nơi phố chợ.
At their crossroads, they have been wrapped with sackcloth. On their rooftops and in their streets, everyone descends, wailing and weeping.
4 Dân thành Hết-bôn và Ê-lê-a-lê sẽ kêu la; tiếng của họ vang dội thấu Gia-hát! Lính chiến Mô-áp đều than khóc thảm thiết. Họ bất lực và run sợ.
Heshbon will cry out with Elealeh. Their voice has been heard as far as Jahaz. Over this, the well-equipped men of Moab wail; each soul will wail to itself.
5 Lòng Ta khóc thương Mô-áp. Người có thế lực trốn về Xoa và Ê-lát-sê-li-sia. Vừa khóc vừa lên Lu-hít. Tiếng thở than vang thấu Hô-rô-na-im.
My heart will cry out to Moab; its bars will cry out even to Zoar, like a three-year-old calf. For they will ascend weeping, by way of the ascent of Luhith. And along the way of Horonaim, they will lift up a cry of contrition.
6 Nước sông Nim-rim khô cạn! Đồng khô cỏ cháy. Vườn tược tiêu điều; không một cây xanh nào sống sót.
For the waters of Nimrim will be desolate, because the plants have withered, and the seedling has failed, and all the greenery has passed away.
7 Người tị nạn vơ vét được chút gì có thể đem theo, rồi vượt qua khe Liễu chạy trốn.
This is in accord with the magnitude of their works and of their visitation. They will lead them to the torrent of the willows.
8 Tiếng khóc đau buồn vang dội khắp đất Mô-áp, từ vùng biên giới đến tận Ê-la-im và Bê-ê-lim.
For an outcry has circulated along the border of Moab; its wailing even to Eglaim, and its clamor even to the well of Elim.
9 Nước sông Đi-môn nhuộm đỏ máu người, nhưng Ta vẫn còn thêm tai họa cho Đi-bôn! Đàn sư tử sẽ rượt theo cắn xé những người sống sót— là những người cố gắng trốn chạy lẫn những người còn sót lại phía sau.
Because the waters of Dibon have been filled with blood, I will place even more upon Dibon: those from Moab who flee the lion, and the survivors of the earth.
