Ê-xê-ki-ên 42
1 Sau đó, người dẫn tôi ra sân ngoài Đền Thờ về hướng bắc. Chúng tôi vào sân ngoài và đến các phòng đối diện với tường phía bắc của sân trong.
Then he took me forth unto the outer court, the way toward the north, —and brought me unto the chamber which was over against the secluded place and which was over against the enclosing-wall, towards the north.
2 Tòa nhà này có lối mở về hướng bắc, dài 53 mét và rộng 26,5 mét.
Facing the length of the hundred cubits, was the entrance of the north, —and the breadth was fifty cubits:
3 Một dãy phòng của sân trong rộng 10,6 mét. Một dãy phòng khác nhìn ra sân ngoài. Hai dãy phòng được xây ba tầng, và đứng ngang mặt nhau.
over against the twenty which pertained to the inner court, and over against the pavement which pertained to the outer court, was gallery facing gallery, by the thirties;
4 Giữa hai dãy phòng có một lối đi rộng 5,3 mét. Nó được kéo dài 53 mét, các cửa đều hướng về hướng bắc.
and before the chambers, was a walk ten cubits in breadth inward, a way of one cubit, —and their entrances were to the north.
5 Phòng ở tầng nhì và tầng ba hẹp hơn tầng dưới vì hai tầng trên đều có lối đi rộng hơn ở dọc dãy phòng.
Now, the highest chambers, were shortened, —because the galleries took away therefrom more than from the lowest or from the middle in structure.
6 Tầng ba không có cột chống đỡ như ở sân ngoài, nên các phòng ở tầng ba phải thu hẹp hơn các phòng tầng dưới và tầng hai.
For three stories, they were; and had not pillars like the pillars of the courts; for this cause, it differed from the lowest and from the middle, from the ground.
7 Một bức tường bên ngoài chạy song song với dãy nhà gần sân ngoài, dài 26,5 mét.
And as for the wall that was without. answering to the chambers, toward the outer court facing the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.
8 Dãy tường cộng với chiều dài của dãy phòng bên ngoài chỉ dài 26,6 mét, trong khi dãy nhà bên trong—phòng hướng về Đền Thờ—dài 53 mét.
For the length of the chambers which pertained to the outer court was fifty cubits, —and lo! in front of the temple a hundred cubits,
9 Có một lối vào ở phía đông, đi từ sân ngoài đến những phòng này.
And from under these chambers, was the entry from the east when one goeth in by them from the outer court.
10 Phía nam của Đền Thờ có hai dãy phòng ở sân trong giữa Đền Thờ và sân ngoài. Những phòng này được sắp xếp như dãy phòng phía bắc.
In the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east facing the secluded place and facing the enclosing wall, were chambers.
11 Cũng có một lối đi giữa hai dãy phòng như cấu trúc ở phía bắc Đền Thờ. Cấu trúc của các phòng có chiều dài và rộng giống như các dãy phòng khác, lối vào và cửa cũng vậy.
And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as was their length, so, was their breadth, —and all their exits were both according to their regulations, and according to their entrances.
12 Các cửa của phòng ở phía nam cũng vậy. Có một cửa ở đầu lối đi. Lối đi chạy song song theo bức tường kéo dài và phía đông cho người ta có thể vào phòng.
And according to the entrances of the chambers which were toward the south, was the entrance at the head of the way—the way in the face of the covered wall, the way toward the east in entering them.
13 Người bảo tôi: “Các dãy phòng này ở phía bắc và phía nam sân Đền Thờ đều là thánh. Tại đó, các thầy tế lễ, tức người dâng sinh tế lên Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ ăn các lễ vật chí thánh. Và vì các phòng này là thánh, nên họ sẽ dùng để cất giữ những tế lễ—lễ chay, lễ chuộc lỗi, và lễ chuộc tội.
Then said he unto me, The chambers of the north the chambers of the south which face the secluded place, they are the holy chambers where the priests who draw near to Yahweh shall eat the most holy things; there, shall they lay the most holy things, and the meal offering and the sin-bearer and the guilt bearer, for the place is holy!
14 Khi các thầy tế lễ rời nơi tôn nghiêm, họ không đi thẳng ra sân ngoài. Họ phải cởi áo mà họ mặc trong lúc thi hành chức vụ, vì những trang phục này là thánh. Họ phải mặc bộ áo khác trước khi vào các khu vực công cộng của tòa nhà.”
When the priests enter them, then shall they not go forth out of the holy place into the outer court, but there, shall they lay their garments wherein they minister for holy they are, and shall put on other garments, and so draw near unto that which pertaineth to the people.
15 Khi người đo xong kích thước bên trong của khu vực Đền Thờ, người dẫn tôi đi ra cửa phía đông để đo khuôn viên.
And when he had ended the measurings of the inner house, then he brought me forth by way of the gate which looked toward the east, — and measured it round about on every side.
16 Người dùng thước đo cạnh phía đông dài 265 mét.
He measured the east side with the measuring reed, —five hundred reeds by the measuring reed round about,
17 Người đo cạnh phía bắc dài 265 mét.
He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, by the measuring reed round about.
18 Người đo cạnh phía nam dài 265 mét,
The south side, measured he, —five hundred reeds, by the measuring reed.
19 và cạnh phía tây cũng dài 265 mét.
He turned about to the west side, —he measured five hundred reeds, by the measuring reed.
20 Vậy khu vực có 265 mét cho mỗi cạnh tường bao chung quanh để phân cách nơi thánh và nơi công cộng.
Toward the four winds, measured he it a wall, had it round about on every side, in length, five hundred, and in breadth five hundred, —to make a separation, between the holy and the common.
