Ê-xê-ki-ên 4
1 “Và bây giờ, hỡi con người, hãy lấy một miếng gạch lớn đặt trước mặt. Rồi vẽ bản đồ thành Giê-ru-sa-lem lên đó.
Thou also sonne of man, take thee a bricke, and lay it before thee, and pourtray vpon it the citie, euen Ierusalem,
2 Trình bày thành phố đang bị bao vây. Xây tường chung quanh nó để không ai có thể trốn thoát. Hãy dựng trại quân thù, đặt bệ tên và cọc nhọn công phá chung quanh thành.
And lay siege against it, and builde a fort against it, and cast a mount against it: set the campe also against it, and lay engins of warre against it rounde about.
3 Lại hãy lấy một chảo sắt đặt giữa con với thành. Con hướng mặt về phía thành, như vậy thành bị vây hãm và con vây hãm thành. Đây sẽ là dấu hiệu cảnh cáo cho nhà Ít-ra-ên.
Moreouer, take an yron pan, and set it for a wall of yron betweene thee and the citie, and direct thy face towarde it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it: this shall be a signe vnto the house of Israel.
4 Bây giờ con nằm nghiêng bên trái và mang lấy tội lỗi nhà Ít-ra-ên. Con nằm như thế bao nhiêu ngày thì mang lấy tội ác của chúng bấy nhiêu.
Sleepe thou also vpon thy left side, and lay the iniquitie of the house of Israel vpon it: according to the nomber of the dayes, that thou shalt sleepe vpon it, thou shalt beare their iniquity.
5 Ta đã định cho con mang tội lỗi của Ít-ra-ên trong 390 ngày—một ngày bằng một năm tội ác của chúng.
For I haue layed vpon thee the yeeres of their iniquitie, according to the nomber of the dayes, euen three hundreth and ninetie dayes: so shalt thou beare the iniquitie of the house of Israel.
6 Sau đó, con phải nằm nghiêng mình bên phải trong 40 ngày—một ngày bằng một năm tội lỗi của Giu-đa.
And when thou hast accomplished them, sleepe againe vpon thy right side, and thou shalt beare the iniquitie of the house of Iudah fourtie dayes: I haue appointed thee a day for a yeere, euen a day for a yeere.
7 Con nằm quay mặt về Giê-ru-sa-lem đang bị vây hãm. Nằm đó với cánh tay trần đưa lên và tiên tri về sự hủy diệt của nó.
Therefore thou shalt direct thy face towarde the siege of Ierusalem, and thine arme shalbe vncouered, and thou shalt prophesie against it.
8 Ta sẽ buộc chặt con lại, để con không xoay trở gì được cho đến khi mãn hạn vây thành.
And beholde, I will lay bands vpon thee, and thou shalt not turne thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the dayes of thy siege.
9 Hãy đi và lấy lúa mì, lúa mạch, đậu, đậu lăng, hạt kê, và đại mạch, rồi trộn chung các thứ bột ấy trong bình. Dùng chúng làm bánh mì để con ăn trong suốt 390 ngày mà con sẽ nằm nghiêng.
Thou shalt take also vnto thee wheate, and barley, and beanes, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessell, and make thee bread thereof according to the nomber of the dayes, that thou shalt sleepe vpon thy side: euen three hundreth and ninetie dayes shalt thou eate thereof.
10 Con chia đều khẩu phần, khoảng 228 gam cho mỗi ngày, và con sẽ ăn theo giờ đã định.
And the meate, whereof thou shalt eate, shalbe by weight, euen twenty shekels a day: and from time to time shalt thou eate thereof.
11 Rồi lường khoảng 0,6 lít nước trong một cái bình cho mỗi ngày, và cũng uống nước theo giờ đã định.
Thou shalt drinke also water by measure, euen the sixt part of an Hin: from time to time shalt thou drinke.
12 Hãy chuẩn bị và ăn bánh này như bánh lúa mạch. Trong khi mọi người đang nhìn, con hãy nướng bánh trên lửa và dùng phân người làm mồi lửa, rồi ăn bánh.”
And thou shalt eate it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it in the dongue that commeth out of man, in their sight.
13 Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: “Dân tộc Ít-ra-ên sẽ ăn bánh ô uế trong các nước dân ngoại mà Ta sẽ đuổi chúng đến!”
And the Lord said, So shall the children of Israel eate their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will cast them.
14 Tôi thưa: “Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao, lẽ nào con phải chịu nhơ bẩn bởi dùng phân người? Vì trước nay con không bao giờ ô uế. Từ khi con còn nhỏ đến nay, con chưa hề ăn súc vật tự nhiên chết, hoặc bị thú vật khác cắn chết. Con cũng chưa hề ăn bất cứ thịt nào mà luật pháp cấm.”
Then said I, Ah, Lord God, beholde, my soule hath not bene polluted: for from my youth vp, euen vnto this houre, I haue not eaten of a thing dead, or torne in pieces, neither came there any vncleane flesh in my mouth.
15 Chúa Hằng Hữu đáp: “Được rồi, con có thể dùng phân bò thay phân người để nướng bánh.”
Then he said vnto me, Loe, I haue giuen thee bullockes dongue for mans dongue, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
16 Rồi Ngài phán bảo tôi: “Hỡi con người, Ta sẽ làm cho Giê-ru-sa-lem khan hiếm thực phẩm. Chúng sẽ lo sợ khi cân bánh ăn. Nước sẽ được lường từng giọt, chúng sẽ uống nước trong nỗi kinh hoàng.
Moreouer, he said vnto me, Sonne of man, beholde, I will breake the staffe of bread in Ierusalem, and they shall eate bread by weight, and with care, and they shall drinke water by measure, and with astonishment.
17 Chúng sẽ thiếu bánh và nước, sững sờ nhìn nhau, và chúng sẽ héo hắt vì bị hình phạt.”
Because that bread and water shall faile, they shalbe astonied one with another, and shall consume away for their iniquitie.
