Ê-xê-ki-ên 27
1 Rồi Chúa Hằng Hữu truyền sứ điệp này cho tôi:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
2 “Hỡi con người, hãy hát bài ai ca về Ty-rơ,
and he seide, Therfor thou, sone of man, take weilyng on Tire.
3 rằng đây là thành phố hải cảng, trung tâm thương mãi của nhiều hải đảo. Hãy truyền cho Ty-rơ sứ điệp của Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao rằng: Hỡi Ty-rơ, ngươi khoe khoang rằng: ‘Ta là thành xinh đẹp toàn hảo!’
And thou schalt seie to Tire, that dwellith in the entryng of the see, to the marchaundie of puplis to many ilis, The Lord God seith these thingis, O! Tire, thou seidist, Y am of perfit fairnesse,
4 Ngươi mở rộng biên cương giữa biển cả. Những người xây dựng đã làm ngươi đến mức tuyệt đẹp.
and Y am set in the herte of the see. Thei that ben in thi coostis that bildiden thee, filliden thi fairnesse;
5 Ngươi giống như chiếc tàu vĩ đại được đóng bằng ván cây tùng Sê-nia. Họ lấy cây bá hương từ Li-ban để làm cột buồm cho ngươi.
thei bildiden thee with fir trees of Sanyr, with alle werkis of boordis of the see; thei token a cedre of the Liban, to make a mast to thee.
6 Họ làm mái chèo cho ngươi từ cây sồi vùng Ba-san. Sàn tàu của ngươi làm bằng gỗ thông ở miền nam đảo Síp, lại cẩn thêm ngà voi cho đẹp.

10 Những người từ Ba Tư, Lút, và Phút đến phục vụ trong đội quân hùng mạnh của ngươi. Họ treo khiên và mũ sắt trên tường ngươi là dấu hiệu vinh quang.

17 Giu-đa và Ít-ra-ên cũng trao đổi hàng hóa với ngươi, nào là lúa mì từ Mi-nít, trái vả, mật ong, dầu ô-liu, và nhựa thơm.

26 “Nhưng kìa! Các tay chèo của ngươi đưa ngươi vào trong bão biển! Và ngươi bị ngọn gió đông đánh đắm giữa lòng đại dương!
Thi rowers brouyten thee in many watris, the south wynd al to-brak thee; in the herte of the see weren thi richessis,
27 Mọi thứ đều mất sạch; của cải và hàng hóa của ngươi, các tay chèo và các hoa tiêu ngươi, các thợ đóng tàu, bọn lái buôn, và quân lính đều tiêu tan. Trong ngày ngươi sụp đổ, mọi người trên tàu đều chìm xuống lòng biển.

32 Chúng đau thương khóc lóc vì ngươi, chúng đồng thanh hát một khúc ca thương: ‘Có thành nào như thành Ty-rơ, giờ đây yên lặng dưới đáy đại dương?
And thei schulen take on thee a song of mourenyng, and thei schulen biweile thee, Who is as Tire, that was doumb in the myddis of the see?
33 Các hàng hóa trao đổi của ngươi làm hài lòng nhiều dân tộc. Mọi vua trên đất đều trở nên giàu có nhờ ngươi.
And thou, Tire, fillidist many puplis in the goyng out of thi marchaundies of the see; in the multitude of thi richessis, and of thi puplis, thou madist riche the kingis of erthe.
34 Bây giờ, ngươi là một con tàu tan nát, chìm sâu trong biển suy vong. Tất cả hàng hóa và đoàn thủy thủ đều chìm xuống đáy.
Now thou art al to-brokun of the see, in the depthis of watris. Thi richessis and al thi multitude that was in the myddis of thee fellen doun;
35 Tất cả dân cư sống dọc các hải đảo, đều bàng hoàng cho số phận tồi tệ của ngươi. Các vua chúa đều khiếp sợ, mặt nhăn nhó không còn giọt máu.
alle the dwelleris of ilis and the kyngis of tho weren astonyed on thee. Alle thei weren smytun with tempest, and chaungiden cheris;
36 Bọn thương gia các nước đều huýt sáo chê bai, vì ngươi đã đến ngày tận số kinh hoàng, đời đời vĩnh viễn diệt vong.’”
the marchauntis of puplis hissiden on thee. Thou art brouyt to nouyt, and thou schalt not be til `in to with outen ende.
