Ê-xê-ki-ên 2
1 Có tiếng phán bảo tôi: “Hỡi con người, hãy đứng dậy, Ta sẽ phán với con.”
And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, stonde on thi feet, and Y schal speke with thee.
2 Thần Chúa nhập vào tôi khi Ngài phán, Ngài khiến tôi đứng lên. Tôi lắng nghe cẩn thận lời Ngài.
And the spirit entride in to me, after that he spak to me, and settide me on my feet. And Y herde oon spekynge to me,
3 Chúa phán: “Hỡi con người, Ta sai con đến với dân tộc Ít-ra-ên, một dân tộc phản loạn đã phản bội chống lại Ta. Chúng và tổ phụ của chúng đã phạm tội với Ta cho đến ngày nay.
and seiynge, Sone of man, Y sende thee to the sones of Israel, to folkis apostatas, `ether goynge a bak fro feith, that yeden awei fro me; the fadris of hem braken my couenaunt til to this dai.
4 Chúng là dân cứng đầu và có tấm lòng chai đá. Nhưng Ta sai con truyền sứ điệp Ta cho chúng nó: ‘Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao phán!’
And the sones ben of hard face, and of vnchastisable herte, to whiche Y sende thee. And thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis;
5 Dù chúng có nghe con hay không—nên nhớ, chúng là dân phản loạn—ít ra chúng cũng biết rằng đã có một tiên tri ở giữa chúng.
if perauenture nameli thei heren, and if perauenture thei resten, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe. And thei schulen wite, that a profete is in the myddis of hem.
6 Con người, đừng sợ chúng nó hay những lời của chúng nó. Đừng sợ hãi dù chúng vây quanh con như gai chông và bò cạp. Đừng kinh hoảng khi đối mặt với chúng, dù chúng là bọn phản loạn.
Therfore thou, sone of man, drede not hem, nether drede thou the wordis of hem; for vnbileueful men and distrieris ben with thee, and thou dwellist with scorpiouns. Drede thou not the wordis of hem, and drede thou not the faces of hem, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.
7 Con hãy truyền sứ điệp của Ta cho dù chúng nghe hay không. Nhưng chúng sẽ không nghe, vì chúng là một dân thật phản loạn!
Therfor thou schalt speke my wordis to hem, if perauenture thei heren, and resten, for thei ben terreris to wraththe.
8 Này, con người, hãy lắng nghe những điều Ta phán với con. Đừng nhập bọn với dân phản loạn ấy. Hãy hả miệng con ra, và ăn vật Ta cho con.”
But thou, sone of man, here what euer thingis Y schal speke to thee; and nyle thou be a terrere to wraththe, as the hows of Israel is a terrere to wraththe. Opene thi mouth, and ete what euer thingis Y yyue to thee.
9 Rồi tôi thấy một bàn tay đưa ra về phía tôi. Tay cầm một cuộn sách,
And Y siy, and lo! an hond was sent to me, in which a book was foldid togidere.
10 đã được Ngài mở ra. Tôi thấy cả hai mặt đầy những bài ca tang chế, những lời kêu than, và lời công bố về sự chết chóc.
And he spredde abrood it bifor me, that was writun with ynne and with outforth. And lamentaciouns, and song, and wo, weren writun ther ynne.
