Phục Truyền Luật Lệ 27
1 Sau đó, Môi-se và các trưởng lão Ít-ra-ên nói cùng toàn dân: “Anh em phải tuân giữ mọi mệnh lệnh tôi truyền ngày nay.
Moses [Drawn out] and the elders of Israel [God prevails] enjoined the people, saying, “Keep all the mitzvot ·instructions· and statutes which I enjoin you today.
2 Ngày qua Sông Giô-đan tiến vào đất nơi Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của anh em, ban cho anh em, anh em phải lấy đá lớn, dùng hồ trét lên
It shall be on the day when you shall pass over the Jordan [Descender] to the land which Adonai your God gives you, that you shall set yourself up great stones, and coat them with plaster.
3 rồi khắc vào các bia đá này mọi luật lệ của Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời cho anh em đất đai phì nhiêu như Ngài đã hứa với các tổ tiên.
You shall write on them all the words of this Torah ·Teaching·, when you have passed over; that you may go in to the land which Adonai your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Adonai, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
4 Và khi qua Giô-đan rồi, hãy dựng các bia đá này trên núi Ê-banh, như tôi đã truyền dặn.
It shall be, when you have crossed over the Jordan [Descender], that you shall set up these stones, which I enjoin you today, on Mount Ebal, and you shall coat them with plaster.
5 Anh em cũng phải xây một bàn thờ cho Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của anh em, bằng đá nguyên tảng, không đục không đẽo.
There you shall build an altar to Adonai your God, an altar of stones. You shall not use any iron tool on them.
6 Trên đó, anh em sẽ dâng lễ thiêu lên Ngài.
You shall build Adonai your God’s altar of uncut stones. You shall offer burnt offerings on it to Adonai your God.
7 Anh em cũng dâng lễ vật tri ân và ăn mừng tại đó trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của anh em.
You shall sacrifice peace offerings, and shall eat there. You shall rejoice before Adonai your God.
8 Nhớ viết tất cả luật lệ lên các bia đá thật rõ ràng.”
You shall write on the stones all the words of this Torah ·Teaching· very plainly.”
9 Môi-se và các thầy tế lễ người Lê-vi cũng kêu gọi toàn dân: “Hỡi Ít-ra-ên, hãy yên lặng, và chú ý! Hôm nay Đức Chúa Trời của anh em được làm dân của Chúa Hằng Hữu rồi.
Moses [Drawn out] and the priests the Levites [Descendants of United with] spoke to all Israel [God prevails], saying, “Be silent, and sh'ma ·hear obey·, Israel [God prevails]! Today you have become the people of Adonai your God.
10 Vậy anh em phải vâng lời Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của anh em, và tuân lệnh Ngài truyền.”
You shall therefore sh'ma ·hear obey· Adonai your God’s voice, and do his instructions and his statutes, which I enjoin you today.”
11 Hôm ấy, Môi-se cũng buộc dân chúng làm điều này:
Moses [Drawn out] enjoined the people the same day, saying,
12 “Khi sang Sông Giô-đan rồi, người thuộc các đại tộc Si-mê-ôn, Lê-vi, Giu-đa, Y-sa-ca, Giô-sép, và Bên-gia-min phải đứng trên Núi Ga-ri-xim để chúc phước.
“These shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you have crossed over the Jordan [Descender]: Simeon [Hearing], Levi [United with], Judah [Praised], Issachar [Hire, Reward], Joseph [May he add], and Benjamin [Son of right hand, Son of south].
13 Còn người thuộc các đại tộc Ru-bên, Gát, A-se, Sa-bu-luân, Đan, và Nép-ta-li phải đứng trên Núi Ê-banh để nguyền rủa.
These shall stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben [See, a son!], Gad [Good fortune], Asher [Happy], Zebulun [Living together], Dan [He judged], and Naphtali [My wrestling].
14 Người Lê-vi sẽ lớn tiếng tuyên bố với toàn dân Ít-ra-ên như sau:
With a loud voice, the Levites [Descendants of United with] shall say to all the men of Israel [God prevails],
15 ‘Người nào làm và thờ hình tượng, là vật gớm ghiếc cho Chúa Hằng Hữu, phải bị nguyền rủa, dù tượng được giấu tại một nơi kín, dù tượng chạm hay tượng đúc cũng vậy.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is the man who makes an engraved or molten image, an abomination to Adonai, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ All the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
16 ‘Ai khinh bỉ cha mẹ mình phải bị nguyền rủa.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or his mother.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
17 ‘Ai dời trụ ranh giới để lấn đất láng giềng phải bị nguyền rủa.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is he who removes his neighbor’s landmark.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
18 ‘Ai làm cho người mù lạc lối phải bị nguyền rủa.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is he who leads the blind astray, intoxicated, unintentional sin ·error· on the road.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
19 ‘Ai xử bất công với người ngoại kiều, cô nhi, hay quả phụ phải bị nguyền rủa.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is he who withholds mishpat ·justice· from the foreigner, orphan, and widow.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
20 ‘Ai ngủ với vợ kế cha mình phải bị nguyền rủa, vì người ấy xúc phạm vợ cha mình.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is he who lies with his father’s wife, because he dishonors his father’s bed.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
21 ‘Ai ngủ với thú vật phải bị nguyền rủa.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is he who lies with any kind of animal.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
22 ‘Ai ngủ với chị em mình, dù chị em cùng cha khác mẹ, cùng mẹ khác cha, phải bị nguyền rủa.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is he who lies with his sister, his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
23 ‘Ai ngủ với bà gia phải bị nguyền rủa.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is he who lies with his mother-in-law.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
24 ‘Ai ám sát người phải bị nguyền rủa.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is he who secretly kills his neighbor.’ ‘All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
25 ‘Ai nhận của hối lộ để giết người vô tội phải bị nguyền rủa.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’
‘Cursed is he who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen ·So be it·.’
26 ‘Ai không tuân hành luật này phải bị nguyền rủa.’ Toàn dân sẽ đáp: ‘A-men.’”
‘Cursed is he who does not uphold the words of this Torah ·Teaching· by doing them.’ ‘All the people shall say, “Amen ·So be it·.’”
