II Sa-mu-ên 22
1 Đa-vít hát bài ca sau đây để ca tụng Chúa Hằng Hữu đã giải cứu mình khỏi tay quân thù:
And Dauid spake the woordes of this song vnto the Lord, what time the Lord had deliuered him out of the handes of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul.
2 “Chúa Hằng Hữu là vầng đá và đồn lũy tôi, Đấng giải cứu tôi;
And he sayd, The Lord is my rocke and my fortresse, and he that deliuereth mee.
3 Chúa Hằng Hữu là vầng đá tôi, nơi tôi được bảo vệ. Chúa là tấm khiên, là sừng cứu tôi. Lạy Đấng che chở tôi! Chính Ngài giải cứu tôi khỏi cơn hung bạo.
God is my strength, in him will I trust: my shielde, and the horne of my saluation, my hie tower and my refuge: my Sauiour, thou hast saued me from violence.
4 Tôi sẽ cầu xin với Chúa Hằng Hữu, là Đấng đáng ca ngợi, lập tức, Ngài ra tay giải cứu khỏi mọi kẻ thù.
I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praysed: so shall I be safe from mine enemies.
5 Lưới tử vong giăng mắc quanh tôi: thác hủy diệt hung hăng gào thét.
For the pangs of death haue compassed me: the floods of vngodlinesse haue made mee afrayd.
The sorowes of the graue compassed mee about: the snares of death ouertooke mee. (Sheol h7585)
7 Trong lúc hiểm nguy, tôi gọi Chân Thần; kêu van Đấng Tự Hữu Hằng Hữu. Từ Thiên Đàng nghe tôi kêu cứu; Chúa Toàn Năng lập tức ra tay:
But in my tribulation did I call vpon the Lord, and crie to my God, and he did heare my voyce out of his temple, and my crie did enter into his eares.
8 Núi rung chuyển, lung lay. Đất bằng nổi địa chấn; vì Chúa đang cơn giận.
Then the earth trembled and quaked: the foundations of the heauens mooued and shooke, because he was angrie.
9 Khói bay từ mũi Chúa; Miệng Ngài phun ngọn lửa. Làm than cháy đỏ hực.
Smoke went out at his nostrels, and consuming fire out of his mouth: coles were kindled thereat.
10 Chúa xé các tầng trời và ngự xuống; chân đạp mây đen dày đặc.
He bowed the heauens also, and came downe, and darkenes was vnder his feete.
11 Chúa cưỡi thiên thần hộ giá bay trên cánh gió tây.
And he rode vpon Cherub and did flie, and hee was seene vpon the winges of the winde.
12 Ngài dùng bóng tối của nước mưa và mây đen mù mịt, làm màn trướng bao quanh Ngài.
And hee made darkenesse a Tabernacle round about him, euen the gatherings of waters, and the cloudes of the ayre.
13 Từ hào quang rực rỡ trên mặt Ngài, than hồng cháy rực.
At the brightnesse of his presence the coles of fire were kindled.
14 Ngài cho sấm sét rền trời; tiếng của Đấng Chí Cao vang dội, tạo mưa đá, lửa hừng, gió thổi.
The Lord thundred from heauen, and the most hie gaue his voyce.
15 Chúa bắn tên, quân thù tán loạn; hàng ngũ vỡ tan vì chớp nhoáng.
He shot arrowes also, and scattered them: to wit, lightning, and destroyed them.
16 Chúa Hằng Hữu quở to, nước biển rút cạn khô, hơi thở tốc địa cầu, phô bày đáy vực.
The chanels also of the sea appeared, euen the foundations of the worlde were discouered by the rebuking of the Lord, and at the blast of the breath of his nostrels.
17 Chúa xuống từ trời cao; kéo tôi khỏi nước sâu.
He sent from aboue, and tooke me: hee drewe me out of many waters.
18 Thoát kẻ thù kiêu ngạo, cường bạo và hỗn hào.
He deliuered me from my strong enemie, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
19 Chúng tấn công con trong ngày gian truân, nhưng Chúa Hằng Hữu đã đưa tay phù hộ.
They preuented me in the day of my calamitie, but the Lord was my stay,
20 Chúa đem tôi vào chỗ an toàn; chỉ vì tôi được Ngài ưa thích.
And brought me foorth into a large place: he deliuered me, because he fauoured me.
21 Chúa thưởng tôi với đức công bằng; báo đền các hành vi trong sạch.
The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousnesse: according to the purenesse of mine handes he recompensed me.
22 Tôi tuân hành điều răn Chúa dạy; không phạm tội để rồi lẩn quất.
For I kept the wayes of the Lord, and did not wickedly against my God.
23 Luật pháp Ngài gần tôi mãi mãi; không một điều nào tôi sơ suất.
For all his lawes were before me, and his statutes: I did not depart therefrom.
24 Trước mặt Đức Chúa Trời, tôi chẳng gì đáng trách; tôi đã giữ tôi khỏi tội lỗi trong đời.
I was vpright also towarde him, and haue kept me from my wickednesse.
25 Chúa luôn tưởng thưởng người ngay. Những ai trong sạch được Ngài ban ân.
Therefore the Lord did reward me according to my righteousnesse, according to my purenesse before his eyes.
26 Chúa thành tín đối với ai trung tín, trọn vẹn đối với ai thanh liêm.
With the godly thou wilt shewe thy selfe godly: with the vpright man thou wilt shew thy selfe vpright.
27 Chúa ban phước cho người thánh sạch, giáng tai ương cho kẻ tham gian.
With the pure thou wilt shewe thy selfe pure, and with the frowarde thou wilt shew thy selfe frowarde.
28 Chúa cứu vớt nhân dân khốn khổ, nhưng hình phạt những kẻ kiêu căng.
Thus thou wilt saue the poore people: but thine eyes are vpon the hautie to humble them.
29 Chúa Hằng Hữu thắp đèn tôi sáng. Đức Chúa Trời luôn dẫn lối soi đàng.
Surely thou art my light, O Lord: and the Lord will lighten my darkenes.
30 Nhờ sức Chúa, tôi dẹp tan quân địch; cùng với Đức Chúa Trời tôi vượt tường thành.
For by thee haue I broken through an hoste, and by my God haue I leaped ouer a wall.
31 Đức Chúa Trời thật muôn phần hoàn hảo. Lời Ngài toàn Chân lý tinh thuần. Chúa vẫn là Tấm Khiên che chở, cho những ai nương náu nơi Ngài.
The way of God is vncorrupt: the word of the Lord is tryed in the fire: he is a shield to all that trust in him.
32 Ngoài Chúa ra, chẳng có Chân Thần. Ai là Vầng Đá an toàn, ngoài Đức Chúa Trời chúng con?
For who is God besides the Lord? and who is mightie, saue our God?
33 Chúa trang bị cho tôi năng lực, Vạch con đường thẳng tắp cho tôi.
God is my strength in battel, and maketh my way vpright.
34 Chân tôi bước vững vàng lanh lẹ, leo lên đỉnh núi cao an toàn. Chúa vạch cho con đường thẳng tắp, đưa tôi vào rạng rỡ vinh quang.
He maketh my feete like hindes feete, and hath set me vpon mine hie places.
35 Chúa luyện tay tôi sành chinh chiến, cánh tay tôi giương nổi cung đồng.
He teacheth mine handes to fight, so that a bowe of brasse is broken with mine armes.
36 Chúa trao tôi tấm khiên cứu rỗi; tay phải Ngài bảo vệ ẵm bồng. Chúa hạ mình nâng tôi lên hàng cao cả.
Thou hast also giuen me the shield of thy saluation, and thy louing kindnesse hath caused me to increase.
37 Trước chân tôi, mở một con đường. Nên tôi chẳng bao giờ vấp ngã.
Thou hast inlarged my steppes vnder me, and mine heeles haue not slid.
38 Tôi đuổi theo, bắt kịp quân thù; chỉ trở về sau khi tận diệt.
I haue pursued mine enemies and destroyed them, and haue not turned againe vntill I had consumed them.
39 Tôi thấy chúng chết nằm la liệt, không tên nào cựa quậy, ngóc đầu.
Yea, I haue consumed them and thrust them through, and they shall not arise, but shall fall vnder my feete.
40 Chúa trang bị con sức mạnh cho chiến trận, khiến quân thù phục dưới chân con.
For thou hast girded me with power to battell, and them that arose against me, hast thou subdued vnder me.
41 Chúa khiến địch quay lưng trốn chạy. Bọn ghét tôi bị đánh tan hoang.
And thou hast giuen me the neckes of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
42 Chúng van xin, không ai tiếp cứu. Chúng kêu cầu, Chúa có nghe chăng?
They looked about, but there was none to saue them, euen vnto the Lord, but he answered them not.
43 Tôi nghiền chúng ra như cám bụi; ném chúng như bùn đất ngoài đồng.
Then did I beate them as small as the dust of the earth: I did treade them flat as the clay of the streete, and did spread them abroad.
44 Chúa cứu con khỏi sự công kích của con người, nâng con lên làm đầu các nước, cho những dân tộc xa lạ thần phục con.
Thou hast also deliuered me from the contentions of my people: thou hast preserued me to be the head ouer nations: the people which I knewe not, doe serue me.
45 Tôi ra lệnh, chúng theo răm rắp; người nước ngoài, gọi dạ, bảo vâng.
Strangers shalbe in subiection to me: assoone as they heare, they shall obey me.
46 Chúng mất hết tinh thần, sức lực bỏ thành trì kiên cố quy hàng.
Strangers shall shrinke away, and feare in their priuie chambers.
47 Chúa Hằng Hữu trường tồn bất biến! Vầng Đá muôn đời được ca vang! Duy Đức Chúa Trời ra tay cứu rỗi, một mình Ngài là Đấng Chân Quang!
Let the Lord liue, and blessed be my strength: and God, euen the force of my saluation be exalted.
48 Chúa công minh báo oán ban ơn; Ngài bắt các dân thần phục tôi.
It is God that giueth me power to reuenge me, and subdue the people vnder me,
49 Cứu thoát tôi hỏi tay quân địch, nâng con lên cao hơn mọi kẻ thù, cứu con khỏi người tàn bạo.
And rescueth me from mine enemies: (thou also hast lift me vp from them that rose against me, thou hast deliuered me from the cruell man.
50 Vì thế nên, tôi hằng ca ngợi, tôn vinh Cứu Chúa giữa các dân; Danh Ngài, tôi hân hoan chúc tụng,
Therefore I will praise thee, O Lord amog the nations, and will sing vnto thy Name)
51 Với người Ngài chọn, Chúa khoan nhân. Lòng từ ái ban ơn cứu rỗi Chúa thương dòng dõi tôi vô ngần, muôn đời chẳng bao giờ dời đổi.”
He is the tower of saluation for his King, and sheweth mercie to his anointed, euen to Dauid, and to his seede for euer.
