II Sa-mu-ên 2
1 Sau đó, Đa-vít cầu hỏi Chúa Hằng Hữu: “Con có nên đến thành nào trong đất Giu-đa không?” Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: “Nên.” Đa-vít hỏi: “Thưa, con phải đến thành nào?” Chúa Hằng Hữu đáp: “Đến Hếp-rôn.”
and to be after so and to ask David in/on/with LORD to/for to say to ascend: rise in/on/with one city Judah and to say LORD to(wards) him to ascend: rise and to say David where? to ascend: rise and to say Hebron [to]
2 Vậy ông đến Hếp-rôn với hai vợ là A-hi-nô-am, người Gít-rê-ên và A-bi-ga-in, người Cát-mên, trước kia là vợ của Na-banh,
and to ascend: rise there David and also two woman: wife his Ahinoam [the] Jezreel and Abigail woman: wife Nabal [the] Carmelite
3 cùng các thuộc hạ và gia đình họ.
and human his which with him to ascend: establish David man: anyone and house: household his and to dwell in/on/with city Hebron
4 Người Giu-đa đến yết kiến Đa-vít rồi xức dầu tôn ông làm vua Giu-đa. Được biết người Gia-be xứ Ga-la-át đã mai táng Sau-lơ,
and to come (in): come human Judah and to anoint there [obj] David to/for king upon house: household Judah and to tell to/for David to/for to say human Jabesh (Jabesh)-gilead which to bury [obj] Saul
5 Đa-vít sai người đến bày tỏ lòng biết ơn: “Xin Chúa Hằng Hữu ban phước lành cho anh em vì đã trung thành với vua, táng xác người.
and to send: depart David messenger to(wards) human Jabesh (Jabesh)-gilead and to say to(wards) them to bless you(m. p.) to/for LORD which to make: do [the] kindness [the] this with lord your with Saul and to bury [obj] him
6 Xin Chúa Hằng Hữu lấy tình thương và sự chân thành đối xử với anh em. Ta cũng sẽ hậu đãi anh em vì việc anh em làm.
and now to make: do LORD with you kindness and truth: faithful and also I to make: do with you [the] welfare [the] this which to make: do [the] word: thing [the] this
7 Bây giờ, anh em mạnh bạo can đảm lên, vì dù Vua Sau-lơ đã mất, nhưng người Giu-đa đã xức dầu cho ta làm vua.”
and now to strengthen: strengthen hand your and to be to/for son: warrior strength for to die lord your Saul and also [obj] me to anoint house: household Judah to/for king upon them
8 Trong lúc đó, Áp-ne, con Nê-rơ, tướng chỉ huy quân đội Sau-lơ, hộ tống một người con Sau-lơ là Ích-bô-sết chạy qua Ma-ha-na-im.
and Abner son: child Ner ruler army which to/for Saul to take: take [obj] Ish-bosheth Ish-bosheth son: child Saul and to pass: bring him Mahanaim
9 Tại đây, Ích-bô-sết được tôn làm vua cai trị các xứ Ga-la-át, A-sua, Gít-rê-ên, Ép-ra-im, Bên-gia-min, và những phần đất còn lại của Ít-ra-ên.
and to reign him to(wards) [the] Gilead and to(wards) [the] Ashurite and to(wards) Jezreel and upon Ephraim and upon Benjamin and upon Israel all his
10 Khi lên ngôi Ích-bô-sết được bốn mươi tuổi và trị vì Ít-ra-ên được hai năm. Chỉ có nhà Giu-đa theo Đa-vít mà thôi.

11 Trong lúc đó Đa-vít cai trị Giu-đa và tiếp tục đóng đô tại Hếp-rôn bảy năm rưỡi.
and to be number [the] day which to be David king in/on/with Hebron upon house: household Judah seven year and six month
12 Một hôm, Áp-ne từ Ma-ha-na-im chỉ huy quân đội của Ích-bô-sết hành quân tới Ga-ba-ôn.
and to come out: come Abner son: child Ner and servant/slave Ish-bosheth Ish-bosheth son: child Saul from Mahanaim Gibeon [to]
13 Giô-áp, con Xê-ru-gia, cũng kéo quân Đa-vít tới địa phương này. Hai bên đóng quân đối diện nhau gần hồ nước Ga-ba-ôn; mỗi phe một bên hồ.
and Joab son: child Zeruiah and servant/slave David to come out: come and to meet them upon pool Gibeon together and to dwell these upon [the] pool from this and these upon [the] pool from this
14 Áp-ne đề nghị với Giô-áp: “Ta cho các thanh niên ra đấu võ làm trò đi!” Giô-áp đồng ý.
and to say Abner to(wards) Joab to arise: rise please [the] youth and to laugh to/for face: before our and to say Joab to arise: rise
15 Vậy mỗi bên chọn mười hai người ra đấu. Mười hai người Bên-gia-min, phe Ích-bô-sết, con trai Sau-lơ ra đối địch với mười hai bộ hạ của Đa-vít.
and to arise: rise and to pass in/on/with number two ten to/for Benjamin and to/for Ish-bosheth Ish-bosheth son: child Saul and two ten from servant/slave David
16 Mỗi người nắm đầu đối thủ, đâm gươm vào hông, tất cả cùng nhau ngã xuống. Từ đó, nơi này ở Ga-ba-ôn mang tên là Cánh Đồng Gươm.
and to strengthen: hold man: anyone in/on/with head neighbor his and sword his in/on/with side neighbor his and to fall: fall together and to call: call by to/for place [the] he/she/it Helkath-hazzurim Helkath-hazzurim which in/on/with Gibeon
17 Sau đó hai bên bắt đầu trận chiến. Cuộc chiến hôm ấy vô cùng ác liệt. Cuối cùng Áp-ne và quân đội Ít-ra-ên bị quân đội Đa-vít đánh bại.
and to be [the] battle severe till much in/on/with day [the] he/she/it and to strike Abner and human Israel to/for face: before servant/slave David
18 Cả ba con trai Xê-ru-gia đều có mặt hôm ấy: Giô-áp, A-bi-sai, và A-sa-ên. A-sa-ên có tài chạy nhanh như linh dương
and to be there three son: child Zeruiah Joab and Abishai and Asahel and Asahel swift in/on/with foot his like/as one [the] gazelle which in/on/with land: wildlife
19 nên đuổi theo sát Áp-ne, không rời một bước.
and to pursue Asahel after Abner and not to stretch to/for to go: went upon [the] right and upon [the] left from after Abner
20 Áp-ne quay lại, hỏi: “A-sa-ên đó phải không?” Ông đáp: “Thưa phải.”
and to turn Abner after him and to say you(m. s.) this Asahel and to say I
21 Áp-ne cánh cáo: “Hãy đi đánh một người khác! Chọn một trong đám thanh niên rồi tước khí giới của hắn.” Nhưng A-sa-ên không chịu rời Áp-ne.
and to say to/for him Abner to stretch to/for you upon right your or upon left your and to grasp to/for you one from [the] youth and to take: take to/for you [obj] spoil his and not be willing Asahel to/for to turn aside: turn aside from after him
22 Áp-ne cảnh cáo: “Đừng theo ta nữa. Ta không muốn giết ngươi đâu, vì nếu thế làm sao còn nhìn mặt anh ngươi là Giô-áp được?”
and to add: again still Abner to/for to say to(wards) Asahel to turn aside: turn aside to/for you from after me to/for what? to smite you land: soil [to] and how? to lift: kindness face: kindness my to(wards) Joab brother: male-sibling your
23 Nhưng A-sa-ên vẫn không chịu nghe, nên bị Áp-ne lấy cán giáo đâm vào bụng, xuyên thấu lưng. A-sa-ên ngã xuống và chết tại đó. Mọi người khi đến chỗ A-sa-ên nằm đều dừng lại.
and to refuse to/for to turn aside: turn aside and to smite him Abner in/on/with after [the] spear to(wards) [the] belly and to come out: come [the] spear from after him and to fall: fall there and to die (underneath: stand him *Q(K)*) and to be all [the] to come (in): come to(wards) [the] place which to fall: fall there Asahel and to die and to stand: stand
24 Nhưng Giô-áp và A-bi-sai tiếp tục đuổi theo Áp-ne. Khi họ đến đồi A-ma gần Ghi-a, trên đường đi hoang mạc Ga-ba-ôn, mặt trời bắt đầu lặn.
and to pursue Joab and Abishai after Abner and [the] sun to come (in): come and they(masc.) to come (in): come till hill Ammah which upon face: before Giah way: road wilderness Gibeon
25 Lúc ấy, lính Bên-gia-min theo Áp-ne bắt đầu chấn chỉnh lại hàng ngũ, trấn giữ đỉnh đồi này.
and to gather son: descendant/people Benjamin after Abner and to be to/for band one and to stand: stand upon head: top hill one
26 Áp-ne nói vọng xuống cho Giô-áp nghe: “Gươm đao tiếp tục cho đến bao giờ? Kết quả cuộc tàn sát này sẽ thảm hại cay đắng đến đâu? Đến bao giờ ông mới thu quân không đuổi theo anh em mình nữa?”
and to call: call out Abner to(wards) Joab and to say to/for perpetuity to eat sword not to know for bitter to be in/on/with last and till how not to say to/for people to/for to return: turn back from after brother: male-sibling their
27 Giô-áp đáp: “Tôi thề có Đức Chúa Trời, nếu ông không yêu cầu, chúng tôi sẽ tiếp tục cuộc săn đuổi này cho đến sáng mai.”
and to say Joab alive [the] God for unless to speak: speak for then from [the] morning to ascend: rise [the] people: soldiers man: anyone from after brother: male-sibling his
28 Giô-áp thổi kèn và quân ông không đuổi theo quân Ít-ra-ên nữa. Trận chiến chấm dứt.
and to blow Joab in/on/with trumpet and to stand: stand all [the] people: soldiers and not to pursue still after Israel and not to add: again still to/for to fight
29 Áp-ne dẫn quân đi suốt đêm, vượt Thung Lũng A-ra-ba, băng sông Giô-đan, qua miền Bít-rôn, và về đến Ma-ha-na-im.
and Abner and human his to go: went in/on/with Arabah all [the] night [the] he/she/it and to pass [obj] [the] Jordan and to go: walk all [the] Bithron and to come (in): come Mahanaim
30 Giô-áp kiểm kê quân số, thấy phe Đa-vít chỉ thiếu 19 người cộng với A-sa-ên.
and Joab to return: return from after Abner and to gather [obj] all [the] people and to reckon: missing from servant/slave David nine ten man and Asahel Asahel
31 Nhưng phía Áp-ne có đến 360 người bị giết, tất cả là người Bên-gia-min.
and servant/slave David to smite from Benjamin and in/on/with human Abner three hundred and sixty man to die
32 Giô-áp và thuộc hạ đem xác A-sa-ên về Bết-lê-hem, chôn vào khu mộ của cha ông, rồi đi thâu đêm và về đến Hếp-rôn vừa lúc rạng đông.
and to lift: raise [obj] Asahel and to bury him in/on/with grave father his which Bethlehem Bethlehem and to go: walk all [the] night Joab and human his and to light to/for them in/on/with Hebron
