II Các Vua 6
1 Ngày nọ, các môn đệ của tiên tri thưa với Ê-li-sê: “Thưa thầy, nhà chúng ta chật hẹp quá.
And they said [the] sons of the prophets to Elisha here! please the place where we [are] dwelling there before you it is [too] cramped for us.
2 Xin cho chúng con đến bên Sông Giô-đan đốn gỗ, cất tại đó một cái nhà để ở.” Ê-li-sê đồng ý.
Let us go please to the Jordan and let us take from there each a beam one and let us make for ourselves there a place to dwell there and he said go.
3 Một môn đệ thưa: “Xin thầy cùng đi với chúng con.” Ông đáp: “Được, ta cùng đi.”
And he said the one be willing please and go with servants your and he said I I will go.
4 Họ đến bên sông Giô-đan, bắt đầu đốn cây.
And he went with them and they came the Jordan towards and they cut down trees.
5 Đang đốn, lưỡi rìu của một người sút cán văng xuống nước. Người ấy kêu lên: “Thầy ơi! Rìu này con mượn của người ta!”
And it was the one [was] making fall the beam and the iron it fell into the water and he cried out and he said alas! O lord my and it [was] asked.
6 Người của Đức Chúa Trời hỏi: “Rơi chỗ nào?” Môn đệ chỉ nơi nó văng xuống. Ê-li-sê chặt một khúc gỗ, ném xuống nơi ấy, lưỡi rìu nổi lên.
And he said [the] man of God where? did it fall and he showed him the place and he cut off a piece of wood and he threw [it] there towards and he caused to float the iron.
7 Ê-li-sê bảo: “Nhặt lên.” Môn đệ ấy với tay nắm lấy lưỡi rìu.
And he said lift [it] yourself and he stretched out hand his and he took it.
8 Khi chiến tranh xảy ra giữa A-ram với Ít-ra-ên, vua A-ram bàn với các tướng: “Ta sẽ phục quân tại địa điểm này, địa điểm kia.”
And [the] king of Aram he was fighting against Israel and he consulted servants his saying [will be] to a place of a certain one a certain one encampments my.
9 Nhưng lập tức người của Đức Chúa Trời liền sai người đến dặn vua Ít-ra-ên: “Đừng đi đến địa điểm ấy, vì có quân A-ram mai phục.”
And he sent [the] man of God to [the] king of Israel saying take care from passing by the place this for there Aram [is] descending.
10 Vua Ít-ra-ên sai trinh sát đến nơi dò xét, quả đúng như lời người của Đức Chúa Trời. Tiên tri Ê-li-sê đã cứu mạng vua Ít-ra-ên nhiều lần như thế.
And he sent [the] king of Israel to the place which he had spoken to him [the] man of God (and he warned him *Q(K)*) and he took care there not one [time] and not two [times].
11 Vua A-ram thắc mắc lắm, gọi các tướng đến, hỏi: “Ai đã tiết lộ cho vua Ít-ra-ên biết?”
And it was enraged [the] heart of [the] king of Aram on the matter this and he called to servants his and he said to them ¿ not will you tell to me who? from [those] who [belong] to us [is] to [the] king of Israel.
12 Một tướng đáp: “Không ai trong chúng tôi cả. Chỉ có Ê-li-sê, là tiên tri Ít-ra-ên, cho vua ấy biết, ngay cả những điều vua nói riêng trong phòng ngủ mình!”
And he said one from servants his no O lord my the king for Elisha the prophet who [is] in Israel he tells to [the] king of Israel the words which you speak in [the] chamber of lying down your.
13 Vua A-ram ra lệnh: “Đi tìm xem người ấy ở đâu để ta cho quân đến bắt.” Khi nhận được tin Ê-li-sê đang ở Đô-than,
And he said go and see where? [is] he so I may send so I may capture him and it was told to him saying there! in Dothan.
14 vua sai một đạo quân hùng hậu ra đi, đem theo nhiều xe và ngựa. Đạo quân đến Đô-than vào lúc trời tối và bao vây thành.
And he sent there towards horses and chariotry and an army massive and they came night and they surrounded the city.
15 Sáng hôm sau, người đầy tớ của Đức Chúa Trời thức dậy sớm, đi ra thấy quân lính, ngựa, xe vây chặt quanh thành. Đầy tớ này vội quay về, cuống cuồng: “Thầy ơi! Chúng ta làm sao đây?”
And he rose early [the] servant of [the] man of God to arise and he went out and there! an army [was] surrounding the city and horse[s] and chariotry and he said servant his to him alas! O lord my how? will we do.
16 Ê-li-sê ôn tồn bảo: “Con đừng sợ. Lực lượng bên ta đông hơn bên chúng.”
And he said may not you be afraid for [are] many [those] who [are] with us more than [those] who [are] them.
17 Nói xong, Ê-li-sê cầu nguyện: “Lạy Chúa xin mở mắt cho nó thấy.” Chúa mở mắt cho người thanh niên và anh thấy vô số ngựa và xe bằng lửa vây quanh Ê-li-sê.
And he prayed Elisha and he said O Yahweh open please eyes his so he may see and he opened Yahweh [the] eyes of the servant and he saw and there! the hill it was full horses and chariotry of fire around Elisha.
18 Khi ấy, Ê-li-sê cầu nguyện: “Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, xin làm cho họ mù.” Chúa Hằng Hữu nhậm lời.
And they came down to him and he prayed Elisha to Yahweh and he said strike please the nation this with sudden blindness and he struck them with sudden blindness according to [the] word of Elisha.
19 Ê-li-sê nói với quân A-ram: “Đây không phải là đường các ông muốn đi, thành các ông muốn đến. Cứ theo tôi, tôi sẽ dẫn các ông đến người các ông tìm.” Và ông dẫn họ đến Sa-ma-ri.
And he said to them Elisha not this [is] the way and not this [is] the city come after me so let me lead you to the man whom you seek! and he led them Samaria towards.
20 Khi họ vào trong thành rồi, Ê-li-sê cầu nguyện: “Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, bây giờ xin mở mắt cho họ thấy.” Chúa Hằng Hữu nhậm lời ông. Họ mở mắt ra, thấy đang ở giữa Sa-ma-ri.
And it was when came they Samaria and he said Elisha O Yahweh open [the] eyes of these [men] so they may see and he opened Yahweh eyes their and they saw and there! [they were] in [the] midst of Samaria.
21 Thấy vậy, vua Ít-ra-ên hỏi Ê-li-sê: “Thưa cha, có nên đánh giết họ không?”
And he said [the] king of Israel to Elisha when saw he them ¿ will I strike [them] down will I strike [them] down? O father my.
22 Tiên tri đáp: “Không. Khi bắt được tù binh vua có giết không? Hãy dọn bánh cho họ ăn, nước cho họ uống, rồi tha họ về.”
And he said not you must strike [them] down ¿ [those] whom you have taken captive by sword your and by bow your [are] you about to strike down put food and water before them so they may eat and they may drink and they may go to master their.
23 Vua Ít-ra-ên mở tiệc đãi họ, và khi ăn uống xong, họ được thả về với vua A-ram. Từ đó, quân A-ram không còn quấy nhiễu đất Ít-ra-ên như trước nữa.
And he gave a feast for them a feast great and they ate and they drank and he let go them and they went to master their and not they repeated again [the] marauding bands of Aram to come in [the] land of Israel.
24 Tuy nhiên về sau, Vua Bên Ha-đát, nước A-ram, động viên toàn lực, kéo lên vây Sa-ma-ri.
And it was after thus and he gathered Ben Hadad [the] king of Aram all army his and he went up and he laid siege on Samaria.
25 Thành Sa-ma-ri bị nạn đói trầm trọng, đến cả một cái đầu lừa cũng bán được tám mươi miếng bạc, chừng 0,3 lít phân bồ câu bán năm miếng bạc.
And it was a famine great in Samaria and there! [they were] laying siege on it until was [the] head of a donkey for eighty silver and [the] fourth part of the kab (quano *Q(K)*) for five silver.
26 Một hôm, khi vua Ít-ra-ên đang đi thị sát trên thành, có một người đàn bà kêu lên: “Cứu tôi với, vua ơi!”
And he was [the] king of Israel passing by on the wall and a woman she cried out to him saying save! O lord my the king.
27 Vua hỏi: “Nếu Chúa Hằng Hữu không cứu, ta cứu sao được? Vì ta đâu còn đập lúa, ép nho để có mà giúp chị?”
And he said may not he save you Yahweh from where? will I save you ¿ from the threshing floor or? from the wine-press.
28 Vua tiếp: “Chị có việc gì đó?” Người đàn bà thưa: “Chị này đề nghị ăn thịt con tôi ngày trước, qua ngày sau sẽ ăn thịt con chị ta.
And he said to her the king what? [is] to you and she said the woman this she said to me give son your so we may eat him this day and son my we will eat tomorrow.
29 Chúng tôi đã nấu thịt con tôi ăn rồi; qua ngày sau tôi đòi ăn con chị, nhưng chị ấy đem giấu biệt.”
And we cooked son my and we ate him and I said to her on the day other give son your so we may eat him and she had hidden son her.
30 Nghe xong, vua xé áo mình. Vì vua đang đứng trên thành, nên mọi người thấy vua có mặc vải bố bên trong.
And it was when heard the king [the] words of the woman and he tore clothes his and he [was] passing by on the wall and it saw the people and there! sackcloth [was] on flesh his from inside.
31 Vua thề: “Xin Đức Chúa Trời trừng phạt ta nếu ta không chém đầu Ê-li-sê hôm nay.”
And he said thus may he do to me God and thus may he add if it will remain standing [the] head of Elisha [the] son of Shaphat on him this day.
32 Đang lúc Ê-li-sê ngồi trong nhà với các trưởng lão, vua sai người đến tìm ông. Trước khi sứ giả đến nơi, Ê-li-sê nói với các trưởng lão: “Con của tên sát nhân sai người đến chém đầu tôi. Khi người ấy đến, chúng ta đóng cửa lại, đừng cho vào, vì có tiếng chân chủ người ấy đi theo sau.”
And Elisha [was] sitting in house his and the elders [were] sitting with him and he sent a man from to before him before he came the messenger to him and he - he said to the elders ¿ do you see that he has sent [the] son of the murderer this to remove head my look - when comes the messenger shut the door and you will push him with the door ¿ not [is] [the] sound of [the] feet of master his after him.
33 Khi ông còn đang nói, sứ giả đến, vua cũng đến và than trách: “Chúa Hằng Hữu đã giáng họa này. Ta còn trông đợi Chúa Hằng Hữu làm chi!”
Still he [was] speaking with them and there! the messenger [was] coming down to him and he said here! this the calamity [is] from with Yahweh why? will I wait for Yahweh still.
