II Sử Ký 31
1 Khi lễ kết thúc, tất cả người Ít-ra-ên có mặt tại Giê-ru-sa-lem đều kéo ra các thành Giu-đa, Bên-gia-min, Ép-ra-im, và Ma-na-se đập phá các trụ thờ, các thần tượng A-sê-ra, các miếu tà thần, và bàn thờ. Sau đó, người Ít-ra-ên trở về nhà mình.
And when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and broke in pieces the statues, and cut down the groves, and pulled down the high-places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, and in Ephraim and Menasseh, until they had made an end of them all. Then returned all the children of Israel every man to his possession, to their own cities.
2 Ê-xê-chia tổ chức các thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi thành những phân ban để lo việc dâng tế lễ thiêu và tế lễ bình an, và lo việc thờ phượng, cảm tạ, và ngợi tôn Chúa Hằng Hữu tại các cổng Đền Thờ.
And Hezekiah stationed the divisions of the priests and the Levites after their divisions, every man according to his service, of the priests and the Levites, for burnt-offerings and for peace-offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the camps of the Lord.
3 Vua cũng ấn định số tài sản vua dâng vào việc tế lễ hằng ngày trong Đền Thờ, như các tế lễ thiêu dâng buổi sáng và buổi chiều; dâng ngày lễ Sa-bát, ngày trăng mới, và các ngày lễ lớn, như Luật Pháp Chúa Hằng Hữu đã ghi.
The king also gave a portion from his own property for the burnt-offerings, [namely, ] for the morning and evening burnt-offerings, and the burnt-offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new-moons, and for the appointed feasts, as it is written in the law of the Lord.
4 Vua cũng bảo dân chúng Giê-ru-sa-lem dâng hiến phần mười cho các thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi, để họ dâng trọn mình phục vụ theo như Luật Pháp Chúa Hằng Hữu đã ghi.
Moreover he said to the people, to those who dwelt in Jerusalem, to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, in order that they might hold firmly to the law of the Lord.
5 Người Ít-ra-ên lập tức hưởng ứng và đem dâng rất nhiều nông sản đầu mùa, ngũ cốc, rượu, dầu, mật, và các sản phẩm khác. Họ cũng dâng rất dồi dào phần mười mọi lợi tức.
And when the matter was spread abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the first-fruits of corn, of the new wine, and of oil, and of honey, and of all the products of the field: and the tithe of all things did they bring [likewise] in abundance.
6 Người Ít-ra-ên và Giu-đa, cùng những người ở khắp các thành Giu-đa, cũng dâng phần mười về các bầy bò, bầy chiên và phần mười các phẩm vật biệt riêng ra thánh cho Chúa Hằng Hữu, là Đức Chúa Trời của họ, và họ chất thành từng đống.
And as for the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were hallowed unto the Lord their God, and gave [them] by heaps.
7 Họ bắt đầu đem phẩm vật đến dâng từ tháng ba, mãi đến tháng bảy mới xong.
In the third month did they begin to lay the foundation of the heaps, and in the seventh month did they finish them.
8 Vua Ê-xê-chia và các quan viên thấy các phẩm vật ấy, bèn ngợi tôn Chúa Hằng Hữu và chúc phước cho con dân Ít-ra-ên của Ngài.
And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the Lord, and his people Israel.
9 Ê-xê-chia hỏi các thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi: “Tất cả phẩm vật này từ đâu đến?”
Then made Hezekiah inquiry of the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
10 Thầy thượng tế A-xa-ria, thuộc họ Xa-đốc, tâu rằng: “Từ khi toàn dân bắt đầu dâng lễ vật vào Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu, chẳng những chúng tôi đủ ăn mà cũng còn dư lại rất nhiều. Chúa Hằng Hữu đã ban phước dồi dào cho dân Ngài, và đây là các phẩm vật còn thừa.”
Then spoke to him 'Azaryahu the chief priest of the house of Zadok, and said, Since it was begun to bring the heave-offerings into the house of the Lord, there hath been enough to eat, and to leave in great abundance; for the Lord hath blessed his people: and that which is left is this great mass.
11 Ê-xê-chia ra lệnh dọn các phòng chứa trong Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu. Khi đã dọn xong
Then ordered Hezekiah to prepare chambers in the house of the Lord: and they prepared them.
12 họ trung tín mang các lễ vật, phần mười, và các vật thánh vào Đền Thờ. Cô-na-nia, người Lê-vi, được cử chức cai quản kho tàng, em ông là Si-mê-i làm phụ tá.
And they brought in the heave-offerings, and the tithes, and the sanctified things, in faithfulness: and over them were appointed the ruler Conanyahu the Levite, and Shim'i his brother the second in rank.
13 Những giám sát viên dưới quyền của họ gồm Giê-hi-ên, A-ra-ria, Na-hát, A-sa-ên, Giê-ri-mốt, Giô-xa-bát, Ê-li-ên, Gít-ma-kia, Ma-hát, và Bê-na-gia. Những người này đều do Vua Ê-xê-chia và A-xa-ria, người cai quản Đền Thờ Đức Chúa Trời, bổ nhiệm.
And Jechiel, and 'Azazyahu, and Nachath, and 'Assahel, and Jerimoth. and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Yissmachyahu, and Machath, and Benayahu, were overseers under the supervision of Conanyahu and Shim'i his brother, by the appointment of king Hezekiah, and 'Azazyahu the ruler of the house of God.
14 Cô-rê, con Im-na, người Lê-vi, người gác cổng tại Cửa Đông, giữ nhiệm vụ phân phối các lễ vật tự nguyện cho Đức Chúa Trời, các phẩm vật, và các lễ vật biệt riêng cho Chúa Hằng Hữu.
And Kore the son of Yimnah the Levite, the gatekeeper at the east side. was over the freewill-offerings of God, to give [to him] the heave-offerings of the Lord, and the most holy things.
15 Cô-rê có các phụ tá trung tín là Ê-đen, Min-gia-min, Giê-sua, Sê-ma-gia, A-ma-ria, và Sê-ca-nia. Họ phân phối những phẩm vật cho gia đình các thầy tế lễ trong thành, tùy theo ban thứ của họ, phẩm vật được chia đồng đều cho cả già lẫn trẻ.
And under his supervision were 'Eden, and Minyamin, and Jeshua', and Shema-yahu, Amaryahu, and Shechanyahu, in the cities of the priests, in faithfulness, to give to their brethren after the divisions, equally to the great as to the small;
16 Họ chia phẩm vật cho những người nam từ ba tuổi trở lên, không kể ban thứ của họ trong gia phả. Phẩm vật cũng được chia cho những ai hằng ngày vào Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu phục vụ theo ban thứ của mình.
Besides [these] to those recorded by their genealogies of males, from three years old and upward, of all that entered into the house of the Lord, the daily portion on its day, for their service in their charges according to their divisions.
17 Họ chia phẩm vật cho các thầy tế lễ có tên trong gia phả theo từng tộc họ, và người Lê-vi từ hai mươi tuổi trở lên được ghi danh theo công việc và ban thứ.
And likewise to the priests recorded by their genealogies after their family divisions, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges by their divisions;
18 Thực phẩm cũng được phân phát cho các gia đình có tên trong gia phả, bao gồm con nhỏ, vợ, con trai, và con gái. Vì họ đã trung tín trong việc thánh hóa mình.
And to those recorded by their genealogies of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, of all the assembly; for in their faithfulness they devoted themselves in the sanctuary.
19 Trong mỗi thành dành cho các thầy tế lễ, con cháu A-rôn, một thầy được chỉ định phân phối thực phẩm và vật dụng cho các thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi có tên trong gia phả.
Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, who were in the fields of the open districts of their cities, in each and every city, there were men, expressed by name, who had to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were recorded by their genealogies among the Levites.
20 Vua Ê-xê-chia giải quyết thỏa đáng các vấn đề trong cả nước Giu-đa cách công minh chân thật trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của vua.
And the like did Hezekiah in all Judah, and he did what is good and right and true before the Lord his God.
21 Trong tất cả công tác từ việc phục vụ trong Đền Thờ Đức Chúa Trời, đến các vấn đề pháp luật và điều răn, Ê-xê-chia đều hết lòng tìm cầu Đức Chúa Trời, nên được thành công mỹ mãn.
And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he acted with all his heart, and prospered.
