II Sử Ký 30

1 Vua Ê-xê-chia gửi thông điệp cho toàn dân Giu-đa và Ít-ra-ên, vua cũng viết thư cho người Ép-ra-im và Ma-na-se. Vua mời họ đến Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu tại Giê-ru-sa-lem để giữ lễ Vượt Qua cho Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của Ít-ra-ên.

And he sent Hezekiah to all Israel and Judah and also letters he wrote to Ephraim and Manasseh to come to [the] house of Yahweh in Jerusalem to observe a passover to Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

2 Vua và các quan viên cùng toàn thể dân chúng Giê-ru-sa-lem bàn định giữ lễ Vượt Qua vào tháng hai.

And he had taken counsel the king and officials his and all the assembly in Jerusalem to observe the passover in the month second.

3 Họ không thể giữ lễ đúng thời gian đã định vì số thầy tế lễ dọn mình nên thánh chưa đủ và toàn dân cũng không kịp về Giê-ru-sa-lem.

For not they had been able to observe it at the time that for the priests not they had consecrated themselves to [what] [was] sufficiency and the people not they had gathered to Jerusalem.

4 Vua và toàn dân thấy việc giữ ngày lễ Vượt Qua này là đúng.

And it was pleasing the thing in [the] eyes of the king and in [the] eyes of all the assembly.

5 Vậy họ ra thông báo khắp Ít-ra-ên, từ hướng nam của Bê-e-sê-ba đến hướng bắc của Đan, mời toàn dân về Giê-ru-sa-lem dự lễ Vượt Qua của Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của Ít-ra-ên. Từ nhiều năm qua, toàn dân không giữ lễ như Luật Pháp đã ghi.

And they appointed a word to cause to pass a proclamation in all Israel from Beer Sheba and to Dan to come to observe a passover to Yahweh [the] God of Israel in Jerusalem for not to multitude they had done according to [what] is written.

6 Các sứ giả đem thông điệp này theo lệnh Ê-xê-chia cho cả Ít-ra-ên và Giu-đa. Thư nói rằng: “Toàn dân Ít-ra-ên! Hãy quay về với Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của Áp-ra-ham, Y-sác, và Ít-ra-ên, Chúa sẽ đem về nước các anh em chúng ta còn sống sót sau cuộc lưu đày của vua A-sy-ri.

And they went the runners with letters from [the] hand of the king and officials his in all Israel and Judah and according to [the] command of the king saying O people of Israel return to Yahweh [the] God of Abraham Isaac and Israel so he may return to the escaped remnant which remains to you from [the] hand of [the] kings of Assyria.

7 Đừng giống như tổ phụ và anh em mình mà phản nghịch Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của tổ phụ ta, để rồi bị Ngài hình phạt, như các ngươi đã thấy.

And may not you be like fathers your and like brothers your who they acted unfaithfully against Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their and he made them into a horror just as you [are] seeing.

8 Bây giờ, đừng ngoan cố như người xưa, nhưng hãy đưa tay hướng về Chúa Hằng Hữu. Hãy về Đền Thờ mà Chúa đã biệt riêng ra thánh đời đời. Hãy thờ phượng Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của các ngươi, thì cơn thịnh nộ đáng sợ của Ngài sẽ xây khỏi chúng ta.

Now may not you harden neck your like fathers your give a hand to Yahweh and come to sanctuary his which he has consecrated for ever and serve Yahweh God your so may it turn back from you [the] burning of anger his.

9 Vì khi các ngươi quay về với Chúa Hằng Hữu, anh em và con cái các ngươi sẽ được quân thù thương xót và cho hồi hương. Vì Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của chúng ta đầy nhân từ và thương xót. Ngài sẽ không ngoảnh mặt khỏi chúng ta nếu chúng ta quay về với Ngài.”

For when return you to Yahweh relatives your and children your to compassion before captors their and to return to the land this for [is] gracious and compassionate Yahweh God your and not he will turn aside face from you if you will turn back to him.

10 Các sứ giả chạy từ thành này qua thành khác, đi khắp xứ Ép-ra-im, Ma-na-se, đến tận Sa-bu-luân. Nhưng đa số dân chúng chế giễu và cười nhạo họ.

And they were the runners passing from city - to [the] city in [the] land of Ephraim and Manasseh and to Zebulun and people were laughing on them and mocking them.

11 Tuy nhiên, cũng có vài người trong A-se, Ma-na-se, và Sa-bu-luân hạ mình xuống và đến Giê-ru-sa-lem.

Nevertheless men from Asher and Manasseh and from Zebulun they humbled themselves and they came to Jerusalem.

12 Khắp nước Giu-đa, tay Đức Chúa Trời khiến toàn dân đồng tâm vâng lệnh của vua và các quan viên truyền ra theo lời của Chúa Hằng Hữu.

Also on Judah it was [the] hand of God to give to them a heart one to do [the] command of the king and the officials by [the] word of Yahweh.

13 Một đoàn dân rất đông tập họp tại Giê-ru-sa-lem để giữ lễ Bánh Không Men vào tháng hai.

And they gathered Jerusalem a people numerous to observe [the] festival of the unleavened bread in the month second an assembly for multitude exceedingly.

14 Họ sốt sắng tháo gỡ các bàn thờ tế lễ và bàn thờ dâng hương cho các tà thần tại Giê-ru-sa-lem, đem vứt bỏ dưới Thung lũng Kít-rôn.

And they arose and they removed the altars which [were] in Jerusalem and all the incense altars they removed and they threw [them] to [the] wadi of Kidron.

15 Họ giết con chiên lễ Vượt Qua ngày mười bốn tháng hai. Các thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi thấy lòng sốt sắng của toàn dân cũng phải tự thẹn. Họ liền biệt mình nên thánh và đem các tế lễ thiêu vào Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu.

And they slaughtered the passover on [day] four-teen of the month second and the priests and the Levites they were ashamed and they consecrated themselves and they brought burnt offerings [the] house of Yahweh.

16 Mỗi thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi thi hành nhiệm vụ đã phân công cho mình tại Đền Thờ theo Luật Pháp Môi-se, người của Đức Chúa Trời. Các người Lê-vi mang máu thánh đến các thầy tế lễ để rảy trên bàn thờ.

And they stood at place their according to custom their according to [the] law of Moses [the] man of God the priests [were] sprinkling the blood from [the] hand of the Levites.

17 Trong dân chúng, có một số người chưa dọn mình thánh sạch nên người Lê-vi phải dâng một sinh tế Vượt Qua cho họ để thánh hóa họ cho Chúa Hằng Hữu.

For many among the assembly who not they had consecrated themselves and the Levites [were] over [the] slaughter of the passovers for every not clean to consecrate [them] to Yahweh.

18 Trong đoàn dân đến từ Ép-ra-im, Ma-na-se, Y-sa-ca, và Sa-bu-luân có nhiều người chưa thanh tẩy chính mình. Nhưng Vua Ê-xê-chia cầu thay cho họ nên họ được phép ăn lễ Vượt Qua, dù điều này trái với Luật Pháp. Ê-xê-chi-ên cầu nguyện: “Cầu xin Chúa Hằng Hữu là Đấng nhân từ tha tội cho

For [the] greater part of the people many from Ephraim and Manasseh Issachar and Zebulun not they had purified themselves for they ate the passover with not according to [what] is written for he had prayed Hezekiah on them saying Yahweh good may he make atonement for.

19 những người có lòng tìm kiếm Chúa Hằng Hữu, là Đức Chúa Trời của tổ phụ họ, mặc dù họ chưa kịp tẩy uế theo nghi thức.”

Every [one who] heart his he has directed to seek God - Yahweh [the] God of ancestors his and not according to [the] purification of the holy place.

20 Chúa Hằng Hữu nhậm lời cầu nguyện của Ê-xê-chia và không hình phạt họ.

And he listened Yahweh to Hezekiah and he healed the people.

21 Người Ít-ra-ên có mặt tại Giê-ru-sa-lem giữ lễ Bánh Không Men suốt bảy ngày cách hân hoan. Ngày nào người Lê-vi và các thầy tế lễ cũng ca hát tôn vinh Chúa Hằng Hữu, hòa cùng tiếng nhạc vang lừng.

And they observed [the] people of Israel who were found (in Jerusalem *L(abh)*) [the] festival of the unleavened bread seven days with joy great and [were] praising Yahweh a day - in a day the Levites and the priests with instruments of strength to Yahweh.

22 Ê-xê-chia khích lệ những người Lê-vi vì họ đã tỏ ra thạo việc trong các lễ nghi thờ phượng Chúa Hằng Hữu. Họ ăn lễ suốt bảy ngày, dâng các tế lễ bình an, và cảm tạ Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của tổ phụ mình.

And he spoke Hezekiah to [the] heart of all the Levites who were understanding understanding good to Yahweh and they ate the appointed feast [the] seven the days sacrificing sacrifices of peace offerings and giving thanks to Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their.

23 Cả hội chúng quyết định cử hành lễ thêm bảy ngày nữa, vậy họ hân hoan giữ lễ thêm bảy ngày nữa.

And they took counsel all the assembly to observe seven days another and they observed seven days joy.

24 Vua Ê-xê-chia ban tặng dân chúng 1.000 bò đực và 7.000 chiên, và các quan viên cũng tặng thêm 1.000 bò đực và 10.000 chiên. Trong lúc ấy, số thầy tế lễ dọn mình thánh sạch cũng tăng lên đông đảo.

For Hezekiah [the] king of Judah he contributed for the assembly one thousand young bulls and seven thousand sheep. And the officials they contributed for the assembly young bulls one thousand and sheep ten thousand and they consecrated themselves priests to multitude.

25 Cả hội chúng Giu-đa cùng các thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi, hội chúng Ít-ra-ên và các người nước ngoài kiều ngụ ở Giu-đa và Ít-ra-ên

And they rejoiced - all [the] assembly of Judah and the priests and the Levites and all the assembly which were coming from Israel and the sojourners who were coming from [the] land of Israel and who were dwelling in Judah.

26 đều vô cùng hân hoan trong ngày đại lễ tại Giê-ru-sa-lem. Vì từ đời Sa-lô-môn, con Đa-vít, vua Ít-ra-ên đến nay, chưa từng có quốc lễ nào vĩ đại và đầy ý nghĩa như thế.

And it was joy great in Jerusalem for since [the] days of Solomon [the] son of David [the] king of Israel not like this in Jerusalem.

27 Các thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi đứng dậy chúc phước lành cho toàn dân, và Đức Chúa Trời từ ngôi thánh trên trời đã nghe lời cầu nguyện của họ.

And they arose the priests the Levites and they blessed the people and it was listened to voice their and it came prayer their to [the] dwelling of holiness his to the heavens.
