II Sử Ký 26
1 Toàn dân Giu-đa tôn con trai của A-ma-xia là Ô-xia lên kế vị vua cha, lúc ấy Ô-xia được mười sáu tuổi.
And they took all [the] people of Judah Uzziah and he [was] a son of six-teen year[s] and they made king him in place of father his Amaziah.
2 Sau khi cha vua chết, Ô-xia xây Ê-lát và khôi phục thành này cho Giu-đa.
He he built Elath and he restored it to Judah after lay down the king with ancestors his.
3 Ô-xia lên ngôi vua lúc mười sáu tuổi và cai trị năm mươi hai năm tại Giê-ru-sa-lem. Mẹ vua là Giê-cô-lia, quê ở Giê-ru-sa-lem.
[was] a son of Six-teen year[s] Uzziah when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his ([was] Jecholiah *Q(K)*) from Jerusalem.
4 Vua làm điều ngay trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu, theo gương A-ma-xia, cha vua.
And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.
5 Vua tìm cầu Đức Chúa Trời suốt đời Xa-cha-ri, là người dạy vua kính sợ Đức Chúa Trời. Vua tìm cầu Chúa Hằng Hữu bao lâu, Đức Chúa Trời cho vua thành công hưng thịnh bấy lâu.
And he was to seek God in [the] days of Zechariah who was skilled in [the] seeing of God and in [the] days of seeking he Yahweh he made prosper him God.
6 Ô-xia xuất quân đánh Phi-li-tin, hạ thành Gát, thành Giáp-nê, và thành Ách-đốt. Vua xây các thành mới trên đất Ách-đốt và những nơi khác thuộc Phi-li-tin.
And he went out and he fought against the Philistines and he made a breach in [the] wall of Gath and [the] wall of Jabneh and [the] wall of Ashdod and he built cities in Ashdod and among the Philistines.
7 Đức Chúa Trời giúp vua, không những trong cuộc chiến tranh với người Phi-li-tin, nhưng cả trong cuộc chiến tranh với người A-rập tại Gu-rơ Ba-anh và với người Mê-u-nim.
And he helped him God on [the] Philistines and on (the Arabs *Q(k)*) who were dwelling in Gur Baal and the Meunites.
8 Người Am-môn phải cống nạp cho vua. Danh tiếng vua lan đến tận Ai Cập, vì vua rất hùng mạnh.
And they paid the Ammonites tribute to Uzziah and it went name his till to [the] entrance of Egypt for he displayed strength to upwards.
9 Ô-xia xây các tháp kiên cố quanh Giê-ru-sa-lem tại Cửa Góc, Cửa Thung Lũng, và tại các góc tường.
And he built Uzziah towers in Jerusalem at [the] gate of the corner and at [the] gate of the valley and at the buttress and he made strong them.
10 Vua cũng xây tháp canh trong miền hoang dã, đào nhiều giếng vì vua có nhiều súc vật trong vùng Sơ-phê-la và trong đồng bằng. Vua chuộng việc canh tác đất đai, nên nuôi nhiều nông phu và người trồng nho trên các đồi núi và vùng phì nhiêu.
And he built towers in the wilderness and he dug wells many for livestock much it belonged to him and in the Shephelah and in the plain farmers and vinedressers in the mountains and in the orchards for loving [the] ground he was.
11 Ô-xia có một đạo quân tài giỏi, sẵn sàng chiến đấu, theo từng đơn vị. Đội quân này được tuyển mộ và thiết lập bởi Giê-i-ên, thư ký quân đội và người phụ tá là Ma-a-xê-gia. Họ được đặt dưới quyền chỉ huy của Ha-na-nia, là một đại thần của vua.
And it belonged to Uzziah an army doing battle [those who] go forth of war to troop[s] by [the] number of muster their by [the] hand of (Jeiel *Q(K)*) the scribe and Maaseiah the official on [the] hand of Hananiah one of [the] officials of the king.
12 Có 2.600 trưởng tộc, toàn là người mạnh bạo, chỉ huy các đội ngũ này.
All [the] number of [the] heads of the fathers of mighty [men] of strength two thousand and six hundred.
13 Quân số lên đến 307.500 người, toàn quân thiện chiến. Họ sẵn sàng giúp vua chống lại quân thù.
And [was] on hand their an army of war three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred doers of battle with power of strength to help the king on the enemy.
14 Ô-xia cung cấp đủ khiên, giáo, nón trận, giáp, cung, và ná bắn đá cho quân mình.
And he prepared for them Uzziah for all the army shields and spears and helmets and body armor and bows and stones of slings.
15 Tại Giê-ru-sa-lem, Ô-xia cho dựng các máy gắn trên tường do những người thạo nghề thiết kế để bảo vệ người bắn tên và đá lớn từ các tháp và các góc thành. Danh tiếng vua đồn khắp nơi, vì vua được Chúa Hằng Hữu giúp đỡ cách diệu kỳ, cho đến khi trở nên cường thịnh.
And he made - in Jerusalem war engines of invention of an inventor to be on the towers and on the corners to shoot with arrows and with stones large and it went out name his to from a distance for he made wonderful to be helped until for he was strong.
16 Nhưng khi được cường thịnh, Ô-xia trở nên kiêu căng, khiến vua bại hoại. Vua phạm tội với Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời mình, vì tự đi vào nơi thánh của Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu và dâng hương trên bàn thờ.
And according to strengthening his it was haughty heart his until behaved corruptly and he acted unfaithfully against Yahweh God his and he went into [the] temple of Yahweh to make smoke on [the] altar of incense.
17 Thầy thượng tế A-xa-ria đem theo tám mươi thầy tế lễ can đảm của Chúa Hằng Hữu theo sau vua.
And he went after him Azariah the priest and [were] with him priests - of Yahweh eighty sons of strength.
18 Họ đối diện Vua Ô-xia và nói: “Việc xông hương cho Chúa Hằng Hữu không phải việc của vua. Đó là việc của các thầy tế lễ, con cháu A-rôn, đã được biệt cử vào chức vụ này. Vua phải ra khỏi nơi thánh này ngay vì vua đã phạm tội. Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời sẽ không cho vua vẻ vang vì việc này đâu!”
And they took their stand on Uzziah the king and they said to him not [belongs] to you O Uzziah to make smoke to Yahweh for to the priests [the] descendants of Aaron who are consecrated to make smoke go out from the sanctuary for you have acted unfaithfully and not of you for honor from Yahweh God.
19 Lúc ấy tay đang cầm bình hương, Ô-xia nổi giận với các thầy tế lễ. Lập tức, phong hủi nổi trắng trên trán vua, ngay trước mặt các thầy tế lễ, lúc vua đang đứng bên bàn thờ xông hương trong Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu.
And he was enraged Uzziah and [was] in hand his a censer to make smoke and when enraging he with the priests and skin disease it arose on forehead his before the priests in [the] house of Yahweh from on to [the] altar of incense.
20 Khi thầy thượng tế A-xa-ria và các thầy tế lễ khác thấy phong hủi, vội đuổi Ô-xia ra. Chính vua cũng tất tả đi ra vì bị Chúa Hằng Hữu trừng trị.
And he turned to him Azariah [the] priest of the head and all the priests and there! he [was] leprous on forehead his and they hastened him from there and also he he hurried himself to go out for he had struck him Yahweh.
21 Vua Ô-xia tiếp tục mang bệnh phong hủi cho đến ngày chết. Vua phải sống cách biệt với mọi người, bị cấm vào Đền Thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu. Con vua là Giô-tham đứng ra lo việc triều chính và cai trị dân trong nước.
And he was Uzziah the king leprous - until [the] day of death his and he dwelt [the] house of (separateness *Q(k)*) leprous for he was cut off from [the] house of Yahweh and Jotham son his [was] over [the] house of the king judging [the] people of the land.
22 Tiên tri Y-sai, con A-mốt có ghi lại tất cả công việc của Ô-xia từ đầu đến cuối.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Uzziah former and latter he has written Isaiah [the] son of Amoz the prophet.
23 Ô-xia an giấc với tổ tiên; mộ của vua được chôn gần khu lăng mộ các vua, vì người ta nói rằng: “Vua bị phong hủi.” Con vua là Giô-tham lên ngôi kế vị.
And he lay down Uzziah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] field of grave which [belonged] to the kings for they said [was] leprous he and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.
