I Sử Ký 6

1 Các con Lê-vi là Ghẹt-sôn, Kê-hát, và Mê-ra-ri.

The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

2 Các con Kê-hát là Am-ram, Dít-sê-ha, Hếp-rôn, và U-xi-ên.

The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 Các con Am-ram là A-rôn, Môi-se, và Mi-ri-am. Các con A-rôn là Na-đáp, A-bi-hu, Ê-lê-a-sa, và Y-tha-ma.

The sons of Amram: Aaron, Moses, and Miriam. The sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

4 Ê-lê-a-sa sinh Phi-nê-a. Phi-nê-a sinh A-bi-sua.

Eleazar conceived Phinehas, and Phinehas conceived Abishua.

5 A-bi-sua sinh Bu-ki. Bu-ki sinh U-xi.

Truly, Abishua conceived Bukki, and Bukki conceived Uzzi.

6 U-xi sinh Xê-ra-hi-gia. Xê-ra-hi-gia sinh Mê-ra-giốt.

Uzzi conceived Zerahiah, and Zerahiah conceived Meraioth.

7 Mê-ra-giốt sinh A-ma-ria. A-mi-ra sinh A-hi-túp.

Then Meraioth conceived Amariah, and Amariah conceived Ahitub.

8 A-hi-túp sinh Xa-đốc. Xa-đốc sinh A-hi-mát.

Ahitub conceived Zadok, and Zadok conceived Ahimaaz.

9 A-hi-mát sinh A-xa-ria. A-xa-ria Giô-ha-nan.

Ahimaaz conceived Azariah; Azariah conceived Johanan.

10 Giô-ha-nan sinh A-xa-ria, là thầy tế lễ trong Đền Thờ mà Vua Sa-lô-môn đã dựng tại Giê-ru-sa-lem.

Johanan conceived Azariah. He is the one who executed the priestly office in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem.

11 A-xa-ria sinh A-ma-ria. A-ma-ria sinh A-hi-túp.

Now Azariah conceived Amariah, and Amariah conceived Ahitub.

12 A-hi-túp sinh Xa-đốc. Xa-đốc sinh Sa-lum.

Ahitub conceived Zadok, and Zadok conceived Shallum.

13 Sa-lum sinh Hinh-kia. Hinh-kia sinh A-xa-ria.

Shallum conceived Hilkiah, and Hilkiah conceived Azariah.

14 A-xa-ria sinh Sê-ra-gia. Sê-ra-gia sinh Giô-sa-đác,

Azariah conceived Seraiah, and Seraiah conceived Jehozadak.

15 là người bị bắt lưu đày khi Chúa Hằng Hữu dùng Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa bắt người Giu-đa và Giê-ru-sa-lem dẫn đi.

Now Jehozadak departed, when the Lord took away Judah and Jerusalem, by the hands of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 Các con Lê-vi là Ghẹt-sôn, Kê-hát, và Mê-ra-ri.

So the sons of Levi were Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

17 Các con Ghẹt-sôn là Líp-ni và Si-mê-i.

And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

18 Các con Kê-hát là Am-ram, Dích-sê-ha, Hếp-rôn, và U-xi-ên.

The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 Các con Mê-ra-ri là Mách-li và Mu-si. Đó là gốc gác của các dòng họ nhà Lê-vi, theo tổ phụ họ.

The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. And so these are the kindred of Levi, according to their families.

The sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

Elkanah his son, Ebiasaph his son, Assir his son,

24 Ta-hát, U-ri-ên, U-xi-gia, và Sau-lơ.

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, Shaul his son.

25 Con cháu của Ên-ca-na gồm A-ma-sai, A-hi-mốt,

The sons of Elkanah: Amasai and Ahimoth

26 Ên-ca-na, Xô-phai, Na-hát,

and Elkanah. The sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, Nahath his son,

27 Ê-li-áp, Giê-rô-ham, Ên-ca-na, và Sa-mu-ên.

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.

The sons of Samuel: Vasseni the firstborn, and Abijah.

Now the sons of Merari were: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30 Si-mê-a, Ha-ghi-gia, và A-sa-gia.

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

31 Vua Đa-vít chỉ định những người hướng dẫn việc ca hát trong nhà của Chúa Hằng Hữu sau khi Hòm Giao Ước được đặt tại đó.

These are the ones whom David appointed over the singing men in the house of the Lord, in the place where the ark was located.

32 Những người này tiếp tục công việc ca hát tại Đền Tạm cho đến ngày Sa-lô-môn xây xong Đền Thờ của Chúa Hằng Hữu ở Giê-ru-sa-lem. Họ cứ theo thứ tự mà làm việc.

And they ministered before the tabernacle of the testimony with singing, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. And they would stand according to their order in the ministry.

Truly, these are the ones who were assisting, with their sons, from the sons of Kohath: the singer Heman, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

34 Ên-ca-na, Giê-rô-ham, Ê-li-ên, Thô-a,

the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

35 Xu-phơ, Ên-ca-na, Ma-hát, A-ma-sai,

the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

36 Ên-ca-na, Giô-ên, A-xa-ria, Sô-phô-ni,

the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

37 Ta-hát, Át-si, Ê-bi-a-sáp, Cô-ra,

the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

38 Dít-sê-na, Kê-hát, Lê-vi, và Ít-ra-ên.

the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

And there was also his brother, Asaph, who was standing at his right, Asaph, the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,

40 Mi-ca-ên, Ba-sê-gia, Manh-ki-gia,

the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah,

41 Ét-ni, Xê-ra, A-đa-gia,

the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,

42 Ê-than, Xim-ma, Si-mê-i,

the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,

43 Gia-hát, Ghẹt-sôn, và Lê-vi.

the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

Now the sons of Merari, their brothers, were on the left: Ethan, the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

45 Ha-sa-bia, A-ma-xia, Hinh-kia,

the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

46 Am-si, Ba-ni, Sê-me,

the son of Amzi, the son of Boni, the son of Shemer,

47 Mách-li, Mu-si, Mê-ra-ri, và Lê-vi.

the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

There were also their brothers, Levites who were appointed for every ministry of the tabernacle of the house of the Lord.

Truly, Aaron and his sons were burning offerings upon the altar of holocausts and upon the altar of incense, for the entire work of the Holy of Holies, and to pray on behalf of Israel, in accord with all the things that Moses, the servant of God, had instructed.

50 Con cháu A-rôn là: Ê-lê-a-sa, Phi-nê-a, A-bi-sua,

Now these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51 Bu-ki, U-xi, Xê-ra-hi-gia,

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

52 Mê-ra-giốt, A-ma-ria, A-hi-túp,

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

53 Xa-đốc, và A-hi-mát.

Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

54 Sau đây là sự phân phối các thành và đất đai cho các con cháu A-rôn thuộc dòng Kê-hát:

And these are their habitations according to the villages and confines, specifically of the sons of Aaron, according to the kindred of the Kohathites. For it fell to them by lot.

And so, they gave Hebron, in the land of Judah, and its suburbs all around, to them,

but they gave the fields of the city, and the villages, to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.

57 Ngoài ra, con cháu A-rôn còn có các thành trú ẩn với đồng cỏ chung quanh sau đây: Thành Hếp-rôn, Líp-na, Gia-tia, Ết-tê-mô-a,

Then, to the sons of Aaron, they gave the cities of refuge: Hebron, and Libnah with its suburbs,

58 Hi-lên, Đê-bia,

also Jattir and Eshtemoa with their suburbs, then also Hilen and Debir with their suburbs,

59 A-san, và Bết-sê-mết.

as well as Ashan and Beth-shemesh with their suburbs.

60 Trong đất Bên-gia-min, họ có Ghê-ba, A-lê-mết, A-na-tốt, và đồng cỏ chung quanh. Có mười ba thành được giao cho con cháu của A-rôn.

And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its suburbs, and Alemeth with its suburbs, as well as Anathoth with its suburbs. All the cities throughout their kindred were thirteen.

61 Những người còn lại thuộc dòng Kê-hát nhận được mười thành trong đất của phân nửa đại tộc Ma-na-se.

Now to the sons of Kohath, those remaining from their kindred, they gave ten cities, from the one half tribe of Manasseh, as a possession;

62 Dòng Ghẹt-sôn nhận được mười ba thành, thuộc các đại tộc Y-sa-ca, A-se, Nép-ta-li, và Ma-na-se trong đất Ba-san, phía đông sông Giô-đan.

and to the sons of Gershom, according to their families, from the tribe of Issachar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe Manasseh in Bashan: thirteen cities.

63 Dòng Mê-ra-ri nhận được mười hai thành trong đất của các đại tộc Ru-bên, Gát, và Sa-bu-luân.

Then to the sons of Merari, according to their families, from the tribe of Reuben, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun, they gave by lot twelve cities.

64 Vậy, người Ít-ra-ên cấp thành và đồng cỏ chung quanh cho con cháu Lê-vi.

Also, the sons of Israel gave, to the Levites, cities and their suburbs,

65 Các thành thuộc đại tộc Giu-đa, Si-mê-ôn, và Bên-gia-min là được kể tên trên đây được chỉ định cho Người Lê-vi.

and they gave them by lot, out of the tribe of the sons of Judah, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities, which they called by their names.

66 Một số gia đình thuộc dòng Kê-hát nhận được thành từ đại tộc Ép-ra-im các thành trú ẩn với đồng cỏ chung quanh sau đây:

And for those who were from the kindred of the sons of Kohath, the cities with their borders were from the tribe of Ephraim.

67 Si-chem (thành trú ẩn trên cao nguyên Ép-ra-im), Ghê-xe,

Then they gave to them the cities of refuge: Shechem with its suburbs on mount Ephraim, and Gezer with its suburbs,

68 Giốc-mê-am, Bết-hô-rôn,

as well as Jokmeam with its suburbs, and Beth-horon similarly,

69 A-gia-lôn, và Gát-rim-môn.

and indeed Hilen with its suburbs, and Gath Rimmon in the same manner.

70 Các gia đình này còn nhận được từ phân nửa đại tộc Ma-na-se hai thành với đồng cỏ chung quanh là A-ne và Ba-la-am.

Then too, out of the one half tribe of Manasseh: Aner and its suburbs, Bileam and its suburbs; these in particular went to those who were remaining from the kindred of the sons of Kohath.

71 Phân nửa đại tộc Ma-na-se còn cấp cho dòng Ghẹt-sôn hai thành với đồng cỏ chung quanh là Gô-lan (thuộc Ba-san) và Ách-ta-rốt.

And to the sons of Gershom, from the kindred of the one half tribe of Manasseh: Golan, in Bashan, and its suburbs, and Ashtaroth with its suburbs;

72 Đại tộc Y-sa-ca cấp cho họ các thành với đồng cỏ chung quanh là: Kê-đe, Đa-bê-rát,

from the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh and its suburbs, and Daberath with its suburbs,

73 Ra-mốt, và A-nem.

as well as Ramoth and its suburbs, and Anem with its suburbs;

74 Đại tộc A-se cấp các thành Ma-sanh, Áp-đôn,

truly, from the tribe of Asher: Mashal with its suburbs, and Abdon similarly;

75 Hu-cô, và Rê-hốp với đồng cỏ chung quanh.

as well as Hukkok and its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs;

76 Đại tộc Nép-ta-li cấp các thành Kê-đe, thuộc Ga-li-lê, Ham-môn, và Ki-ri-a-ta-im với đồng cỏ chung quanh.

moreover, from the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee and its suburbs, Hammon with its suburbs, and Kiriathaim and its suburbs.

77 Những người còn lại thuộc dòng Mê-ra-ri nhận được hai thành Rim-môn và Tha-bô với đồng cỏ chung quanh từ đại tộc Sa-bu-luân.

Then to the remaining sons of Merari, from the tribe of Zebulun: Rimmono and its suburbs, and Tabor with its suburbs;

78 Từ đại tộc Ru-bên, phía đông Sông Giô-đan, đối diện Giê-ri-cô, họ nhận các thành Ba-san (thuộc hoang mạc), Gia-xa,

and also, across the Jordan opposite Jericho, facing the east of the Jordan, from the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness with its suburbs, and Jahzah with its suburbs;

79 Kê-đê-mốt, và Mê-phát với đồng cỏ chung quanh.

as well as Kedemoth and its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs;

80 Và từ đại tộc Gát, họ nhận các thành Ra-mốt, thuộc Ga-la-át, Ma-ha-na-im,

indeed also, from the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead and its suburbs, and Mahanaim with its suburbs;

81 Hết-bôn, và Gia-ê-xe, với đồng cỏ chung quanh.

then too, Heshbon with its suburbs, and Jazer with its suburbs.
