I Sử Ký 24
1 Con cháu A-rôn được phân chia thành những nhóm phục vụ. Các con trai của A-rôn là Na-đáp, A-bi-hu, Ê-lê-a-sa, và Y-tha-ma.
And the divisions of the sons of Aaron were: The sons of Aaron were Nadab, and Abihu, El'azar, and Ithamar.
2 Nhưng Na-đáp và A-bi-hu chết trước cha, và không có con. Vì vậy, Ê-lê-a-sa và Y-tha-ma giữ chức tế lễ.
But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and they had no children: and El'azar and Ithamar became priests.
3 Xa-đốc, dòng dõi Ê-lê-a-sa và A-hi-mê-léc, dòng dõi Y-tha-ma, giúp Đa-vít phân chia con cháu A-rôn làm nhiều toán phục vụ.
And David divided them off with Zadok of the sons of El'azar', and Achimelech of the sons of Ithamar, to their office in their service.
4 Vì dòng Ê-lê-a-sa có nhiều trưởng nhóm hơn dòng Y-tha-ma nên họ phân chia dòng Ê-lê-a-sa làm mười sáu nhóm, và dòng Y-tha-ma tám nhóm.
And the sons of El'azar were found more numerous in the chiefs of males than the sons of Ithamar; and they divided them accordingly. Of the sons of El'azar there were sixteen chiefs of the family divisions, and of the sons of Ithamar, eight for their family divisions.
5 Họ bắt thăm phân công cho các nhóm, hết nhóm này đến nhóm khác, vì các viên chức danh tiếng, các viên chức phục dịch Đức Chúa Trời nơi thánh đều do con cháu Ê-lê-a-sa và con cháu Y-tha-ma đảm trách.
And they divided them off by lot, both the first and the last; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors [of the house] of God, were from the sons of El'azar, and from the sons of Ithamar.
6 Sê-ma-gia, con trai Na-tha-na-ên, người Lê-vi làm thư ký ghi chép trước mặt vua và các vị lãnh đạo, Thầy Tế lễ Xa-đốc, A-hi-mê-léc, con trai A-bia-tha, các trưởng nhóm tế lễ và người Lê-vi. Họ bắt thăm cứ hai toán cho dòng Ê-lê-a-sa, thì một nhóm cho dòng Y-tha-ma.
And Shema'yah the son of Nethanel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them down before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Achimelech the son of Ebyathar, and the chiefs of the families of the priests and Levites: one family division being drawn of El'azar, and one being equally drawn of Ithamar.
7 Thăm thứ nhất thuộc về Giê-hô-gia-ríp. Thăm thứ hai thuộc về Giê-đa-ê-gia.
And there came out the first lot for Jehoyarib, for Jeda'yah the second,
8 Thăm thứ ba thuộc về Ha-rim. Thăm thứ tư thuộc về Sê-ô-rim.
For Charim the third, for Se'orim the fourth,
9 Thăm thứ năm thuộc về Manh-ki-gia. Thăm thứ sáu thuộc về Mi-gia-min.
For Malkiyah the fifth, for Miyamin the sixth.
10 Thăm thứ bảy thuộc về Ha-cốt. Thăm thứ tám thuộc về A-bi-gia.
For Hakkoz the seventh, for Abiyah the eighth,
11 Thăm thứ chín thuộc về Giê-sua. Thăm thứ mười thuộc về Sê-ca-nia.
For Jeshua' the ninth, for Shechanyahu the tenth,
12 Thăm thứ mười một thuộc về Ê-li-a-síp. Thăm thứ mười hai thuộc về Gia-kim.
For Elyashib the eleventh, for Jakim the twelfth,
13 Thăm thứ mười ba thuộc về Húp-ba. Thăm thứ mười bốn thuộc về Giê-sê-báp.
For Chuppah the thirteenth, for Jeshehah the fourteenth,
14 Thăm thứ mười lăm thuộc về Binh-ga. Thăm thứ mười sáu thuộc về Y-mê.
For Bilgah the fifteenth, for Immer the sixteenth,
15 Thăm thứ mười bảy thuộc về Hê-xia. Thăm thứ mười tám thuộc về Phi-xết.
For Chezir the seventeenth, for Happizzez the eighteenth,
16 Thăm thứ mười chín thuộc về Phê-ta-hia. Thăm thứ hai mươi thuộc về Ê-xê-chi-ên.
For Pethachyah the nineteenth, for Ezekiel the twentieth.
17 Thăm thứ hai mươi mốt thuộc về Gia-kin. Thăm thứ hai mươi hai thuộc về Ga-mun.
For Jachin the one and twentieth, for Gamul the two and twentieth,
18 Thăm thứ hai mươi ba thuộc về Đê-la-gia. Thăm thứ hai mươi bốn thuộc về Ma-a-xia.
For Delayahu the three and twentieth, for Ma'azyahu the four and twentieth.
19 Mỗi nhóm lãnh phận sự phục dịch trong nhà của Chúa Hằng Hữu như A-rôn, tổ phụ họ đã quy định, theo mệnh lệnh của Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của Ít-ra-ên.
This was their office in their service to come into the house of the Lord, according to the manner prescribed to them, under the supervision of Aaron their father, as the Lord the God of Israel had commanded him.
20 Sau đây là các trưởng tộc khác trong dòng dõi Lê-vi: Con cháu Am-ram, trưởng tộc là Su-ba-ên. Con cháu Su-ba-ên, trưởng tộc là Giê-đia.
And of the rest of the sons of Levi there were, of the sons of 'Amram: Shubael. Of the sons of Shubael: Jechdeyahu.
21 Con cháu Rê-ha-bia, trưởng tộc là Di-si-gia.
Concerning Rechabyahu, of the sons of Rechabyahu the chief was Yishiyah.
22 Con cháu Dít-sê-ha, trưởng tộc là Sê-lô-mốt. Con cháu Sê-lô-mít, trưởng tộc là Gia-hát.
Of the Yisharites was Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth was Jachath.
23 Con cháu Hếp-rôn, trưởng tộc là Giê-ri-gia, A-ma-ria là thứ hai, Gia-ha-xi-ên là thứ ba, và Gia-ca-mê-am là thứ tư.
And the sons [of Hebron]: Jeriyah, Amaryahu the second, Jachaziel the third, Jekam'am the fourth.
24 Con cháu U-xi-ên, trưởng tộc là Mi-ca. Con cháu Mi-ca, trưởng tộc là Sa-mia.
[Of] the sons of 'Uzziel, Michah: of the sons of Michah, Shamir.
25 Em Mi-ca là Di-si-gia. Con cháu Dít-si-gia, trưởng tộc là Xa-cha-ri.
The brother of Michah was Yishiyah; of the sons of Yishiyah, Zecharyahu.
26 Con cháu Mê-ra-ri, trưởng tộc là Mách-li và Mu-si. Con cháu Gia-a-xi-gia, trưởng tộc là Bê-nô.
The sons of Merari were Machli and Mushi: the sons of Ja'aziyahu, Beno.
27 Con cháu Mê-ra-ri, theo dòng Gia-a-xi-gia, các trưởng tộc là Bê-nô, Sô-ham, Xác-cua, và Y-bê-ri.
The sons of Merari by Ja'aziyahu: Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and 'Ibri.
28 Con cháu Mách-li, trưởng tộc là Ê-lê-a-sa, người này không có con trai.
Of Machli: El'azar, who had no sons.
29 Con cháu của Kích, trưởng tộc là Giê-rác-mê-ên.
Of Kish: The son of Kish was Jerachmeel.

And the sons of Mushi were Machli, and 'Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after their family divisions.
31 Cũng như dòng dõi A-rôn, các trưởng tộc dòng lớn và dòng nhỏ đều được phân công theo lối bắt thăm trước mặt Vua Đa-vít, Xa-đốc, A-hi-mê-léc, các trưởng tộc tế lễ và người Lê-vi.
These likewise cast lots in the same manner as their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of king David, and Zadok, and Achimelech, and the chiefs of the families of the priests and Levites, even the principal of the families equally with his youngest brother.
