< Zǝbur 137 >
1 Babildiki dǝrya-eriⱪlar boyida biz olturduⱪ; Zionni ǝsliginimizdǝ, bǝrⱨǝⱪ yiƣa kɵtürduⱪ;
By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.
2 Qiltarimizni arisidiki sɵgǝtlǝrgǝ esip ⱪoyduⱪ.
We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
3 Qünki bizni sürgün ⱪilƣanlar bizdin nahxa tǝlǝp ⱪildi; Bizni zarlatⱪuqilar bizdin tamaxa tǝlǝp ⱪilip: — «Ⱨǝy, Zion nahxiliridin birni bizgǝ eytⱪina» — deyixti.
For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
4 Yaⱪa yurtta turup Pǝrwǝrdigarning nahxisini ⱪandaⱪmu eytayli?
How shall we sing Yhwh's song in a strange land?
5 Əy Yerusalem, mǝn seni untusam, Ong ⱪolum [maⱨaritini] untusun!
If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
6 Seni ǝslimisǝm, — Yerusalemni ǝng qong hursǝnlikimdin ǝwzǝl kɵrmisǝm — Tilim tanglayimƣa qaplixip ⱪalsun!
If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
7 I Pǝrwǝrdigar, Edom baliliridin ⱨesab alƣanda, Yerusalemning bexiƣa qüxkǝn künini yadingƣa kǝltürgǝysǝn; Qünki ular: «Uni yǝr bilǝn yǝksan ⱪilinglar, Uliƣiqǝ yǝr bilǝn yǝksan ⱪilinglar!» deyixti.
Remember, O Yhwh, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.
8 I bulinix aldida turƣan Babil ⱪizi, Bizgǝ ⱪilƣan ⱪilmixliringni ɵzünggǝ ⱪayturƣuqi bǝhtliktur!
O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.
9 Bowaⱪliringni elip taxⱪa atⱪuqi kixi bǝhtliktur!
Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
