1 Dana oƣul atisining tǝrbiyisigǝ kɵngül ⱪoyar; Mǝshirǝ ⱪilƣuqi tǝnbiⱨkǝ ⱪulaⱪ salmas.
A WISE son [heareth] his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
2 Adǝm durus eƣizining mewisidin ⱨuzurlinar; Tuzkorlar zorawanliⱪⱪa ⱨǝwǝs ⱪilip zorawanliⱪⱪa uqrar.
A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the treacherous [shall eat] violence.
3 Sɵzdǝ eⱨtiyatqan kixi jenini saⱪlap ⱪalar; Aƣzi ittik ⱨalakǝtkǝ uqrar.
He that guardeth his mouth keepeth his life: [but] he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
4 Ⱨurunning arzu-tiliki bar, lekin erixǝlmǝs; Lekin tirixqan ǝtlinǝr.
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
5 Ⱨǝⱪⱪaniy adǝm yalƣanqiliⱪtin yirginǝr; Ⱪǝbiⱨ bolsa sesip, xǝrmǝndǝ bolar.
A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
6 Yoli durusni ⱨǝⱪⱪaniyǝt ⱪoƣdar; Lekin gunaⱨkarni rǝzillik yiⱪitar.
Righteousness guardeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
7 Bǝzilǝr ɵzini bay kɵrsǝtkini bilǝn ǝmǝliyǝttǝ ⱪuruⱪ sɵlǝttur; Bǝzilǝr ɵzini yoⱪsul kɵrsǝtkini bilǝn zor bayliⱪliri bardur.
There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great wealth.
8 Ɵz bayliⱪi gɵrügǝ tutulƣan bayning jeniƣa ara turar; Biraⱪ yoⱪsullar ⱨeq wǝⱨimini anglimas.
The ransom of a man’s life is his riches: but the poor heareth no threatening.
9 Ⱨǝⱪⱪaniy adǝmning nuri xadlinip parlar; Biraⱪ yaman adǝmning qiriƣi ɵqürülǝr.
The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
10 Kibirliktin pǝⱪǝt jedǝl-majirala qiⱪar; Danaliⱪ bolsa nǝsiⱨǝtni angliƣanlar bilǝn billidur.
By pride cometh only contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
11 Ixlimǝy tapⱪan ⱨaram bayliⱪ bǝrikǝtsizdur; Tǝr tɵküp ⱨalal tapⱪan güllinǝr.
Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall have increase.
12 Tǝlmürginigǝ kütüp erixǝlmǝslik kɵngülni sunuⱪ ⱪilar, Lekin tǝxnaliⱪta erixkini «ⱨayatliⱪ dǝrihi»dur.
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
13 [Hudaning] kalam-sɵzigǝ pisǝnt ⱪilmiƣan adǝm gunaⱨning tɵlimigǝ ⱪǝrzdar bolar; Lekin pǝrmanni ⱪǝdirligǝn adǝm yahxiliⱪ kɵrǝr.
Whoso despiseth the word bringeth destruction on himself: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
14 Aⱪilanining tǝlimi ⱨayatliⱪ bǝrgüqi bulaⱪtur, U seni ɵlüm tuzaⱪliridin ⱪutuldurar.
The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
15 Aⱪilanilik adǝmni iltipatⱪa erixtürǝr; Biraⱪ tuzkorlarning yoli ǝgri-bügri, japaliⱪ bolar.
Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of the treacherous is rugged.
16 Pǝm-parasǝtlik adǝm bilimi bilǝn ix kɵrǝr; Ⱨamaⱪǝt ɵz nadanliⱪini axkarilar.
Every prudent man worketh with knowledge: but a fool spreadeth out folly.
17 Rǝzil alaⱪiqi bala-ⱪazaƣa uqrar; Sadiⱪ ǝlqi bolsa dǝrdkǝ dǝrmandur.
A wicked messenger falleth into evil: but a faithful ambassador is health.
18 Tǝrbiyǝni rǝt ⱪilƣan adǝm namratlixip uyatⱪa ⱪalar; Əmma tǝnbiⱨni ⱪobul ⱪilƣan ⱨɵrmǝtkǝ erixǝr.
Poverty and shame [shall be to] him that refuseth correction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
19 Əmǝlgǝ axⱪan arzu kixigǝ xerin tuyular; Lekin ǝhmǝⱪlǝr yamanliⱪni taxlaxni yaman kɵrǝr.
The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.
20 Aⱪilanilǝr bilǝn billǝ yürgǝn Dan. bolar; Biraⱪ ǝhmǝⱪlǝrgǝ ⱨǝmraⱨ bolƣan nalǝ-pǝryadta ⱪalar.
Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise: but the companion of fools shall smart for it.
21 Bala-ⱪaza gunaⱨkarlarning kǝynidin besip mangar; Lekin ⱨǝⱪⱪaniylar yahxiliⱪning ǝjrini tapar.
Evil pursueth sinners: but the righteous shall be recompensed with good.
22 Yahxi adǝm pǝrzǝntlirining pǝrzǝntlirigǝ miras ⱪaldurar; Gunaⱨkarlarning yiƣⱪan mal-dunyaliri ⱨǝⱪⱪaniylar üqün toplinar.
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children; and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.
23 Yoⱪsulning taxlanduⱪ yeri mol ⱨosul berǝr, Lekin adalǝtsizliktin u wǝyran bolar.
Much food [is in] the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed by reason of injustice.
24 Tayaⱪni ayiƣan kixi oƣlini yahxi kɵrmǝs; Balini sɵygǝn kixi uni ǝstayidil tǝrbiyilǝp jazalar.
He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
25 Ⱨǝⱪⱪaniy adǝm kɵngli ⱪanaǝt tapⱪuqǝ ozuⱪ yǝr; Yamanning ⱪorsiⱪi aq ⱪalar.
The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.
