< Yǝxua 9 >

1 Əmdi xundaⱪ boldiki, Iordan dǝryasining ƣǝrb tǝripidiki, yǝni taƣliⱪ rayondiki, Xǝfǝlaⱨ oymanliⱪidiki, Uluƣ Dengiz boyidiki, Liwanning uduliƣiqǝ sozulƣan barliⱪ yurtlardiki padixaⱨlar wǝ xuningdǝk Ⱨittiylar, Amoriylar, Ⱪanaaniylar, Pǝrizziylǝr, Ⱨiwiylar, Yǝbusiylarning padixaⱨliri bu ixtin hǝwǝr tapⱪanda,
And when these things were heard, all the kings across the Jordan, who lived among the mountains and plains, along the coastline and shores of the great sea, also those who were living near Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite,
2 ⱨǝmmisi bir bolup Yǝxua bilǝn Israilƣa ⱪarxi jǝng ⱪilƣili ittipaⱪlaxti.
gathered themselves together, so that they might fight against Joshua and Israel, with one mind and with the same resolve.
3 Əmma Gibeon aⱨaliliri Yǝxuaning Yeriho bilǝn Ayiƣa nemǝ ⱪilƣinini angliƣanda,
But those who were living in Gibeon, hearing all that Joshua had done to Jericho and Ai,
4 ular ⱨiylǝ-mikir ixlitip, ɵzlirini [uzun] sǝpǝrdǝ bolƣandǝk kɵrsitip, exǝklǝrgǝ kona taƣar-hurjun bilǝn kona, yirtiⱪ-yamaⱪ xarab tulumlirini artip,
planning cleverly, took for themselves provisions, placing old sacks upon their donkeys, and wineskins that had torn and been sewed up,
5 putliriƣa yamaⱪ qüxkǝn kona kǝxlǝrni kiyip, kona jul-jul eginlǝrni üstigǝ oriƣan idi; ular sǝpǝrgǝ alƣan nanlarning ⱨǝmmisi pahtilixip ⱪurup kǝtkǝnidi.
and having very old shoes, which had been sewn with patches indicating their age, and being clothed in old garments, having also loaves, which they carried as food for the journey, which were hard and broken into pieces.
6 Ular Gilgal qedirgaⱨiƣa berip Yǝxuaning ⱪexiƣa kirip uning bilǝn Israillarƣa: — Biz yiraⱪ yurttin kǝlduⱪ; biz bilǝn ǝⱨdǝ tüzsǝnglar, dedi.
And they traveled to Joshua, who at that time was staying in the camp at Gilgal. And they said to him, and to all of Israel with him, “We have come from a far away land, desiring to make peace with you.” And the sons of Israel responded to them, and said,
7 Lekin Israillar Ⱨiwiylarƣa jawab berip: — Silǝr bizning arimizda turuwatⱪan muxu yǝrliklǝr boluxunglar mumkin; undaⱪta biz silǝr bilǝn ⱪandaⱪmu ǝⱨdǝ tüzimiz? — dedi.
“Perhaps instead, you live in the land which ought to be ours by lot, and we would be unable to form a pact with you.”
8 Ular Yǝxuaƣa: — Biz sening ⱪulliringmiz, dedi. Yǝxua ulardin: — Silǝr kim, ⱪǝyǝrdin kǝldinglar? — dǝp soridi.
But they said to Joshua, “We are your servants.” And Joshua said to them: “But who are you? And where are you from?”
9 Ular uningƣa jawab berip: — Sening ⱪulliring bolsa Pǝrwǝrdigar Hudayingning namini angliƣanliⱪi üqün naⱨayiti yiraⱪ yurttin kǝldi. Qünki biz Uning nam-xɵⱨritini wǝ Uning Misirda ⱪilƣan ⱨǝmmǝ ixlirini,
They responded: “Your servants have arrived, from a very far away land, in the name of the Lord, your God. For we have heard about the fame of his power, all the things that he has done in Egypt,
10 xundaⱪla Uning Iordanning u tǝripidiki Amoriylarning ikki padixaⱨi, yǝni Ⱨǝxbonning padixaⱨi Siⱨon bilǝn Axtarotta turuⱪluⱪ Baxanning padixaⱨi Ogⱪa nemǝ ⱪilƣinini angliduⱪ.
and to the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan: Sihon, the king of Heshbon, and Og, the king of Bashan, who was at Ashtaroth.
11 Xunga aⱪsaⱪallirimiz bilǝn yurtta turƣuqi ⱨǝmmǝ hǝlⱪ bizgǝ sɵz ⱪilip: — Ⱪolunglarƣa sǝpǝrgǝ lazimliⱪ ozuⱪ-tülük elip, berip Israillar bilǝn kɵrüxüp ularƣa: «Biz silǝrning ⱪulluⱪunglarda bolimiz; xunga biz bilǝn ǝⱨdǝ tüzünglar», dǝnglar, dǝp bizni ǝwǝtti.
And our elders, and all the inhabitants of our land, have said to us: ‘Take in hand provisions for the very long journey, and meet with them, and say: We are your servants; form a pact with us.’
12 Silǝrning ⱪexinglarƣa ⱪarap yolƣa qiⱪⱪan künidǝ biz sǝpirimiz üqün ɵyimizdin alƣan nan issiⱪ idi, mana ⱨazir u ⱪurup, pahtilixip ketiptu.
Lo, the loaves were taken up warm when we departed from our houses, so that we might come to you. Now they have become dry and broken, due to age.
13 Bu xarab tulumliri bolsa xarab ⱪaqiliƣanda yengi idi, mana ǝmdi yirtilip ketiptu. Biz kiygǝn bu kiyimlǝr wǝ kǝxlǝr sǝpǝrning intayin uzunluⱪidin konirap kǝtti, — dedi.
These wineskins were new when we filled them, now they are torn and broken. The garments we are wearing, and the shoes we have on our feet, due to the great length of the distance, have become worn and are nearly consumed.”
14 Xuning bilǝn Israillar ularning ozuⱪ-tülükidin azraⱪ aldi, lekin Pǝrwǝrdigardin yol sorimidi.
And so they accepted this, because of their provisions, and they did not consult the mouth of the Lord.
15 Xundaⱪ ⱪilip, Yǝxua ular bilǝn sülⱨi tüzüp, ularni tirik ⱪoyuxⱪa ular bilǝn ǝⱨd baƣlidi; jamaǝt ǝmirlirimu ularƣa ⱪǝsǝm ⱪilip bǝrdi.
And Joshua made peace with them, and entering into a pact, he promised that they would not be put to death. The leaders of the multitude also swore to them.
16 Ular ǝⱨdǝ baƣlixip üq kündin keyin, bu hǝlⱪning ɵzlirigǝ ⱪoxna ikǝnlikini, ɵzlirining arisida olturuxluⱪ ikǝnliki ularƣa mǝlum boldi.
Then, three days after the pact was formed, they heard that they lived in the vicinity, and that they would soon be among them.
17 Israillar sǝpirini dawamlaxturup üqinqi küni ularning xǝⱨǝrlirigǝ yetip kǝldi; ularning xǝⱨǝrliri Gibeon, Kǝfiraⱨ, Bǝǝrot bilǝn Kiriat-yearim idi.
And so the sons of Israel moved the camp, and they arrived at their cities on the third day, those which are called: Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kiriath-jearim.
18 Jamaǝtning ǝmirliri ilgiri Israilning Hudasi Pǝrwǝrdigarning nami bilǝn ularƣa ⱪǝsǝm ⱪilƣan bolƣaqⱪa, Israillar ularƣa ⱨujum ⱪilmidi. Buning bilǝn pütkül jamaǝt ǝmirlǝr üstidin ƣotuldaxⱪili turdi.
And they did not strike them, because the leaders of the multitude had sworn to them in the name of the Lord, the God of Israel. And so all of the common people murmured against the leaders.
19 Lekin ǝmirlǝrning ⱨǝmmisi pütkül jamaǝtkǝ: — Biz ularƣa Israilning Hudasi Pǝrwǝrdigarning [nami] bilǝn ⱪǝsǝm ⱪilip bǝrgǝqkǝ, ularƣa ⱪol tǝgküzǝlmǝymiz.
And they responded to them: “We have sworn to them in the name of the Lord, the God of Israel, and for that reason, we are not able to touch them.
20 Biz ularƣa ⱪilƣan ⱪǝsǝmimiz tüpǝylidin, üstimizgǝ ƣǝzǝp qüxmǝsliki üqün ularni tirik ⱪalduruxmiz kerǝk; ularƣa xundaⱪ ⱪilmisaⱪ bolmaydu, dedi.
But we shall do this to them: Certainly, let them be preserved so that they may live, lest the wrath of the Lord be stirred up against us, since we would have sworn falsely.
21 Andin ǝmirlǝr jamaǝtkǝ yǝnǝ: — Ularni tirik ⱪoyunglar; ⱨalbuki, ular pütkül jamaǝt üqün otun yarƣuqi wǝ su toxuƣuqilar bolidu, dedi. Bu ix ǝmirlǝr jamaǝtkǝ degǝndǝk boldi.
But though they live, let them serve the entire multitude by cutting wood and carrying water.” And while they were discussing these things,
22 U waⱪitta Yǝxua ularni qaⱪirip ularƣa: — Silǝr arimizdiki yǝrliklǝr turup, nemixⱪa biz yiraⱪtin kǝlduⱪ, dǝp bizni aldidinglar?
Joshua called the Gibeonites, and he said to them: “Why would you be willing to deceive us by fraud, saying, ‘We live very far away from you,’ when you are in our midst?
23 Buning üqün silǝr ǝmdi lǝnǝtkǝ ⱪelip, aranglarda Hudayimning ɵyi üqün otun yaridiƣan wǝ su toxuydiƣan ⱪul boluxtin birǝr adǝmmu mustǝsna bolmaydu, — dedi.
Therefore, you shall be under a curse, and your stock shall not cease to be cutters of wood and carriers of water, into the house of my God.”
24 Xuning bilǝn ular Yǝxuaƣa jawab berip: — Pǝrwǝrdigar Hudayingning Ɵz ⱪuli bolƣan Musaƣa ǝmr ⱪilip, barliⱪ zeminni silǝrgǝ berixkǝ, xundaⱪla zeminda turuwatⱪanlarning ⱨǝmmisini aldinglardin yoⱪitixⱪa wǝdǝ ⱪilƣanliⱪi ⱪulliring bolƣan peⱪirlarƣa eniⱪ mǝlum ⱪilindi; xunga biz silǝrning tüpǝylinglardin jenimizdin jǝzmǝn ayrilip ⱪalimiz dǝp wǝⱨimigǝ qüxüp, bu ixni ⱪilip salduⱪ.
And they responded: “It was reported to us, your servants, that the Lord your God had promised his servant Moses that he would give you the entire land, and that he would destroy all its inhabitants. Therefore, we were very afraid, and we made a provision for our lives, compelled by the dread of you, and we undertook this counsel.
25 Əmdi biz ⱪolungƣa qüxtuⱪ; nǝziringgǝ nemǝ yahxi wǝ durus kɵrünsǝ xuni ⱪilƣin, — dedi.
And now we are in your hand. Act toward us as it seems good and right to you.”
26 Yǝxua ǝnǝ xundaⱪ ⱪilix bilǝn ularni Israilning ⱪolidin ⱪutⱪuzdi; Israillar ularni ɵltürmidi.
Therefore, Joshua did just as he had said, and he freed them from the hand of the sons of Israel, so that they would not be killed.
27 Lekin xu küni Yǝxua Pǝrwǝrdigar tallaydiƣan jayda jamaǝt üqün wǝ Pǝrwǝrdigarning ⱪurbangaⱨi üqün ularni otun yarƣuqilar wǝ su toxuƣuqilar dǝp bekitti. Ular bügüngǝ ⱪǝdǝr xundaⱪ ⱪilip kǝlmǝktǝ.
And he decreed on that day, that they would be in the ministry of all the people and of the altar of the Lord, cutting wood and carrying water, even until this present time, in the place which the Lord had chosen.
