< Yunus 4 >
1 Əmma bu ix Yunusni intayin narazi ⱪilip, uni ⱪattiⱪ ƣǝzǝplǝndürdi.
But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was angry.
2 U Pǝrwǝrdigarƣa: — «Aⱨ, Pǝrwǝrdigar, ɵz yurtumdiki qaƣda Sening xundaⱪ ⱪilidiƣanliⱪingni demigǝnmidim? Xunga mǝn ǝslidǝ Tarxixⱪa ⱪaqmaⱪqi bolƣanmǝn; qünki mǝn bilimǝnki, Sǝn meⱨir-xǝpⱪǝtlik, rǝⱨimdil, asan ƣǝzǝplǝnmǝydiƣan, qongⱪur meⱨribanliⱪⱪa tolƣan, kixilǝrning bexiƣa külpǝt qüxürüxtin yanƣuqi Hudadursǝn.
And he prayed to Jehovah, and said, I pray thee, O Jehovah, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I hastened to flee to Tarshish, for I knew that thou are a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and relent thee of the evil.
3 Əmdi Pǝrwǝrdigar, jenimni mǝndin elip kǝt, ɵlüm mǝn üqün yaxaxtin ǝwzǝl» — dedi.
Therefore now, O Jehovah, I beseech thee, take my life from me, for it is better for me to die than to live.
4 Pǝrwǝrdigar uningdin: — Bundaⱪ aqqiⱪlanƣining toƣrimu? — dǝp soridi.
And Jehovah said, Do thou well to be angry?
5 Andin keyin Yunus xǝⱨǝrdin qiⱪip, xǝⱨǝrning xǝrⱪiy tǝripigǝ berip olturdi. U xu yǝrdǝ ɵzigǝ bir qǝllǝ yasap, xǝⱨǝrdǝ zadi nemǝ ixlar bolarkin dǝp uning sayisidǝ olturdi.
Then Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made himself a booth, and sat under it in the shade, till he might see what would become of the city.
6 Pǝrwǝrdigar Huda Yunusni ɵz parakǝndiqilikidin ⱪutⱪuzux üqün, uning bexiƣa sayǝ qüxsun dǝp uningƣa bir kiqik dǝrǝhni ɵstürüp tǝyyarlidi. Yunus kiqik dǝrǝhtin intayin hursǝn boldi.
And Jehovah God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shade over his head, to deliver him from his misery. So Jonah was very glad because of the gourd.
7 Biraⱪ ikkinqi küni tang atⱪanda Huda bir ⱪurtni tǝyyarlap ǝwǝtti. Ⱪurt bu kiqik dǝrǝhni pilikigǝ zǝrbǝ ⱪilip uni ⱪurutuwǝtti.
But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd, that it withered.
8 Kün ⱪizarƣanda, Huda intayin issiⱪ bir xǝrⱪ xamilini tǝyyarlidi; kün tǝptini Yunusning bexiƣa qüxürdi, uni ⱨalidin kǝtküzdi. U ɵzigǝ ɵlüm tilǝp: — Ɵlüm mǝn üqün yaxaxtin ǝwzǝl, — dedi.
And it came to pass, when the sun arose, that God prepared a sultry east wind, and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and requested for himself that he might die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.
9 Biraⱪ Huda uningdin: — Sening axu kiqik dǝrǝh sǝwǝbidin xundaⱪ aqqiⱪlinixing toƣrimu? — dǝp soridi. U jawab berip: — Ⱨǝǝ, ⱨǝtta ɵlgüdǝk aqqiⱪim kǝlgini toƣridur, — dedi.
And God said to Jonah, Do thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even to death.
10 Pǝrwǝrdigar uningƣa mundaⱪ dedi: — «Sǝn ⱨeq ǝjringni singdürmigǝn ⱨǝm ɵzüng ɵstürmigǝn bu kiqik dǝrǝhkǝ iqingni aƣritting; biraⱪ u bir keqidila ɵzi ɵsüp, bir keqidila ⱪurup kǝtti;
And Jehovah said, Thou have had regard for the gourd, for which thou have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night, and perished in a night.
11 Əmdi Mening ong ⱪoli bilǝn sol ⱪolini pǝrⱪ etǝlmǝydiƣan yüz yigirmǝ ming adǝm olturaⱪlaxⱪan, xundaⱪla nurƣun mal-waranlirimu bolƣan Ninǝwǝdǝk bundaⱪ büyük xǝⱨǝrdikilǝrgǝ iqimni aƣritip rǝⱨim ⱪiliximƣa toƣra kǝlmǝmdu?».
And should not I have regard for Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand men who cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand, and also much cattle?
