< Yunus 3 >
1 Pǝrwǝrdigarning sɵzi ikkinqi ⱪetim Yunusⱪa yetip mundaⱪ deyildi: —
And the word of the LORD came to Jonah the second time, saying,
2 «Ornungdin tur, Ninǝwǝ degǝn axu büyük xǝⱨǝrgǝ berip, Mǝn sanga tapxurƣan hǝwǝrni ularƣa jakarla».
Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the preaching that I bid thee.
3 Yunus ornidin turup Pǝrwǝrdigarning sɵzi boyiqǝ Ninǝwǝ xǝⱨirigǝ bardi. Ninǝwǝ bolsa naⱨayiti büyük bir xǝⱨǝr bolup, xǝⱨǝrning ɵzila üq künlük yol idi.
So Jonah arose, and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days’ journey.
4 Yunus xǝⱨǝr iqigǝ kirip bir kün mangdi, u: — Ⱪiriⱪ kündin keyin, Ninǝwǝ xǝⱨiri wǝyran ⱪilinidu! — dǝp jakarlidi.
And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
5 Ninǝwǝdikilǝr Hudaning sɵzigǝ ixǝndi. Ular roza tutulsun dǝp elan ⱪilip, mɵtiwǝrlǝrdin tartip ǝng kiqikigiqǝ ularning ⱨǝmmisi bɵz kiyim kiydi.
So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
6 Bu sɵz padixaⱨⱪa yǝtkǝndǝ, umu tǝhtidin turup, tonini taxlap bɵz kiyim kiyip küllükkǝ kirip olturdi.
For word came to the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
7 U yǝnǝ ǝmri arⱪiliⱪ pütkül Ninǝwǝ xǝⱨirigǝ munularni jakarlidi: — «Padixaⱨ ⱨǝm aⱪsɵngǝklǝrning yarliⱪi boyiqǝ, Ninǝwǝ xǝⱨiridiki ⱨeqⱪandaⱪ adǝm, at-ulaƣ, kala, ⱪoy padiliri ⱨeqnǝrsigǝ eƣiz tǝgmisun; ⱨeqnǝrsini yemisun, sumu iqmisun.
And he caused it to be proclaimed and declared through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
8 Ⱨǝrbir adǝm wǝ ⱨaywan bɵz kiysun, ⱨǝrbiri Hudaƣa ⱪattiⱪ pǝryad kɵtürsun; ⱨǝrbiri yaman yoldin yansun, ⱨǝrbiri ⱪolini zorawanliⱪtin üzsun;
But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
9 kim bilidu, buning bilǝn Huda ⱪattiⱪ ƣǝzipidin yenip bizni ⱨalak ⱪilmasmikin?».
Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
10 Xuning bilǝn Huda ularning ǝmǝllirini, yǝni yaman yollardin yanƣanliⱪini kɵrüp, ularƣa ⱪaratⱪan bala-ⱪazani qüxürüxtin yenip, xu baliyaⱪazani qüxürmidi.
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do to them; and he did it not.
