< Yuⱨanna 1 >

1 Muⱪǝddǝmdǝ «Kalam» bar idi; Kalam Huda bilǝn billǝ idi ⱨǝm Kalam Huda idi.
In the Beginning the Word was; and the Word was with God; and the Word was God.
2 U muⱪǝddǝmdǝ Huda bilǝn billǝ idi.
He was in the Beginning with God;
3 U arⱪiliⱪ barliⱪ mǝwjudatlar yaritildi wǝ barliⱪ yaritilƣanlarning ⱨeqbiri uningsiz yaritilƣan ǝmǝs.
through him all things came into being, and nothing came into being apart from him.
4 Uningda ⱨayatliⱪ bar idi wǝ xu ⱨayatliⱪ insanlarƣa nur elip kǝldi.
That which came into being in him was Life; and the Life was the Light of Man;
5 Wǝ nur ⱪarangƣuluⱪta parlaydu wǝ ⱪarangƣuluⱪ bolsa nurni ⱨeq besip qüxǝligǝn ǝmǝs.
and the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness never overpowered it.
6 Bir adǝm Hudadin kǝldi. Uning ismi Yǝⱨya idi.
There appeared a man sent from God, whose name was John;
7 U guwaⱨliⱪ berix üqün, yǝni ⱨǝmmǝ insan ɵzi arⱪiliⱪ ixǝndürülsun, dǝp nurƣa guwaⱨqi boluxⱪa kǝlgǝnidi.
he came as a witness — to bear witness to the Light that through him all men might believe.
8 [Yǝⱨyaning] ɵzi xu nur ǝmǝs, bǝlki pǝⱪǝt xu nurƣa guwaⱨliⱪ berixkǝ kǝlgǝnidi.
He was not the Light, but he came to bear witness to the Light.
9 Ⱨǝⱪiⱪiy nur, yǝni pütkül insanni yorutⱪuqi nur dunyaƣa keliwatⱪanidi.
That was the True Light which enlightens every man coming into the world.
10 U dunyada bolƣan wǝ dunya u arⱪiliⱪ barliⱪⱪa kǝltürülgǝn bolsimu, lekin dunya uni tonumidi.
He was in the world; and through him the world came into being — yet the world did not know him.
11 U ɵziningkilǝrgǝ kǝlgǝn bolsimu, biraⱪ uni ɵz hǝlⱪi ⱪobul ⱪilmidi.
He came to his own — yet his own did not receive him.
12 Xundaⱪtimu, u ɵzini ⱪobul ⱪilƣanlar, yǝni ɵz namiƣa etiⱪad ⱪilƣanlarning ⱨǝmmisigǝ Hudaning pǝrzǝnti bolux ⱨoⱪuⱪini ata ⱪildi.
But to all who did receive him he gave power to become Children of God — to those who believe in his Name.
13 Uni ⱪobul ⱪilƣan muxular ya ⱪandin, ya ǝtlǝrdin, ya insan iradisidin ǝmǝs, bǝlki Hudadin tɵrǝlgǝn bolidu.
For not to natural conception, nor to human instincts, nor to will of man did they owe the new Life, but to God.
14 Kalam insan boldi ⱨǝm arimizda makanlaxti wǝ biz uning xan-xǝripigǝ ⱪariduⱪ; u xan-xǝrǝp bolsa, Atining yenidin kǝlgǝn, meⱨir-xǝpⱪǝt wǝ ⱨǝⱪiⱪǝtkǝ tolƣan birdinbir yeganǝ Oƣliningkidur.
And the Word became Man, and dwelt among us, (We saw his glory — the glory of the Only Son sent from the Father), full of love and truth.
15 (Yǝⱨya uningƣa guwaⱨliⱪ berip: — Mana, mǝn [silǝrgǝ]: «Mǝndin keyin kǝlgüqi mǝndin üstündur, qünki u mǝn dunyaƣa kelixtin burunla bolƣanidi» deginim dǝl muxu kixidur! — dǝp jar ⱪildi)
(John bears witness to him; he cried aloud — for it was he who spoke — “‘He who is Coming’ after me is now before me, for he was ever first”);
16 Qünki ⱨǝmmimiz uningdiki tolup taxⱪanlardin iltipat üstigǝ iltipat alduⱪ.
out of his fullness we have all received some gift, gift after gift of love;
17 Qünki Tǝwrat ⱪanuni Musa [pǝyƣǝmbǝr] arⱪiliⱪ yǝtküzülgǝnidi; lekin meⱨir-xǝpⱪǝt wǝ ⱨǝⱪiⱪǝt Əysa Mǝsiⱨ arⱪiliⱪ yǝtküzüldi.
for the Law was given through Moses, love and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18 Hudani ⱨeqkim kɵrüp baⱪⱪan ǝmǝs; biraⱪ Atining ⱪuqiⱪida turƣuqi, yǝni birdinbir Oƣul Uni ayan ⱪildi.
No man has ever yet seen God; God the Only Son, who is ever with the Father — He has revealed him.
19 Yerusalemdiki Yǝⱨudiylar Yǝⱨyadin «Sǝn kimsǝn?» dǝp sürüxtǝ ⱪilixⱪa kaⱨinlar bilǝn Lawiylarni uning yeniƣa ǝwǝtkǝndǝ, uning ularƣa jawabǝn bǝrgǝn guwaⱨliⱪi mundaⱪ idi:
When the Jews sent some Priests and Levites to John from Jerusalem, to ask — “Who are you?”, his statement was this:
20 U etirap ⱪilip, ⱨeq ikkilǝnmǝy: — «Mǝn Mǝsiⱨ ǝmǝsmǝn» — dǝp eniⱪ etirap ⱪildi.
He confessed and did not deny it, he confessed — “I am not the Christ.”
21 Ular uningdin: — Undaⱪta ɵzüng kim bolisǝn? Ilyas [pǝyƣǝmbǝr]musǝn? — dǝp soridi. — Yaⱪ, mǝn u ǝmǝsmǝn, — dedi u. — Əmisǝ, sǝn ⱨeliⱪi pǝyƣǝmbǝrmusǝn? — dǝp soridi ular. U yǝnǝ: — Yaⱪ! — dedi.
“What then?” they asked. “Are you Elijah?” “No,” he said, “I am not.” “Are you ‘the Prophet’?” He answered, “No.”
22 Xunga ular uningdin: — Undaⱪta, sǝn zadi kim bolisǝn? Bizni ǝwǝtkǝnlǝrgǝ jawab beriximiz üqün, [bizgǝ eytⱪin], ɵzüng toƣruluⱪ nemǝ dǝysǝn? — dǝp soridi.
“Who then are you?” they continued; “tell us, that we may have some answer to give to those who have sent us. What do you say about yourself?”
23 Yǝⱨya mundaⱪ jawab bǝrdi: — Yǝxaya pǝyƣǝmbǝr burun eytⱪandǝk, qɵldǝ «Rǝbning yolini tüz ⱪilinglar» dǝp towlaydiƣan awazdurmǝn!
“I,” he answered, “am — ‘The voice of one crying aloud in the Wilderness — “straighten the way of the Lord”’, as the Prophet Isaiah said.”
24 Əmdi [Yerusalemdin] ǝwǝtilgǝnlǝr Pǝrisiylǝrdin idi. Ular yǝnǝ Yǝⱨyadin: — Sǝn ya Mǝsiⱨ, ya Ilyas yaki ⱨeliⱪi pǝyƣǝmbǝr bolmisang, nemǝ dǝp kixilǝrni suƣa qɵmüldürisǝn? — dǝp soridi.
These men had been sent from the Pharisees;
and their next question was: “Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor yet ‘the Prophet’?”
26 Yǝⱨya ularƣa mundaⱪ dǝp jawab bǝrdi: — Mǝn kixilǝrni suƣila qɵmüldürimǝn, lekin aranglarda turƣuqi silǝr tonumiƣan birsi bar;
John’s answer was — “I baptize with water, but among you stands one whom you do not know;
27 u mǝndin keyin kǝlgüqi bolup, mǝn ⱨǝtta uning kǝxining boƣⱪuqini yexixkimu layiⱪ ǝmǝsmǝn!
he is coming after me, yet I am not worthy even to unfasten his sandal.”
28 Bu ixlar Iordan dǝryasining xǝrⱪiy ⱪetidiki Bǝyt-Aniya yezisida, yǝni Yǝⱨya pǝyƣǝmbǝr kixilǝrni [suƣa] qɵmüldürüwatⱪan yǝrdǝ yüz bǝrgǝnidi.
All this took place at Bethany, across the Jordan, where John was then baptizing.
29 Ətisi, Yǝⱨya Əysaning ɵzigǝ ⱪarap keliwatⱪanliⱪini kɵrüp mundaⱪ dedi: — Mana, pütkül dunyaning gunaⱨlirini elip taxlaydiƣan Hudaning ⱪozisi!
The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him, and exclaimed: “Here is the Lamb of God, who is to take away the sin of the world!
30 Mana, mǝn [silǝrgǝ]: «Mǝndin keyin kǝlgüqi birsi bar, u mǝndin üstündur, qünki u mǝn dunyada boluxtin burunla bolƣanidi» deginim dǝl muxu kixidur!
It was of him that I spoke when I said ‘After me there is coming a man who is now before me, for he was ever First.’
31 Mǝn burun uni bilmisǝmmu, lekin uni Israilƣa ayan bolsun dǝp, kixilǝrni suƣa qɵmüldürgili kǝldim.
I myself did not know him, but, that he may be made known to Israel, I have come, baptizing with water.”
32 Yǝⱨya yǝnǝ guwaⱨliⱪ berip mundaⱪ dedi: — Mǝn Roⱨning pahtǝk ⱨalitidǝ asmandin qüxüp, uning üstigǝ ⱪonƣanliⱪini kɵrdüm.
John also made this statement — “I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of the heavens, and it remained upon him.
33 Mǝn ǝslidǝ uni bilmigǝnidim; lekin meni kixilǝrni suƣa qɵmüldürüxkǝ Əwǝtküqi manga: «Sǝn Roⱨning qüxüp, kimning üstigǝ ⱪonƣanliⱪini kɵrsǝng, u kixilǝrni Muⱪǝddǝs Roⱨⱪa qɵmüldürgüqi bolidu!» degǝnidi.
I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water, he said to me ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining upon him — he it is who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
34 Mǝn dǝrwǝⱪǝ xu ixni kɵrdüm, xunga uning ⱨǝⱪiⱪǝtǝn Hudaning Oƣli ikǝnlikigǝ guwaⱨliⱪ bǝrdim!
This I have seen myself, and I have declared my belief that he is the Son of God.”
35 Ətisi, Yǝⱨya ikki muhlisi bilǝn yǝnǝ xu yǝrdǝ turatti.
The next day, when John was standing with two of his disciples,
36 U [u yǝrdin] mengip ketiwatⱪan Əysani kɵrüp: — Ⱪaranglar! Hudaning ⱪozisi! — dedi.
he looked at Jesus as he passed and exclaimed: “There is the Lamb of God!”
37 Uning bu sɵzini angliƣan ikki muhlis Əysaning kǝynidin mengixti.
The two disciples heard him say this, and followed Jesus.
38 Əysa kǝynigǝ burulup, ularning ǝgixip keliwatⱪinini kɵrüp ulardin: — Nemǝ izdǝysilǝr? — dǝp soridi. Ular: — Rabbi (bu [ibraniyqǝ sɵz bolup], «ustaz» degǝn mǝnidǝ), ⱪǝyǝrdǝ turisǝn? — dedi.
But Jesus turned round, and saw them following. “What are you looking for?” he asked. “Rabbi,” they answered (or, as we should say, ‘Teacher’), “where are you staying?”
39 — Berip kɵrünglar, — dedi u. Xuning bilǝn, ular berip uning ⱪǝyǝrdǝ turidiƣanliⱪini kɵrdi wǝ u küni uning bilǝn billǝ turdi (bu waⱪit xu künning oninqi saiti idi).
“Come, and you shall see,” he replied. So they went, and saw where he was staying, and spent that day with him. It was then about four in the afternoon.
40 Yǝⱨya [pǝyƣǝmbǝrning] yuⱪiriⱪi sɵzini anglap, Əysaning kǝynidin mangƣan ikkiylǝnning biri Simon Petrusning inisi Andriyas idi.
One of the two, who heard what John said and followed Jesus, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
41 Andriyas awwal ɵz akisi Simonni tepip, uningƣa: — Biz «Mǝsiⱨ»ni taptuⱪ! — dedi («Mǝsiⱨ» ibraniyqǝ sɵz bolup, grek tilida «Hristos» dǝp tǝrjimǝ ⱪilinidu)
He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him: “We have found the Messiah!” (a word which means ‘Christ,’ or ‘Consecrated’.)
42 wǝ akisini Əysaning aldiƣa elip bardi. Əysa uningƣa ⱪarap: Sǝn Yunusning oƣli Simon; buningdin keyin «Kifas» dǝp atilisǝn, — dedi (mǝnisi «tax»tur).
Then he brought him to Jesus. Fixing his eyes on him, Jesus said: “You are Simon, the son of John; you shall be called Kephas” (which means ‘Peter,’ or ‘Rock’).
43 Ətisi, Əysa Galiliyǝ ɵlkisigǝ yol almaⱪqi idi. U Filipni tepip, uningƣa: — Manga ǝgixip mang! — dedi
The following day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. He found Philip, and said to him: “Follow me.”
44 (Filip Bǝyt-Saidaliⱪ bolup, Andriyas bilǝn Petrusning yurtdixi idi).
Philip was from Bethsaida, and a fellow-townsman of Andrew and Peter.
45 Filip Nataniyǝlni tepip, uningƣa: — Musa pǝyƣǝmbǝr Tǝwratta wǝ baxⱪa pǝyƣǝmbǝrlǝrmu [yazmilirida] bexarǝt ⱪilip yazƣan zatni taptuⱪ. U bolsa Yüsüpning oƣli Nasarǝtlik Əysa ikǝn! — dedi.
He found Nathanael and said to him: “We have found him of whom Moses wrote in the Law, and of whom the Prophets also wrote — Jesus of Nazareth, Joseph’s son!”
46 Biraⱪ Nataniyǝl: — Nasarǝt degǝn jaydin yahxi birnemǝ qiⱪamdu?! — dedi. Kelip kɵrüp baⱪ! — dedi Filip.
“Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” asked Nathanael. “Come and see,” replied Philip.
47 Əysa Nataniyǝlning ɵzining aldiƣa keliwatⱪanliⱪini kɵrüp, u toƣruluⱪ: — Mana, iqidǝ ⱪilqǝ ⱨiylǝ-mikrisi yoⱪ ⱨǝⱪiⱪiy bir Israilliⱪ! — dedi.
When Jesus saw Nathanael coming towards him, he said: “Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is no deceit!”
48 Nataniyǝl: — Meni ⱪǝyerimdin bilding? — dǝp soridi. Əysa uningƣa jawab berip: — Filip seni qaⱪirixtin awwal, sening ǝnjür dǝrihining tüwidǝ olturƣanliⱪingni kɵrgǝnidim, — dedi.
“How do you know me?” asked Nathanael. “Even before Philip called you,” replied Jesus, “when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
49 Nataniyǝl jawabǝn: — Ustaz, sǝn Hudaning Oƣli, Israilning Padixaⱨisǝn! — dedi.
“Rabbi,” Nathanael exclaimed, “you are the Son of God, you are King of Israel!”
50 Əysa uningƣa jawabǝn: — Seni ǝnjür dǝrihining tüwidǝ kɵrgǝnlikimni eytⱪanliⱪim üqün ixiniwatamsǝn? Buningdinmu qong ixlarni kɵrisǝn! — dedi
“Do you believe in me,” asked Jesus, “because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You shall see greater things than those!
51 wǝ yǝnǝ: — Bǝrⱨǝⱪ, bǝrⱨǝⱪ silǝrgǝ eytip ⱪoyayki, silǝr asmanlar eqilip, Hudaning pǝrixtilirining Insan’oƣlining üstidin qiⱪip-qüxüp yüridiƣanliⱪini kɵrisilǝr! — dedi.
In truth I tell you,” he added, “you shall all see Heaven open, and ‘the angels of God ascending and descending’ upon the Son of Man.”
