< Yaⱪup 4 >
1 Aranglardiki urux wǝ majiralar nǝdin kelip qiⱪidu? Bu dǝl tǝn ǝzaliringlar iqidǝ jǝng ⱪiliwatⱪan arzu-ⱨǝwǝsliringlardin ǝmǝsmu?
Where do wars and fights among you come from? Do they not come from your passions that wage war among your members?
2 Silǝr arzu-ⱨǝwǝs ⱪilisilǝr, lekin arzu-ⱨǝwǝsliringlarƣa erixmǝysilǝr; adǝm olturisilǝr, ⱨǝsǝt ⱪilisilǝr, lekin erixǝlmǝysilǝr; jedǝl-majira qiⱪirip jǝng ⱪilisilǝr. Erixmǝysilǝr, qünki tilimǝysilǝr.
You desire but do not have. You murder and are jealous but cannot obtain what you want. You fight and war. You do not have, because you do not ask.
3 Tilisǝnglarmu erixǝlmǝysilǝr, qünki ɵz arzu-ⱨǝwǝsliringlarni ⱪandurux üqün rǝzil niyǝtlǝr bilǝn tilǝysilǝr.
You ask and do not receive because you ask wrongly, so that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
4 Əy zinahorlar! Bu dunya bilǝn dostlixixning ǝmǝliyǝttǝ Huda bilǝn düxmǝnlixix ikǝnlikini bilmǝmtinglar? Kimdikim bu dunyani dost tutmaⱪqi bolsa, ɵzini Hudaning düxmini ⱪilidu.
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
5 Muⱪǝddǝs yazmilarda: «[Huda] ⱪǝlbimizgǝ makan ⱪildurƣan Roⱨ naqar arzu-ⱨǝwǝslǝrni ⱪilamdu?» degǝn sɵz silǝrqǝ bikar deyilgǝnmu?
Or do you think that the Scripture speaks in vain? The spirit that dwells in us desires to the point of envy,
6 Lekin [Huda] bǝrgǝn meⱨir-xǝpⱪǝt buningdin üstün turidu. Xuning tüpǝylidin muⱪǝddǝs yazmilarda: «Huda tǝkǝbburlarƣa ⱪarxidur, lekin mɵmin-kǝmtǝrlǝrgǝ xǝpⱪǝt ⱪilidu» dǝp yezilƣandur.
but God gives greater grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
7 Xuning üqün, Hudaƣa boysununglar. Xǝytanƣa ⱪarxi turunglar; [xundaⱪ ⱪilsanglar] u silǝrdin ⱪaqidu.
Submit yourselves therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Hudaƣa yeⱪinlixinglar, Hudamu silǝrgǝ yeⱪinlixidu. Əy gunaⱨkarlar, [gunaⱨtin] ⱪolunglarni yuyunglar; ǝy üjmǝ kɵngüllǝr, ⱪǝlbinglarni pak ⱪilinglar.
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 [Gunaⱨliringlarƣa] ⱪayƣu-ⱨǝsrǝt qekinglar, ⱨaza tutup yiƣlanglar, külkǝnglarni matǝmgǝ, huxalliⱪinglarni ⱪayƣuƣa aylandurunglar.
Grieve, mourn, and weep. Turn your laughter into mourning, and your joy into gloom.
10 Rǝbning aldida ɵzünglarni tɵwǝn tutunglar wǝ xundaⱪ ⱪilƣanda U silǝrni üstün ⱪilidu.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
11 I ⱪerindaxlar, bir-biringlarni sɵkmǝnglar. Kimdikim ⱪerindixini sɵksǝ yaki uning üstidin ⱨɵküm ⱪilsa, Tǝwrat ⱪanuninimu sɵkkǝn wǝ uning üstidin ⱨɵküm ⱪilƣan bolidu. Xundaⱪ ⱪilip ⱪanun üstidin [toƣra-natoƣra dǝp] ⱨɵküm ⱪilsang, ⱪanunƣa ǝmǝl ⱪilƣuqi ǝmǝs, bǝlki ɵzüngni [uning üstidin] ⱨɵküm ⱪilƣuqi ⱪiliwalƣan bolisǝn.
Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. He who speaks evil against a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. Now if yoʋ judge the law, yoʋ are not a doer of the law but a judge.
12 Ⱪutⱪuzuxⱪa wǝ ⱨalak ⱪilixⱪa ⱪadir bolƣan, ⱪanun Tüzgüqi wǝ ⱨɵküm Ⱪilƣuqi pǝⱪǝt birdur! Xundaⱪ ikǝn, sǝn baxⱪilar üstidin ⱨɵküm ⱪilƣudǝk zadi kimsǝn?
There is only one lawgiver—he who is able to save and destroy. But who are yoʋ to judge another?
13 Ⱨǝy, «Bügün yaki ǝtǝ palani-püküni xǝⱨǝrgǝ barimiz, u yǝrdǝ bir yil turup, tijarǝt ⱪilip payda tapimiz» degüqilǝr buningƣa ⱪulaⱪ selinglar!
Come now, you who say, “Today and tomorrow let us go to such and such a city, spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.”
14 Əy ǝtǝ nemǝ bolidiƣanliⱪini bilmǝydiƣanlar, ⱨayatinglar nemigǝ ohxaydu? U huddi ƣil-pal pǝyda bolup yoⱪap ketidiƣan bir parqǝ tuman, halas.
You do not know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? It is a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.
15 Buning orniƣa, «Rǝb buyrusa, ⱨayat bolsaⱪ, uni ⱪilimiz, buni ⱪilimiz» deyixinglar kerǝk.
Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, let us live and do this or that.”
16 Lekin ǝmdi silǝr ⱨazir undaⱪ yoƣan gǝpliringlar bilǝn mahtinisilǝr. Bundaⱪ mahtinixlarning ⱨǝmmisi rǝzil ixtur.
But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.
17 Xuningdǝk kimdikim mǝlum yahxi ixni ⱪilixⱪa tegixlik dǝp bilip turup ⱪilmiƣan bolsa, gunaⱨ ⱪilƣan bolidu.
So whoever knows the right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin.
