< Yaⱪup 3 >
1 Ⱪerindaxlirim, aranglardin kɵp kixi tǝlim bǝrgüqi boliwalmanglar! Qünki silǝrgǝ mǝlumki, biz [tǝlim bǝrgüqilǝr] baxⱪilardin tehimu ⱪattiⱪ soraⱪⱪa tartilimiz.
Be ye not many teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive the greater judgment.
2 Qünki ⱨǝmmimiz kɵp ixlarda hatalixip putliximiz. [Ⱨalbuki], ǝgǝr birsi tilda hatalaxmisa, u kamalǝtkǝ yǝtkǝn, pütkül tenini tizginliyǝligǝn adǝm bolidu.
For we all fail in many things; if any one fails not in word, the same is a perfect man, able even to bridle the whole body.
3 Mana, biz atlarni ɵzimizgǝ beⱪindurux üqün aƣziƣa yügǝn salimiz; buning bilǝn pütkül tǝnlirini [haliƣan tǝrǝpkǝ] buriyalaymiz.
But if we put bridles into the mouths of the horses, that they may obey us; and we manage their whole body;
4 Mana, kemilǝrgimu ⱪaranglar; xunqilik yoƣan bolsimu, yǝnǝ kelip dǝⱨxǝtlik xamallar tǝripidin urulup ⱨǝydilidiƣan bolsimu, lekin rolqi ⱪǝyǝrgǝ ularni ⱨǝydǝy desǝ, u kiqikkinǝ bir rol arⱪiliⱪ uni haliƣan tǝrǝpkǝ buraydu.
behold also the ships, being so great, and driven by fierce winds, are managed by the smallest rudder, whithersoever the will of the steersman prefers;
5 Xuningƣa ohxax, gǝrqǝ til [tenimizning] kiqik bir ǝzasi bolsimu, lekin tolimu yoƣan sɵzlǝydu. Kiqikkinǝ bir ot uqⱪunining qong ormanƣa ot tutaxturalaydiƣanliⱪini oylap beⱪinglar!
so also the tongue is a little member, and it boasts great things. Behold, how great a wood a little fire kindles!
6 Til — dǝrwǝⱪǝ bir ottur; u ǝzalirimiz arisidin orun elip ⱪǝbiⱨlikkǝ tolƣan bir alǝm bolidu. U pütkül tǝnni bulƣiƣuqidur; u dozah otidin tutaxturulup, pütkül tǝbiǝtning qaⱪiƣa ot tutaxturidu! (Geenna )
The tongue, a fire, the world of iniquity: the tongue sits down in the midst of our members, and corrupting the whole body, and setting on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire from hell. (Geenna )
7 Qünki ⱨǝrtürlük ⱨaywanlar ⱨǝm uqar-ⱪanatlar, ɵmiligüqi ⱨaywanlar ⱨǝm dengizdiki mǝhluⱪlar insaniyǝt tǝripidin kɵndürülmǝktǝ ⱨǝmdǝ kɵndürülgǝnidi.
For every nature both of wild beasts, and of birds, and of creeping things, and of oceanic animals, is subdued, and has been subjugated to human nature:
8 Əmma tilni ⱨeqkim kɵndürǝlmǝydu; u tinimsiz rǝzil bir nǝrsǝ bolup, janƣa zamin bolidiƣan zǝⱨǝrgǝ tolƣandur.
but no one of men is able to tame the tongue; an incorrigible evil, full of deadly poison.
9 Biz tilimiz bilǝn Pǝrwǝrdigar Atimizƣa xanu-tǝxǝkkür ⱪayturimiz, wǝ yǝnǝ uning bilǝn Hudaning obrazida yaritilƣan insanlarni ⱪarƣaymiz.
With it we bless the Lord, even the Father; and with it we scold the people, who have been made after the image of God:
10 Demǝk, ohxax bir eƣizdin ⱨǝm tǝxǝkkür-mubarǝk ⱨǝm lǝnǝt-ⱪarƣax qiⱪidu. I ⱪerindaxlirim, bundaⱪ bolmasliⱪi kerǝk!
out of the same mouth come forth blessing and scolding. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
11 Bir bulaⱪ ohxax bir kɵzdin birla waⱪitta tatliⱪ ⱨǝm ⱪirtaⱪ su qiⱪiramdu?
Whether does the fountain out of the same chink send forth sweet water and bitter?
12 I ⱪerindaxlirim, ǝnjür dǝrihi zǝytunning mewisini bǝrmǝydu, yaki üzüm teli ǝnjürning mewisini berǝlǝmdu? Ⱨǝm tuzluⱪ [bulaⱪ] tatliⱪ sunimu qiⱪiralmaydu.
My brethren, whether is the fig-tree able to produce olives, or the vine figs? Neither is the bitter fountain able to produce sweet water.
13 Aranglarda kim dana wǝ pǝmlik? Pǝzilǝtlik yürüx-turuxidin u danaliⱪⱪa has bolƣan mɵmin-kǝmtǝrlik bilǝn ǝmǝllirini kɵrsǝtsun!
Who is wise and instructed among you? Let him show forth out of beautiful conduct his works in meekness of wisdom.
14 Lekin ǝgǝr ⱪǝlbinglarda aqqiⱪ ⱨǝsǝthorluⱪ wǝ jedǝl-majira bolsa, ǝmdi yalƣan sɵzlǝr bilǝn ⱨǝⱪiⱪǝtni yoⱪⱪa qiⱪarmanglar, mahtanmanglar.
But if you have bitter envy and strife in your heart, do not boast, and lie against the truth.
15 Bundaⱪ «danaliⱪ» ǝrxtin ǝmǝs, bǝlki dunyaƣa, insan tǝbiiyitigǝ has bolup, jin-xǝytandin kǝlgǝndur.
This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but it is earthly, intellectual, and demoniacal.
16 Qünki ⱨǝsǝthorluⱪ wǝ jedǝl-majira bolƣanla yǝrdǝ ⱪalaymiⱪanqiliⱪ wǝ ⱨǝrhil rǝzilliklǝr bolidu.
For where there are envy and strife, there are contention and every evil work.
17 Lekin ǝrxtin kǝlgǝn danaliⱪ bolsa, u aldi bilǝn paktur, u yǝnǝ tinqliⱪpǝrwǝr, hux peil, baxⱪilarning pikrigǝ ⱪuliⱪi oquⱪ, rǝⱨimdil bolup, yahxi mewilǝr bilǝn tolƣan, uningda tǝrǝpbazliⱪ yaki sahtipǝzlik yoⱪtur.
But the wisdom which is from above is indeed first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easily persuaded, full of mercy and of good works, free from partiality and hypocrisy.
18 Ⱨǝⱪⱪaniyliⱪ uruⱪliri tinqliⱪpǝrwǝrlǝr arisida qeqilip, tinqliⱪ iqidǝ mewǝ beridu.
But the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace to those who are making peace.
