1 Bir küni, Leyaⱨning Yaⱪupⱪa tuƣup bǝrgǝn ⱪizi Dinaⱨ yurtning ⱪizliri bilǝn kɵrüxkili qiⱪti.
Then went forth Dinah, the daughter of Leah, whom she had borne to Jacob, —to see the daughters of the land.
2 Xu yurtning ǝmiri ⱨiwiy Ⱨamorning oƣli Xǝkǝm uni kɵrüp ⱪelip, uni tutuwelip, zorlap nomusiƣa tǝgdi.
And Shechem, son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the land, saw her, —so he took her, and lay with her, and humbled her.
3 Əmma uning kɵngli Yaⱪupning ⱪizi Dinaⱨⱪa qüxüp, uni yahxi kɵrüp ⱪaldi wǝ uningƣa muⱨǝbbiti bilǝn kɵngül soridi.
And his soul clave unto Dinah, daughter of Jacob, —and he loved the young woman, and spake to the heart of the young woman.
4 Xuning bilǝn Xǝkǝm atisi Ⱨamordin: — Bu ⱪizni manga hotunluⱪⱪa elip bǝrgin, dǝp tǝlǝp ⱪildi.
Then spake Shechem unto Hamor his father, saying, —Take me this girl to wife!
5 Yaⱪup [Xǝkǝmning] ⱪizi Dinaⱨning ippitigǝ tǝgkǝnlikini anglap ⱪaldi. Uning oƣulliri malliri bilǝn dalalarda idi; xunga Yaⱪup ular kǝlgüqǝ jim turup turdi.
Now, Jacob, had heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter, but, his sons, happened to be with his cattle in the field, —so Jacob kept quiet until they came in.
6 Xǝkǝmning atisi Ⱨamor Yaⱪupning aldiƣa uning bilǝn sɵzlǝxkili qiⱪti;
Then came forth Hamor, father of Shechem, unto Jacob, —to speak with him.
7 Yaⱪupning oƣulliri hǝwǝrni anglapla dalalardin ⱪaytip kǝlgǝnidi. Bular [Xǝkǝmning] ⱪilmaydiƣan ixni ⱪilip, Yaⱪupning ⱪizining nomusiƣa tegip Israil ⱪǝbilisidǝ xǝrmǝndilik ⱪilƣini üqün azablinip, intayin ⱪattiⱪ ƣǝzǝplǝndi.
Now the sons of Jacob came in from the field as soon as they heard, and the men were grieved, and it was vexing to them exceedingly, —for, a disgraceful deed, had he done with Israel in lying with Jacob’s daughter, seeing that so, it should not be done.
8 Ⱨamor ularƣa sɵz ⱪilip: — Oƣlum Xǝkǝmning kɵngli ⱪizinglarƣa qüxüp ⱪaptu. Iltipat ⱪilip uni oƣlumƣa hotunluⱪⱪa bǝrsǝnglar!
So then Hamor spake with them saying—As for Shechem my son, his soul hath become attached to your daughter, —I pray you give her to him, to wife.
9 Biz bilǝn ⱪuda-baja bolup, ⱪizliringlarni bizgǝ beringlar, bizning ⱪizlirimiznimu silǝr elinglar;
And exchange ye daughters with us in marriage, —your daughters, shall ye give to us, and our daughters, shall ye take to you.
10 Biz bilǝn billǝ turunglar. Mana, yǝr aldinglarda turuptu; bu yǝrni makan ⱪilip, soda ⱪilip, ɵzünglar üqün ɵy-mülük elinglar, — dedi.
And with us, shall ye dwell, —and, the land, shall be before you, tarry, and go through it, and get possessions therein.
11 Xǝkǝm ⱪizning atisi bilǝn aka-ukiliriƣa: — Nǝziringlarda iltipat tapsam dǝymǝn; silǝr nemǝ desǝnglar, xuni berǝy.
Then said Shechem unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find favour in your eyes, —and, whatsoever ye may say unto me, will I give:
12 Mǝndin ⱪanqilik toyluⱪ yaki sowƣat tǝlǝp ⱪilsanglar, manga eytⱪininglarqǝ berǝy; pǝⱪǝt bu ⱪizni manga hotunluⱪⱪa bǝrsǝnglarla bolidu, dedi.
Heap on me, exceedingly, dowry and gift, and I will give, just as ye may say unto me, —but give me the young woman, to wife.
13 Yaⱪupning oƣulliri bolsa Xǝkǝm wǝ atisi Ⱨamorƣa ⱨiylǝ-mikir bilǝn jawab bǝrdi, qünki u singlisi Dinaⱨning ippitigǝ tǝgkǝnidi;
And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and spake (because he had defiled Dinah their sister)—
14 ularƣa: — Biz bundaⱪ ⱪilalmaymiz, singlimizni hǝtnisiz birsigǝ berixkǝ maⱪul deyǝlmǝymiz; qünki bu bizgǝ nomus bolidu.
and said unto them—We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to a man that is uncircumcised, —for a reproach, it would be to us.
15 Pǝⱪǝt bir xǝrtimizgǝ kɵnsǝnglarla silǝrgǝ maⱪul bolimiz; silǝrning barliⱪ ǝrkǝkliringlar hǝtnǝ ⱪilinip bizdǝk bolsa,
Only herein, can we consent to you, —If ye will become like us, by circumcising to you every male,
16 Ⱪizlirimizni silǝrgǝ berip, silǝrning ⱪizliringlarni biz elip aranglarda olturup, bir ⱪowm bolup ⱪalimiz.
then will we give our daughters to you, and your daughters, will we take to us, —and we will dwell with you, and become one people.
17 Əmma bizgǝ ⱪulaⱪ salmay hǝtnǝ ⱪilinixⱪa unimisanglar, undaⱪta biz ⱪizimizni elip ketimiz, — dedi.
But if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised, then will we take our daughter and be gone.
18 Ularning sɵzliri Ⱨamor wǝ oƣli Xǝkǝmning nǝzirigǝ yaⱪti.
And their words looked fair in the eyes of Hamor, —and in the eyes of Shechem, Hamor’s son;
19 Yigit bu ixni kǝynigǝ sozmidi, qünki u Yaⱪupning ⱪiziƣa ejil bolup ⱪalƣanidi; u atisining ɵyidǝ ⱨǝmmidin ǝtiwarliⱪ idi.
and the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob’s daughter, —he, moreover being more honourable than all the house of his father.
20 Xuning bilǝn Ⱨamor oƣli Xǝkǝm bilǝn xǝⱨǝrning dǝrwazisiƣa berip, xǝⱨǝrning adǝmlirigǝ sɵz ⱪilip: —
So Hamor entered with Shechem his son into the gate of their city, —and they spake unto the men of their city, saying:
21 Bu adǝmlǝrning biz bilǝn inaⱪ ɵtküsi bar. Xunga ular muxu yurtta turup soda-setiⱪ ⱪilsun; mana, bu jayningIkki tǝripi ularƣa yǝtküdǝk kǝngridur. Biz ularning ⱪizlirini hotunluⱪⱪa elip, ɵz ⱪizlirimizni ularƣa berimiz.
As for these men, in peace, they are with us—let them therefore dwell in the land and go through it, for, the land, lo! it is roomy on both hands before them, —their daughters, let us take to us for wives, and our daughters, let us give to them.
22 Lekin pǝⱪǝt arimizdiki ⱨǝmmǝ ǝrkǝk ular hǝtnǝ ⱪilinƣandǝk hǝtnǝ ⱪilinsa, u adǝmlǝr arimizda turup biz bilǝn bir hǝlⱪ boluxⱪa maⱪul dǝydu.
Only herein, will the men consent to us, to dwell with us, to become one people, —If we circumcise to us every male, even as they are circumcised.
23 Xu tǝriⱪidǝ ularning mal-tǝǝlluⱪati, ⱨǝmmǝ qarpayliri bizningki bolmamdu? Biz pǝⱪǝt ularƣa maⱪul desǝkla, ular arimizda turidu, — dedi.
Their herds and their substance, and all their beasts, shall they, not be, ours? Only, we must consent to them, that they may dwell with us.
24 Xuning bilǝn xǝⱨǝrning dǝrwazisidin kirip-qiⱪidiƣanlarning ⱨǝmmisi Ⱨamor bilǝn oƣli Xǝkǝmning sɵzigǝ ⱪulaⱪ saldi. Xǝⱨǝrning dǝrwazisidin kirip-qiⱪadiƣanlarning ⱨǝmmisi hǝtnǝ ⱪilindi.
And they hearkened unto Hamor, and unto Shechem his son, even all that were going forth out of the gate of his city, —and every male was circumcised, all that were going forth out of the gate of his city.
25 Əmma üqinqi küni, ular tehiqǝ aƣriⱪ yatⱪinida xundaⱪ boldiki, Yaⱪupning ikki oƣli, yǝni Dinaⱨning akiliri Ximeon bilǝn Lawiy ⱨǝrⱪaysisi ɵz ⱪiliqini elip, xǝⱨǝr hatirjǝmlik iqidǝ turƣinida besip kirip, ⱨǝmmǝ ǝrkǝkni ɵltürüwǝtti;
And it came to pass on the third day, when they were in pain, that two of the sons of Jacob Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brothers, took each man his sword, and came in upon the city, boldly, —and slew every, male;
26 Ular Ⱨamor bilǝn oƣli Xǝkǝmnimu ⱪiliqlap, Dinaⱨni Xǝkǝmning ɵyidin elip kǝtti.
Hamor also, and Shechem his son, slew they with the edge of the sword, —and took Dinah out of the house of Shechem, and came forth,
27 Andin Yaⱪupning [barliⱪ] oƣulliri: «Ular singlimizning nomusiƣa tǝgdi» dǝp, ɵltürülgǝnlǝrning jayiƣa kelip, xǝⱨǝrni bulap-talang ⱪildi.
The sons of Jacob, came in upon the slain and plundered the city, —because they had defiled their sister:
28 Ularning ⱪoy-kala, exǝklirini, xǝⱨǝrdiki ⱨǝmmini, etizliⱪlardiki ⱨǝmmini elip kǝtti,
their flocks, and their herds and their asses, —and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field, they took;
29 Xundaⱪla ularning barliⱪ mal-mülkini bulap-talap, barliⱪ hotun-balilarni ǝsir ⱪilip, ɵy iqidiki barliⱪ nǝrsilǝrnimu ⱪoxup elip kǝtti.
and all their wealth and all their little ones, and their women, took they captive, and seized as plunder, —even all that was in their houses.
30 Yaⱪup Ximeon wǝ Lawiyni ǝyiblǝp: — Silǝr meni balaƣa tiⱪip, zemindikilǝr — Ⱪanaaniylar bilǝn Pǝrizziylǝrning aldida sesittinglar. Bizning adimimiz az bir hǝlⱪturmiz; ular manga ⱪarxi qiⱪip yiƣilip ⱨujum ⱪilidu; xuning bilǝn mǝn wǝ jǝmǝtim wǝyran bolimiz, — dedi.
Then said Jacob unto Simeon and unto Levi—Ye have troubled me by making me odious among them that dwell in the land, among the Canaanites, and among the Perizzites, —I, having only men that may be counted, they will gather themselves, together against me and smite me, —and I shall be destroyed both I and my house.
31 Əmma ular jawab berip: — Əjǝba, singlimizƣa bir paⱨixǝ ayalƣa ⱪilƣandǝk muamilǝ ⱪilsa bolamdu? — dedi.
And they said, —As with a harlot, was he to deal with our sister.
