1 — Ⱪerindaxlar wǝ ata-bowilar! Əmdi ɵzümni aⱪlax sɵzlirimgǝ ⱪulaⱪ salƣaysilǝr, — dedi.
Ye men, brethren and Fathers, heare my defence nowe towards you.
2 Ular Pawlusning ibraniy tilida sɵzliginini anglap, tehimu jim boluxti. U sɵzini dawam ⱪildi:
(And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrewe tongue to them, they kept the more silence, and he sayd)
3 — Mǝn bir Yǝⱨudiy, Kilikiyǝdiki Tarsus xǝⱨiridǝ tuƣuldum; lekin bu xǝⱨǝrdǝ beⱪip qong ⱪilindim, Gamaliyǝlning ⱪol astida ata-bowilirimizƣa tapxurulƣan Tǝwrat ⱪanunining zir-zǝwǝrlirini ⱪoymay ɵginip tǝlim-tǝrbiyǝ aldim. Mǝn silǝrning bügün bolƣininglarƣa ohxax, Huda yoliƣa intayin ⱪizƣin idim.
I am verely a man, which am a Iew, borne in Tarsus in Cilicia, but brought vp in this citie at the feete of Gamaliel, and instructed according to the perfect maner of the Lawe of the Fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
4 Mǝn bu yoldikilǝrni ⱨǝtta ɵltürüxkiqǝ ziyankǝxlik ⱪilip, ularni ǝr-ayal demǝy tutⱪun ⱪilip zindanƣa saldurdum.
And I persecuted this way vnto the death, binding and deliuering into prison both men and women.
5 Bu toƣruluⱪ bax kaⱨin wǝ aliy kengǝxmidiki barliⱪ aⱪsaⱪallarmu manga guwaⱨqidur. Mǝn ulardin Dǝmǝxⱪtiki [Yǝⱨudiy] ⱪerindaxlarƣa yezilƣan hǝtlǝrni tapxuruwelip, xu yǝrdǝ turuwatⱪan bu [yoldikilǝrni] jazalax üqün, ularni tutⱪun ⱪilip Yerusalemƣa apirimǝn dǝp yolƣa qiⱪⱪanidim.
As also ye chiefe Priest doeth beare me witnes, and al the company of the Elders: of whom also I receiued letters vnto the brethren, and went to Damascus to bring them which were there, bound vnto Hierusalem, that they might be punished.
6 Əmdi xundaⱪ boldiki, sǝpǝr ⱪilip Dǝmǝxⱪkǝ yeⱪinlaxⱪanda, qüxkǝ yeⱪin, tuyuⱪsiz asmandin küqlük bir nur qüxüp, ǝtrapimni yorutuwǝtti.
And so it was, as I iourneyed and was come neere vnto Damascus about noone, that suddenly there shone from heauen a great light round about me.
7 Mǝn yǝrgǝ yiⱪilip kǝttim, andin manga: «Saul, Saul, Manga nemixⱪa ziyankǝxlik ⱪilisǝn?» degǝn awazni anglidim.
So I fell vnto the earth, and heard a voyce, saying vnto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou mee?
8 «I Rǝb, sǝn kimsǝn?» dǝp sorisam, U manga: — «Mǝn sǝn ziyankǝxlik ⱪiliwatⱪan Nasarǝtlik Əysadurmǝn!» dedi.
Then I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said to me, I am Iesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.
9 Mǝn bilǝn billǝ mengiwatⱪanlar u nurni kɵrgǝn bolsimu, lekin manga ⱪilƣan sɵzlǝrni qüxǝnmidi.
Moreouer they that were with me, sawe in deede a light and were afraide: but they heard not the voyce of him that spake vnto me.
10 Mǝn yǝnǝ, «I Rǝb, nemǝ ⱪilixim kerǝk?» dǝp sorisam, Rǝb manga, «Ornungdin tur, Dǝmǝxⱪⱪǝ kir, xu yǝrdǝ sǝn ada ⱪilix bekitilgǝn ixlarning ⱨǝmmisi toƣruluⱪ sanga eytip berilidu!» dedi.
Then I sayd, What shall I doe, Lord? And the Lord sayde vnto me, Arise, and goe into Damascus: and there it shall be tolde thee of all things, which are appointed for thee to doe.
11 Ⱨeliⱪi nurning julaliⱪidin kɵzlirim kɵrmǝs bolup ⱪaldi. Yenimdikilǝr ⱪolumdin yetǝklǝp, Dǝmǝxⱪⱪǝ elip kirdi.
So when I could not see for the glory of that light, I was led by the hand of them that were with me, and came into Damascus.
12 U yǝrdǝ Tǝwrat ⱪanuniƣa ihlas baƣliƣan, Dǝmǝxⱪtiki barliⱪ Yǝⱨudiylarning ⱨɵrmitigǝ sazawǝr bolƣan Ananiyas isimlik bir kixi bar idi.
And one Ananias a godly man, as perteining to the Lawe, hauing good report of all the Iewes which dwelt there,
13 U kelip, yenimda turup: «Ⱪerindax Saul, bexingni kɵtürüp ⱪara!» dedi. Mǝn xuan beximni kɵtürüp ⱪarap uni kɵrdum.
Came vnto me, and stoode, and sayd vnto me, Brother Saul, receiue thy sight: and that same houre I looked vpon him.
14 U manga: «Ata-bowilirimizning Hudasi seni iradisini bilixing, Ⱨǝⱪⱪaniy Bolƣuqini kɵrüxüng wǝ uning aƣzidin qiⱪⱪan awazni anglixing üqün alliⱪaqan tallidi.
And he sayd, The God of our fathers hath appointed thee, that thou shouldest knowe his wil, and shouldest see that Iust one, and shouldest heare the voyce of his mouth.
15 Qünki sǝn pütün insanlar aldida kɵrgǝn-angliƣanliringƣa Uning guwaⱨqisi bolisǝn!
For thou shalt be his witnes vnto all men, of the things which thou hast seene and heard.
16 Xundaⱪ ikǝn, sǝn yǝnǝ nemigǝ ⱨayal bolisǝn? Ornungdin turup, Uning namiƣa nida ⱪilip qɵmüldürülüp, gunaⱨliringni yuƣuzƣin!» dedi.
Now therefore why tariest thou? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sinnes, in calling on the Name of the Lord.
17 Xundaⱪ boldiki, Yerusalemƣa ⱪaytip kǝlginimdin keyin, ibadǝthanida dua ⱪiliwatⱪinimda, bir ƣayibanǝ kɵrünüx meni oruwaldi
And it came to passe, that when I was come againe to Hierusalem, and prayed in the Temple, I was in a traunce,
18 wǝ [Rǝbning] manga: «Qapsan bol, Yerusalemdin dǝrⱨal kǝt. Qünki ular sening manga ⱪilƣan guwaⱨliⱪingni ⱪobul ⱪilmaydu!» dǝwatⱪanliⱪini kɵrdüm.
And saw him saying vnto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Hierusalem: for they will not receiue thy witnes concerning me.
19 Mǝn, «I Rǝb, ular mening Sanga etiⱪad ⱪilƣanlarni zindanƣa solap, ⱨǝrbir sinagoglarƣa kirip ularni urƣanliⱪimni bilidu.
Then I sayd, Lord, they know that I prisoned, and beat in euery Synagogue them that beleeued in thee.
20 Sening guwaⱨqing bolƣan Istipanning ⱪeni tɵkülginidǝ, mǝnmu yenida turup uni ɵltürgǝnlǝrning ⱪilmixliriƣa ⱪoxulup, ularning kiyimlirigǝ ⱪarap bǝrdim!» — dedim.
And when the blood of thy martyr Steuen was shed, I also stood by, and consented vnto his death, and kept the clothes of them that slew him.
21 Biraⱪ u manga: «Kǝtkin! Seni yiraⱪtiki ǝllǝrgǝ ǝwǝtimǝn!» — dedi.
Then he sayd vnto me, Depart: for I will send thee farre hence vnto the Gentiles.
22 Pawlus muxu sɵzni degüqǝ halayiⱪ uningƣa ⱪulaⱪ seliwatatti. Lekin buni anglap ular awazini kɵtürüp: — Undaⱪ bir kixi yǝr yüzidin yoⱪitilsun! U tirik turuxⱪa layiⱪ ǝmǝs! — dǝp quⱪan selixti.
And they heard him vnto this worde, but then they lift vp their voyces, and sayd, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not meete that he should liue.
23 Ular qirⱪirixip, qapan-yepinqilirini selip taxlap, topa-qang soruwatⱪanda,
And as they cried and cast off their clothes, and threw dust into the aire,
24 mingbexi Pawlusni ⱪǝl’ǝgǝ elip kirip ketixkǝ ǝmr ⱪiliwidi, halayiⱪning uningƣa nemǝ üqün bundaⱪ quⱪan salidiƣanliⱪini eniⱪlax üqün lǝxkǝrlirigǝ uni ⱪamqilap soraⱪ ⱪilixni buyrudi.
The chiefe captaine commanded him to be led into the castle, and bade that he should be scourged, and examined, that he might knowe wherefore they cryed so on him.
25 Lekin ular Pawlusni ⱪamqilax üqün ƣulaqlitip baƣliƣanda, u yenida turƣan yüzbexiƣa: — Bir Rim puⱪrasini jinayiti bekitilmǝyla ⱪamqilixinglar ⱪanunƣa uyƣunmu? — dedi.
And as they bound him with thongs, Paul sayd vnto the Centurion that stood by, Is it lawfull for you to scourge one that is a Romane, and not condemned?
26 Bu sɵzni angliƣan yüzbexi mingbexining aldiƣa berip: — Siz nemǝ ix ⱪilay dǝwatisiz? Qünki u kixi Rim puⱪrasi ikǝn! — dedi.
Nowe when the Centurion heard it, hee went, and tolde the chiefe captaine, saying, Take heede what thou doest: for this man is a Romane.
27 Mingbexi Pawlusning aldiƣa berip, uningdin: — Manga eytⱪin, sǝn rasttinla Rim puⱪrasimu? — dǝp soridi. — Rast, dedi u.
Then the chiefe captaine came, and sayd to him, Tel me, art thou a Romane? And he said, Yea.
28 — Mǝn naⱨayiti yuⱪiri baⱨada muxu puⱪraliⱪⱪa igǝ boldum, — dedi mingbexi. Pawlus: Əmma mǝn tuƣuluxumdinla xundaⱪ! — dedi.
And the chiefe captaine answered, With a great summe obtained I this freedome. Then Paul sayd, But I was so borne.
29 Xuning bilǝn, uni soraⱪⱪa tartmaⱪqi bolƣan lǝxkǝrlǝr dǝrⱨal uningdin ɵzlirini qǝtkǝ aldi. Mingbeximu uning Rim puⱪrasi ikǝnlikini bilip, uni baƣlatⱪanliⱪi tüpǝylidin ⱪorⱪup kǝtti.
Then straightway they departed from him, which should haue examined him: and the chiefe captaine also was afrayd, after he knewe that hee was a Romane, and that he had bound him.
30 Mingbexi Yǝⱨudiylarning Pawlusning üstidin ⱪilƣan xikayitining ⱨǝⱪiⱪiy sǝwǝbini bilix üqün, ǝtisi uni yexip, bax kaⱨinlar wǝ pütün aliy kengǝxmidikilǝrning bir yǝrgǝ yiƣilixini buyrudi. Andin Pawlusni elip kelip, ularning aldiƣa turƣuzdi.
On the next day, because hee would haue knowen the certaintie wherefore he was accused of the Iewes, he loosed him from his bonds, and commanded the hie Priests and all their Councill to come together: and he brought Paul, and set him before them.
