1 I oghlum, eger dostunggha borun bolghan bolsang, Yat kishining qerzini töleshke qol bériship wede bergen bolsang,
My son, if you be surety for your friend, if you have stricken your hand with a stranger,
2 Eger öz sözüngdin ilin’ghan bolsang, Öz wedeng bilen baghlinip qalsang,
You are snared with the words of your mouth, you are taken with the words of your mouth.
3 U yéqiningning qoligha chüshkenliking üchün, Amal qilip özüngni uningdin qutquz — Derhal yéqiningning yénigha bérip, özüngni kemter tutup [shu ishtin] xaliy qilishini ötünüp sora.
Do this now, my son, and deliver yourself, when you are come into the hand of your friend; go, humble yourself, and make sure your friend.
4 Jeren shikarchining qolidin qutulushqa tirishqandek, Qush owchining qolidin chiqishqa tirishqandek, Qutulmighuche uxlap yatma, Hetta ügdep arammu alma.
Give not sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids.
5
Deliver yourself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
6 I hurun, chömülining yénigha bérip [uningdin ögen], Uning tirikchilik yollirigha qarap dana bol.
Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Ularning bashliqi, emeldari, hökümdari yoq bolsimu,
Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8 Lékin ular yazda yilning éhtiyaji üchün ash topliwalidu, Hosul peslide ozuq teyyarliwalidu.
Provides her meat in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.
9 I hurun, qachan’ghiche uxlap yatisen? Qachan ornungdin turisen?
How long will you sleep, O sluggard? when will you arise out of your sleep?
10 Sen: — Birdem köz yumuwalay, birdem uxliwalay, Birdem qolumni qoshturup yétiwalay, — deysen.
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11 Lékin uxlap yatqanda, miskinlik qaraqchidek kélip séni basidu, Yoqsulluq xuddi qoralliq bulangchidek hujumgha ötidu.
So shall your poverty come as one that travels, and your want as an armed man.
12 Erzimes, peyli buzuq adem hemmila yerde yalghan éytip, peslikni sözleydu.
A naughty person, a wicked man, walks with a fraudulent mouth.
13 U köz qisip, Putliri bilen ishare qilip, Barmaqliri bilen körsitidu;
He winks with his eyes, he speaks with his feet, he teaches with his fingers;
14 Könglide aldamchiliqla yatidu, U daim rezillikning koyida bolidu, Hemmila yerde jédel-majira tériydu.
Frowardness is in his heart, he devises mischief continually; he sows discord.
15 Shunga uninggha békitilgen balayi’qaza uni tuyuqsiz basidu, U biraqla dawalighusiz yanjilidu.
Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
16 Perwerdigar nepretlinidighan alte nerse bar, Berheq, yette nerse Uninggha yirginchliktur.
These six things does the LORD hate: yes, seven are an abomination to him:
17 Ular bolsa, Tekebburluq bilen qaraydighan köz, Yalghan sözleydighan til, Bigunahlarning qénini töküzidighan qol,
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 Suyiqest oylaydighan köngül, Yamanliq qilishqa téz yügüreydighan putlar,
An heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 Yalghan sözleydighan saxta guwahchi, Burader-qérindashliri arisigha bölgünchilik salghuchi kishidur.
A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brothers.
20 I oghlum, atangning emrige emel qil; Anangning körsetmisidin chiqma.
My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of your mother:
21 Ularning sözini qelbingge téngip, Ularni boynunggha marjandek qilip ésiwal.
Bind them continually on your heart, and tie them about your neck.
22 Yolgha chiqqiningda ular séni yétekleydu, Uxlighiningda ular séni saqlaydu, Uyqudin oyghan’ghiningda ular séni xewerlendüridu.
When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and when you wake, it shall talk with you.
23 Chünki [Xudaning] permani yoruq chiragh, Uning muqeddes qanuni nurdur; Terbiyening tenbihliri bolsa hayatliq yolidur.
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
24 Ular séni buzuq xotundin saqlighuchi, Yat xotunning shérin sözliridin yiraq qilghuchidur.
To keep you from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.
25 Uning guzellikige könglüngni baghlimighin, Uning qash-köz oynitishi séni esirge almisun.
Lust not after her beauty in your heart; neither let her take you with her eyelids.
26 Chünki buzuq ayallar tüpeylidin ademler bir parche nan’ghimu zar bolidu, Yat ademning [zinaxor] ayali bolsa kishining qimmetlik jénini özige ow qiliwalidu.
For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.
27 Otni qoynunggha salsang, Öz kiyimingni köydürmemsen?
Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
28 Choghning üstide dessep mangsang putungni köydürmemsen?
Can one go on hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
29 Bashqilarning ayali bilen bir orunda yatidighan kishi shundaq bolidu; Kim uninggha tégip ketse aqiwitidin qutulalmaydu.
So he that goes in to his neighbor’s wife; whoever touches her shall not be innocent.
30 Ach qalghanda qorsiqini toyghuzush üchün oghriliq qilghan kishini bashqilar kemsitmeydu;
Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;
31 Shundaq turuqluq u tutulup qalsa, Igisige yettini töleshke toghra kélidu; U öz öyidiki hemme nersisini tapshuridu.
But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
32 Halbuki, bashqilarning xotuni bilen zina qilghuchi uningdinmu [better bolup], tolimu ghepletliktur; Undaq qilghuchi öz-özini halak qilidu.
But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding: he that does it destroys his own soul.
33 U zexmet yeydu, shermende bolidu, Uning reswasi héch öchürülmeydu.
A wound and dishonor shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.
34 Chünki künlesh oti erni derghezepke keltüridu, Intiqam alghan künide u héch rehim qilmaydu.
For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.
35 Tölem puli bérey désengmu u qobul qilmaydu, Herqanche sowgha-salam bersengmu uni bésiqturghili bolmaydu.
He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts.
