< Pend-nesihetler 5 >

1 I oghlum, danaliqimgha köngül qoyghin, Idraklik sözlirimge qulaq salghin.
My son, attend unto my wisdom; incline thine ear to my understanding:
2 Shundaq qilghiningda ishqa sezgürlük bilen qaraydighan bolisen, Lewliring pem-parasettin ayrilmaydu.
That thou mayest preserve discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.
3 Chünki buzuq xotunning aghzidin hesel tamidu, Lewliri zeytun yéghidin siliqtur;
For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
4 Lékin uning aqiwiti kekridek achchiq, Ikki bisliq qilichtek ötkür.
But her latter end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
5 Uning qedemliri ölüm girdawigha élip baridu, Tutqan yoli görge bashlaydu. (Sheol h7585)
Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on Sheol; (Sheol h7585)
6 Hayatliq yolini qilche bilgüm yoq dep, Basqan qedemliri turaqsiz bolidu, Nege baridighanliqini héch bilmeydu.
So that she findeth not the level path of life: her ways are unstable [and] she knoweth [it] not.
7 Shunga, i oghullirim, sözlirimni köngül qoyup anglanglar, Méning dégenlirimdin chiqmanglar.
Now therefore, [my] sons, hearken unto me, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
8 Undaq xotundin yiraq qach! Ishiki aldighimu yéqin yolima!
Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:
9 Bolmisa, izzet-abruyungni bashqilargha tutquzup qoyisen, [Yashliq] yilliringni rehimsizlerning qoligha tapshurisen!
Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:
10 Yat ademler bayliqliring bilen özini tolduridu, Japaliq ejirliringning méwisi yaqa yurtluqning öyige ötüp kétidu;
Lest strangers be filled with thy strength; and thy labours [be] in the house of an alien;
11 Ejilingde nale-peryad kötürginingde, Ezayi-bedining yem bolghanda,
And thou mourn at thy latter end, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,
12 Shu chaghda sen: — «Ah, nesihetlerdin némanche nepretlen’gendimen! Könglümde tenbihlerni némanche kemsitkendimen!
And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;
13 Némishqa ustazlirimning sözini anglimighandimen? Manga terbiye bergenlerge qulaq salmighandimen?
Neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!
14 Jemiyettimu, jamaet aldidimu herxil nomusqa qalghandek boldum!» — dep qalisen.
I was well nigh in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.
15 Özüngning kölchikingdiki suni ichkin, Öz buliqingdin éqiwatqan sudin huzurlan.
Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.
16 Bulaqliring urghup her yerge tarqilip ketse [bolamdu]? Ériqliringdiki sular kochilarda éqip yürse bolamdu?
Should thy springs be dispersed abroad, and rivers of water in the streets?
17 Bular sangila xas bolsun, Yat kishilerge tegmisun!
Let them be for thyself alone, and not for strangers with thee.
18 Buliqing bext-beriketlik bolghay! Yashliqingda alghan xotunung bilen huzurlan.
Let thy fountain be blessed; and rejoice in the wife of thy youth.
19 U chishi kéyiktek chirayliq! Jerendek söyümlük! Uning baghridin hemishe qanaette bolghaysen, Uning qaynaq muhebbitidin daim xushalliqqa patqaysen.
[As] a loving hind and a pleasant doe, let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
20 I oghlum, némishqa yat ayalgha sheyda bolisen? Némishqa yat xotunning qoynigha özüngni atisen?
For why shouldest thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
21 Chünki insanning hemme qilghanliri Perwerdigarning köz aldida ashkaridur, U uning hemme mangghan yollirini tarazigha sélip turidu.
For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he maketh level all his paths.
22 Yaman ademning öz qebihlikliri özini tuzaqqa chüshüridu, U öz gunahi bilen sirtmaqqa élinidu.
His own iniquities shall take the wicked, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sin.
23 U yolyoruqtin mehrum bolghanliqidin jénidin ayrilidu, Chékidin ashqan hamaqetliki tüpeylidin yoldin ézip kétidu.
He shall die for lack of instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.
