< Pend-nesihetler 3 >
1 I oghlum, telimimni untuma, Dégenlirimni hemishe könglüngde ching tut.
My son, mine instruction, do not thou forget, and, my commandment, let thy heart observe;
2 Chünki u sanga beriketlik künler, uzun ömür we xatirjemlik qoshup béridu.
For, length of days and years of life, and blessedness, shall they add to thee.
3 Méhriban we heq-semimiy bolushtin waz kechme, Bularni boynunggha ésiwal, Qelbingge pütiwal.
Lovingkindness and faithfulness, let them not forsake thee, —bind them, upon thy neck, write them upon the tablet of thy heart:
4 Shundaq qilghanda Xuda we bendilerning neziride iltipatqa layiq bolisen, danishmen hésablinisen.
So find thou favour and good repute, in the eyes of God and man.
5 Öz eqlingge tayanmay, Perwerdigargha chin qelbing bilen tayan’ghin;
Trust thou in Yahweh, with all thy heart, and, unto thine own understanding, do not lean:
6 Qandaqla ish qilsang, Perwerdigarni tonushqa intil; U sanga toghra yollarni körsitidu.
In all thy ways, acknowledge him, and, he, will make straight thy paths.
7 Özüngni eqilliq sanima; Perwerdigardin eyminip, yamanliqtin yiraq bol.
Do not become wise in thine own eyes, revere Yahweh, and avoid evil:
8 Shundaq qilghiningda, bu ishlar derdingge derman, Ustixanliringgha yilik bolidu.
Healing, shall it be to thy body, and refreshing, to thy bones.
9 Perwerdigarning hörmitini qilip mal-dunyayingdin hediyelerni sun’ghin, Étizingdin tunji chiqqan mehsulatliringdin Uninggha atighin;
Honour thou Yahweh, with thy substance, and with the firstfruit of all thine increase;
10 Shundaq qilghiningda, ambarliring ashliqqa tolup tashidu, Sharab kölchekliringde yéngi sharab éship-téship turidu.
So shall thy storehouses be filled with plenty, and, with new wine, shall thy vats overflow.
11 I oghlum, Perwerdigarning terbiyisige biperwaliq qilma, Uning tenbihidin bezme.
The, chastening of Yahweh, my son, do not reject, nor loathe his rebuke;
12 Chünki, ata eziz körgen oghligha tenbih-terbiye bergendek, Perwerdigar kimni söygen bolsa uninggha tenbih-terbiye béridu.
For, whom Yahweh loveth, he correcteth, he causeth pain to the son in whom he delighteth.
13 Danaliqqa muyesser bolghan kishi, Yoruqluqqa ige bolghan kishi némidégen bextlik-he!
How happy the man who hath found wisdom, and the man who draweth forth understanding,
14 Chünki danaliqning paydisi kümüshning paydisidin köptur, Qimmiti sap altunningkidinmu ziyadidur.
For better is her merchandise, than the merchandise of silver, yea, than gold, her increase;
15 U leel-yaqutlardin qimmetliktur, Intizar bolghan herqandaq nersengdin héchbirimu uninggha teng kelmestur.
More precious, is she, than corals, yea, none of thy delightful things, doth equal her:
16 Danaliqning ong qolida uzun ömür, Sol qolida bayliq we shöhret bardur.
Length of days, is in her right hand, in her left, are riches and honour;
17 Uning yolliri sanga xush puraq tuyulur, Uning barliq teriqiliri séni aram tapquzur.
Her ways, are ways of pleasantness, and, all her paths, are peace;
18 U özini tapqan ademge «hayatliq derixi»dur, Uni ching tutqan kishi némidégen bextlik!
A tree of life, is she, to them who secure her, —and, they who hold her fast, are every one to be pronounced happy.
19 Perwerdigar danaliq bilen yer-zéminni berpa qildi, Hékmet bilen asmanni ornatti.
Yahweh, in wisdom, founded the earth, establishing the heavens with understanding;
20 Uning bilimi bilen yerning chongqur qatlamliri yérildi, Hemde bulutlardin shebnem chüshti.
By his knowledge, the resounding deeps were burst open, and, the skies, drop down dew.
21 I oghlum! [Danaliq bilen bilimni] közüngdin chiqarma, Pishqan hékmet we pem-parasetni ching tut.
My son, let them not depart from thine eyes, guard thou counsel, and purpose:
22 Shuning bilen ular jéninggha jan qoshidu, Boynunggha ésilghan ésil marjandek sanga güzellik qoshidu.
So shall they become life to thy soul, and an adorning to thy neck;
23 Shu chaghda yolungda aman-ésen mangalaysen, Yolda putlashmaysen.
Then, shalt thou walk securely in thy way, and, thy foot, shall not stumble;
24 Yatqanda héch némidin qorqmaysen, Yétishing bilenla tatliq uxlaysen.
When thou sittest down, thou shalt have no dread, yea thou shalt lie down, and sweet shall be thy sleep.
25 Béshinggha dehshetlik wehime chüshkende qorqmighin, Rezillerning weyranchiliqidin ghem qilmighin!
Be not thou afraid of sudden dread, nor of the desolation of the lawless, when it cometh.
26 Chünki Perwerdigar séning tayanchingdur, U putungni qapqanlardin néri qilidu.
For, Yahweh, will be in all thy ways, and will keep thy foot from the snare.
27 Peqet qolungdin kelsila, hajetmenlerdin yaxshiliqni ayimighin.
Withhold not good from them who ask it, when it is in power of thy hand to do it:
28 Qolum-qoshniliring séningdin ötne sorap kirse, «Qaytip kétip, ete kelgin, ete bérey» — démigin.
Do not say to thy neighbour, Go and come again, and to-morrow I will give, when thou hast it by thee.
29 Qoshnanggha ziyankeshlik niyitide bolma, Chünki u sanga ishinip yéningda xatirjem yashaydu.
Devise not against thy neighbour an injury, seeing that, he, dwelleth securely by thee.
30 Birsi sanga ziyan yetküzmigen bolsa, Uning bilen sewebsiz majiralashma.
Contend not with a man without cause, if he hath dealt thee no wrong.
31 Zulumxor kishige heset qilma, Uning yol-tedbirliridin héchnémini tallima.
Do not thou envy the man of violence, neither choose thou any of his ways;
32 Chünki qingghir yollarni mangidighanlar Perwerdigarning neziride yirginchliktur, Lékin Uning sirdash dostluqi durus yashawatqan ademge teelluqtur.
For, an abomination to Yahweh, is the tortuous man, but, with the upright, he is intimate.
33 Perwerdigarning leniti rezillik qilghuchining öyididur, Lékin U heqqaniy ademning öyige bext ata qilur.
The curse of Yahweh, is in the house of the lawless one, but, the home of the righteous, he blesseth.
34 Berheq, mesxire qilghuchilarni U mesxire qilidu, Lékin kichik péil kishilerge shepqet körsitidu.
Though at scoffers he scoffeth, yet, to the humbled, he granteth favour.
35 Danalar shöhretke warisliq qilidu, Lékin hamaqetler reswa qilinidu.
Honour, shall the wise inherit, —but, as for dullards, shame shall carry them away.
