1 Sharab kishini reswa qilar, Haraq kishini ghaljirlashturar; Kimki uninggha bérilip ézip ketse, eqilsizdur.
Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray, intoxicated, unintentional sin ·error·by them is not wise.

Adonai detests differing weights, and dishonest scales are not pleasing.
24 Insanning hayatliq qedemlirini Perwerdigar belgileydu; Undaqta insan öz musapisini nedin bilsun?
A man’s steps are from Adonai; how then can man understand his way?
25 Bir nersisini yéniklik bilen «[Xudagha] atalghan!» dep wede bérish, Qesemlerdin kéyin ikkilinip qayta oylinish, Öz jénini qiltaqqa chüshürgen’ge barawer.
It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication, then later to consider his vows.
26 Dana padishah yamanlarni topanni sorughandek soruwétidu, Xaman tepkendek tuluq bilen yanjiwéter.

27 Ademning roh-wijdani — Perwerdigarning chirighidur, U qelbning herbir teglirini tekshürüp perq éter.
The spirit of man is Adonai’s lamp candle, searching all his innermost parts.

Chesed ·Loving-kindness· and faithfulness keep the king safe. His throne is sustained by chesed ·loving-kindness·.

The glory of young men is their strength. The splendor of old men is their gray hair.
30 Terbiye yariliri yamanliqni tazilap chiqirar, Tayaq izliri ich-baghirni taza qilar.
Wounding blows cleanse away evil, and beatings purge the innermost parts.
