1 Peziletlik yolda mangghan kembeghel, Hiyliger sözlük exmeqtin yaxshidur.
Better is a poor man, walking in his integrity, than one of perverse lips, and, he, a dullard.
2 Yene, gheyriti bar kishi bilimsiz bolsa bolmas; Aldirangghu yoldin chiqar.
Surely, for the soul to be, without knowledge, is not good, and, he that hasteth with his feet, strayeth.
3 Kishining exmeqliqi öz yolini astin-üstin qiliwéter; Shundaq turuqluq u könglide Perwerdigardin renjip aghrinar.
The folly of a man, subverteth his way, and, against Yahweh, his heart is angry.
4 Bayliq dostni köp qilar; Miskinler bar dostidinmu ayrilip qalar.
Wealth, addeth many friends, but, the poor man, from his own friend, is parted.
5 Yalghan guwahliq qilghan jazalanmay qalmas; Yalghan éytquchimu jazadin qutulalmas.
A false witness, shall not be held innocent, and, he that uttereth lies, shall not escape.
6 Tola adem séxiydin iltipat közler; Sowghat bérip turghuchigha hemme kishi dosttur.
Many, will entreat the favour of a noble, and, every one, is a friend to a man abounding in gifts.
7 Namratlashqandin qérindashlirimu zériker; Uning dostliri téximu yiraq qachar; Yalwurup qoghlisimu, ular tépilmas.
All the brethren of a poor man, hate him, how much more have, his friends, gone far from him, he may hunt up promises—there are none.
8 Pem-parasetke érishküchi özige köyüner; Nurni saqlighan kishining bexti bolar.
He that acquireth sense, loveth his own soul, he that guardeth understanding, shall find blessing.
9 Yalghan guwahliq qilghan jazalanmay qalmas; Yalghan éytquchimu halak bolar.

10 Heshemetlik turmush exmeqqe yarashmas; Qulning emeldarlar üstidin höküm sürüshi téximu qamlashmas.
Unseemly for a dullard, is delicate living, how much more for, a servant, to bear rule over princes.
11 Danishmenlik igisini asanliqche achchiqlanmaydighan qilar; Xataliqni yoputup kechürüsh uning shöhritidur.
The discretion of a man, deferreth his anger, and, his adorning, is to pass over transgression.
12 Padishahning ghezipi shirning huwlishigha oxshash dehshetlik bolar; Uning shepqiti yumran ot-chöpke chüshken shebnemdek shérindur.
The growl as of a young lion, is the rage of a king, but, like dew upon the grass, is his good pleasure.
13 Exmeq oghul atisi üchün bala-qazadur; Urushqaq xotunning zarlashliri toxtimay témip chüshken tamche-tamche yéghin’gha oxshashtur.
Engulfing ruin to his father, is a son that is a dullard, —and, a continuous dripping, are the contentions of a wife.
14 Öy bilen mal-mülük ata-bowilardin mirastur; Biraq pem-parasetlik xotun Perwerdigarning iltipatidindur.
House and substance, are an inheritance from one’s fathers, but, from Yahweh, cometh a wife who is prudent.
15 Hurunluq kishini gheplet uyqugha gherq qilar; Bikar telep acharchiliqning derdini tartar.
Sloth, falleth into a deep sleep, and, a soul that is indolent, shall famish.
16 [Perwerdigarning] emrige emel qilghan kishi öz jénini saqlar; Öz yolliridin hézi bolmighan kishi öler.
One who guardeth the commandment, guardeth his life, he that is reckless in his ways, shall die.
17 Kembeghellerge rehimdilliq qilghan, Perwerdigargha qerz bergen bilen barawerdur; Uning shepqitini [Perwerdigar] qayturar.
A lender to Yahweh, is one who sheweth favour to the poor, and, his good deed, He will pay him back.
18 Perzentingning terbiyini qobul qilishigha ümidwar bolup, Uni jazalap terbiye bérip turghin; Lékin uni ölgüche xar bolsun dégüchi bolma.
Correct thy son, because there is hope, yet, not so as to slay him, let thy passion be excited.
19 Qehrlik kishi jaza tartar; Uni qutquzmaqchi bolsang, qayta-qayta qutquzushung kérek.
A man in a rage, taketh away the penalty, —nevertheless, if thou let him go free, the more [stripes] must thou add.
20 Nesihetni anglighin, terbiyeni qobul qilghin, Undaq qilghanda kéyinki künliringde dana bolisen.
Hear counsel, receive correction, that thou mayest be wise in thine after-life.
21 Kishining könglide nurghun niyetler bar; Axirida peqet Perwerdigarning dalalet-hidayitidin chiqqan ish aqar.
Many are the devices in a man’s heart, but, the counsel of Yahweh, that, shall stand.
22 Kishining yéqimliqi uning méhir-muhebbitidindur; Miskin bolush yalghanchiliqtin yaxshidur.
The charm of a man, is his lovingkindness, —and better a poor man, than one who deceiveth.
23 Perwerdigardin eyminish kishini hayatqa érishtürer; U kishi xatirjem, toq yashap, bala-qaza chüshürülüshidin xaliy bolar.
The reverence of Yahweh, leadeth to life, satisfied then, let a man remain—let him not be visited by calamity.
24 Hurun qolini sunup qachigha tiqqini bilen, Ghizani aghzigha sélishqimu hurunluq qilar.
A sluggard burieth his hand in the dish, even unto his own mouth, will he not bring it back.
25 Hakawurgha qilin’ghan tayaq jazasi saddigha qilin’ghan ibrettur; Yorutulghan kishige bérilgen tenbih, Uning bilimini téximu ziyade qilar.
The scoffer, thou shalt smite, and, the simple, will beware, but correct a man of intelligence—he will understand teaching.
26 Atisining mélini bulighan, Anisini öyidin heydep chiqarghan, Reswaliq, iza-ahanet qaldurghuchi oghuldur.
He that ruineth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son causing shame and reproach.
27 I oghul, nesihetke quliqingni yupuruwalsang, Eqilning telimliridin yiraqlashqiningdur.
Cease, my son, to hear instruction that would cause thee to wander from the sayings of knowledge.
28 Peskesh guwahchi adaletni mazaq qilghuchidur; Yaman ademning aghzi rezillikni yutar.
An abandoned witness, scorneth justice, and, the mouth of lawless men, swalloweth iniquity.
29 Hakawurlar üchün jazalar teyyardur, Exmeqlerning dümbisige uridighan qamcha teyyardur.
Prepared for scoffers, are punishments, and stripes, for the back of dullards.
