1 Köpchiliktin ayrilip yalghuz yürgen kishi haman öz nepsige chogh tartar; Herqandaq chin hékmetke haman jan-jehli bilen qarshi chiqar.
He that separateth himself seeketh [his] pleasure, he is vehement against all sound wisdom.
2 Exmeq yorutulushqa qiziqmas; Qiziqidighini peqet öz oylighanlirini körsitishla, xalas.
A fool hath no delight in understanding, but only that his heart may reveal itself.
3 Yaman kishi kelse, nepretmu peyda bolar; Nomussiz ish iza-ahanettin ayrilmas.
When the wicked cometh, there cometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach.
4 Ademning sözliri chongqur sulargha oxshar; Danaliq buliqi ériq süyidek örkeshlep aqar.
The words of a man's mouth are deep waters, [and] the fountain of wisdom is a gushing brook.
5 Yaman’gha yan bésishqa, Soraqta heqqaniygha uwal qilishqa qet’iy bolmas.
It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to wrong the righteous in judgment.
6 Exmeqning lewliri uni jédelge bashlar; Uning aghzi «Méni dumbala» dep teklip qilar.
A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for stripes.
7 Exmeqning aghzi öz béshigha halakettur; Uning lewliri öz jénigha qapqandur.
A fool's mouth is destruction to him, and his lips are a snare to his soul.
8 Gheywetxorning sözliri herxil nazunémetlerdek, Kishining qelbige chongqur singdürüler.
The words of a talebearer are as dainty morsels, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
9 Ishida hurun bolghan kishimu, Buzghunchi bilen ülpetdash bolidu.
He also who is indolent in his work is brother of the destroyer.
10 Perwerdigarning nami mezmut munardur; Heqqaniylar uning ichige yügürüp kirip yuqirida aman bolar.
The name of Jehovah is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
11 Bay adem mal-dunyasini «mustehkem shehirim» dep biler; Neziride özini saqlaydighan égiz sépildek turar.
The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as a high wall in his own imagination.
12 Bitchit bolushtin awwal, köngülge tekebburluq kéler; Awwal kemterlik bolsa, andin shöhret kéler.
Before destruction the heart of man is haughty; and before honour [goeth] humility.
13 Sözni anglimay turup, aldirap jawab bergen, Exmeqliqini körsitip özini xijalette qaldurur.
He that giveth answer before he heareth, it is folly and shame unto him.
14 Tendiki aghriq azabigha ademning öz rohi berdashliq bergüzer; Biraq rohi sun’ghan bolsa uni kim kötürer?
The spirit of a man sustaineth his infirmity; but a broken spirit who can bear?
15 Yorutulghanning qelbi bilimge érishmekte, Aqilanining qulaqliri bilimni izdimekte.
The heart of an intelligent [man] getteth knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.
16 Sowghat öz igisige ishikni daghdam échip bérer; Uni chong erbablar aldigha yetküzer.
A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.
17 Dewa qilghanda, awwal sözligüchining sözliri orunluq körüner; Lékin qarshi terep soal qoyup ishni sürüshtürer.
He that is first in his own cause [seemeth] just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.
18 Chek tashlash jédellerni tügiter; Ghojilarning arisidiki ishnimu hel qilar.
The lot causeth contentions to cease, and parteth between the mighty.
19 Renjigen qérindashning könglini élish mustehkem sheherni élishtinmu tes; Jédel-majira qorghanning taqaq-baldaqlirigha oxshashtur.
A brother offended is [harder to be won] than a strong city; and contentions are as the bars of a palace.
20 Adem [durus] sözligenlikidin qorsiqi toq bolar; Öz könglidin chiqqan sözliridin mol hosul alar.
A man's belly is satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; with the increase of his lips is he satisfied.
21 Hayat-mamat tilning ilkididur; Kimki uning tesirini etiwarlisa uning méwisidin yer.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
22 Xotunni tallap alghan kishi yaxshiliq tapidu, U Perwerdigarning merhimitige érishken bolidu.
Whoso hath found a wife hath found a good thing, and hath obtained favour from Jehovah.
23 Miskinler pes awazda yélinip sözler; Bay bolsa qopalliq bilen jawab bérer.
He that is poor speaketh with supplications, but the rich answereth roughly.
24 Dostni köp tutqan kishi xarab bolar; Lékin qérindashtinmu yéqin baghlan’ghan bir dost bardur.
A man of [many] friends will come to ruin but there is a friend [that] sticketh closer than a brother.
