1 Qanliq sheherge way! U yalghanchiliq, zulum-zorawanliq bilen tolghan, U olja élishtin héch qol üzgen emes!
Woe to the bloody city! Full of lies and plunder, without end is the spoil.
2 Ah, qamchining qarsildashliri! Chaqlirining daqangshiwatqan, Atlarning chapchiwatqan, Pingildap kétiwatqan jeng harwilirining sadaliri!
Hear the crack of the whip, hear the rattle of wheels. Galloping horses, jolting chariots.
3 Qara, atliq leshkerlerning qangqishliri, Qilichlarning walildashliri, Neyzilerning palildashliri, Öltürülgenlerning köplüki, Ölükler döwe-döwe! Jesetlerning sani yoqtur; Ular jesetlerge putlishidu.
Horsemen charging, swords flashing, spears glittering, a multitude of slain, a heap of bodies, no end to the corpses over which people stumble!
4 — Séhirlerning piri u, — Ellerni pahishiwazliqi, Jemetlerni séhirliri bilen sétiwétidu; Sen shérinsuxen pahishining nurghun pahishilikliri tüpeylidin,
“Because you acted like a whore, bewitching the nations, enticing the peoples,
5 Mana, Men sanga qarshiliship chiqqanmen, — — deydu samawiy qoshunlarning Serdari bolghan Perwerdigar, Könglikingning étikini qayrip yüzüngge yépip, séni ashkarilaymen, Ellerge uyat yerliringni, Padishahliqlargha nomusungni körsitimen.
I am against you, Nineveh” the Lord of hosts declares. “I will strip your clothes and show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.
6 Üstüngge nijasetni tashlaymen, Séni shermendichilikte qaldurimen, Séni reswa qilimen.
“I will fling loathsome filth at you, and make you an object of contempt, a spectacle,
7 We shundaq boliduki, Séni körgenlerning hemmisi sendin qéchip: — «Ninewe weyran qilindi! Uning üchün kim haza tutidu?» — deydu; Men sanga teselli bergüchilerni nedin tépip bérimen?
so that everyone who sees you will flee from you and say: ‘Nineveh is laid waste, who will mourn for her?’
8 Sen deryalarning otturisida turghan, Etrapida sular bolghan, Istihkami déngiz bolghan, Sépili déngiz bolghan No-Amon shehiridin ewzelmusen?
“Are you any better than Thebes, which stood on the banks of the Nile, with waters around as a rampart, whose wall was the sea of waters?
9 Éfiopiyemu, Misirmu uning küch-qudriti idi, Ularning küchi cheksiz idi; Put hem Liwiyelikler uninggha yardemchi idi;
Her strength was Ethiopia and Egypt. The Libyans were her helpers, and Put with its countless people.
10 Umu élip kétilip, esirlikke chüshken; Barliq kocha béshida bowaqliri chörüp tashliwétildi; Ular uning mötiwerliri üchün chek tashlidi, Uning barliq erbabliri zenjirde baghlan’ghanidi.
Yet she was exiled and made captive. On all corners of the streets her infants were dashed to pieces. Lots were cast for her nobles, all her great ones were bound in chains.
11 Senmu mest bolisen; Sen mökünüwalisen; Sen düshmendin himaye izdep yürisen;
“You too, Nineveh, will be drunk with fear; you too will seek a place of escape from the foe.
12 Séning barliq istihkamliring xuddi tunji méwige kirgen enjür derixining enjürlirige oxshaydu; Birla silkise, ular yégüchining aghzigha chüshidu.
All your fortresses are fig trees with the first ripe figs; if shaken, they fall into the mouth of the eater!
13 Mana, xelqing shehiringde qiz-ayallardek bolup qaldi; Zéminingning qowuqliri düshmenliringge keng ichilidu; Ot tömür taqaqliringni yep kétidu.
Your troops are weak as women before your foes; the gates of your land are wide open; your defenses burned down.
14 Emdi muhasirige teyyarliq qilip su tartip qoy! Qorghanliringni mustehkemle! Séghiz topidin lay étip, Hak layni cheylep qoy! Xumdanni raslap qoy!
“Draw water for the siege, strengthen your forts. Go to the clay pits and tread the clay; take up the brick moulds.
15 Ot séni shu yerde yep kétidu; Qilich séni üzüp tashlaydu; U séni chéketke lichinkisidek yewatidu; Emdi özüngni chéketke lichinkiliridek köp qil, Chéketkidek özüngni zor köp qil!
There the fire will consume you, the sword will cut you down. Multiply like the locust or a swarm of grasshoppers.
16 Sen sodigerliringni asmandiki yultuzlardin köp qilding; Mana, chéketke lichinkisi qanat chiqirip, uchup kétidu!
Increase the numbers of your merchants until they are more than the stars of heaven,
17 Séning erbabliring chéketkilerdek, Serdarliring mijir-mijir chaqchiqizlardek bolidu; Mana ular soghuq künide chitlar ichige kiriwélip makan qilidu; Quyash chiqqanda, ular qéchip kétidu, Barghan yérini tapqili bolmaydu.
until your watchmen are locusts, and your scribes like grasshoppers, which swarm in the hedges on a cold day; but when the sun rises they fly away, no one knows where.
18 Chopanliring mügdep qaldi, i Asuriyening padishahi; Séning aqsöngekliring jim yatidu; Xelqing taghlar üstige tarqilip ketti, Héchkim ularni yighmaydu;
“King of Assyria: your princes slumber, your nobles sleep! Your people are scattered on the mountains with no one to gather them!
19 Séning yarang dawasiz, Séning zexming éghirdur; Xewiringni anglighanlarning hemmisi üstüngdin chawak chalidu; Chünki toxtawsiz rezilliking kimning béshigha kelmigendu?
There is no healing for your hurt, your wound is incurable. All who hear of your fate clap their hands in joy, for who has escaped your limitless cruelty?”
