< Ayup 1 >
1 «Uz» dégen yurtta, Ayup isimlik bir adem yashighanidi. Bu adem bolsa qusursiz, durus, Xudadin qorqidighan, yamanliqtin özini yiraq tutidighan adem idi.
Once there was a man called Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was a man of integrity who did what was right. He respected God and avoided evil.
2 Uningdin yette oghul we üch qiz tughuldi.
He had seven sons and three daughters.
3 Uning yette ming qoy, üch ming töge, besh yüz jüp kala, besh yüz mada éshek qatarliq mal-mülki bar idi. Uning malayliri bek köp idi; u sherqliqler ichide hemmidin ulugh idi.
He owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred teams of oxen, and five hundred female donkeys, as well as many servants. He was more wealthy than anyone else in the East.
4 Uning oghulliri nöwet boyiche békitken künde öz öyide bashqilar üchün dastixan sélip ziyapet qilatti. Bu künlerde ular adem ewetip üch singlisini ular bilen bille tamaqlinishqa chaqiritatti.
Job's sons used to take turns holding feasts in their homes on their specific day, also inviting their sisters to come and eat and drink with them.
5 Ularning shu ziyapet künliri ayaghlishi bilen Ayup adem ewetip ularni Xuda aldida paklinishqa orunlashturatti. U tang seherde ornidin turup ularning sanigha asasen köydürme qurbanliqlarni qilatti. Chünki Ayup: «Balilirim gunah qilip qoyup, könglide Xudagha bihörmetlik qilip qoyamdikin» dep oylaytti. Ayup herdaim ene shundaq qilip turatti.
When the days of feasting were over, Job would send for them and purify them by getting up early in the morning to offer a burnt offering for each of them. He was concerned, thinking to himself, “Maybe my children have sinned in some way and have unintentionally offended God.” This is what Job always did.
6 Bir küni, Xudaning oghulliri Perwerdigarning huzurigha hazir boldi. Sheytanmu ularning arisigha kiriwaldi.
One day the angels came to present themselves to the Lord, and Satan came with them.
7 Perwerdigar Sheytandin: — Nedin kelding? — dep soridi. Sheytan Perwerdigargha jawaben: — Yer yüzini kézip paylap, uyaq-buyaqlarni aylinip chörgilep keldim, dédi.
The Lord asked Satan, “What have you been doing?” “Traveling around on earth, going here and there,” Satan replied.
8 Perwerdigar uninggha: — Méning qulum Ayupqa diqqet qilghansen? Yer yüzide uningdek mukemmel, durus, Xudadin qorqidighan hem yamanliqtin yiraq turidighan adem yoq, — dédi.
“Have you paid attention to Job, my servant?” asked the Lord. “There's no one like him on earth, a man of integrity who does what is right, who respects God and avoids evil.”
9 Sheytan Perwerdigargha jawaben: — Ayup Xudadin bikardin bikar qorqmighandu?
“Is it for nothing that Job respects God?” Satan answered. “You've placed a protective fence around him and his family—in fact around everything he has.
10 Özüng uning özi, ailisidikiliri hem uning hemme nersisining etrapigha qasha qoyghan emesmu? Sen uning qoligha beriket ata qilding, shuning bilen uning teelluqati terep-tereptin güllinip awumaqta.
You have blessed everything he does. His flocks and herds have increased so much they fill the whole land!
11 Eger Sen qolungni sozup, uning hemme nersilirige tégip qoysang, u Sendin yüz örüp, Séni tillimisa [Sheytan bolmay kétey]! — dédi.
But if you reach out and take everything he has, he will definitely curse you to your face.”
12 Perwerdigar Sheytan’gha: — Mana, uning hemme nersisini séning qolunggha tutquzdum! Biraq uning özige tegküchi bolma! — dédi. Shundaq qilip Sheytan Perwerdigarning huzuridin chiqip ketti.
The Lord told Satan, “Very well, you have the power to do whatever you want to everything he has, but don't hurt him physically.” Then Satan left the Lord's presence.
13 Bir küni, Ayupning oghul-qizliri chong akisining öyide tamaq yep, sharab ichip olturatti.
The day came when while Job's sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house,
14 Bir xewerchi Ayupning yénigha kélip uninggha: — Kalilar bilen yer heydewatattuq, éshekler etrapta otlawatatti;
a messenger came to Job and told him, “As the oxen were plowing and female donkeys were grazing nearby,
15 Shébaliqlar hujum qilip kala-ésheklerni bulap ketti. Ishlewatqan yashlarni qilichlap öltüriwetti. Yalghuz menla qutulup qélip, silige xewer yetküzüshke nésip boldi, — dédi.
the Sabeans attacked and took them, killing the herdsmen. Only I escaped to bring you this news.”
16 Bu ademning gépi téxi tügimey turupla, yene birsi yügürüp kélip Ayupqa: — Asmandin Xudaning oti chüshüp qoylar we ishlewatqan yashlarni köydüriwetti; yalghuz menla qutulup qaldim, silige xewer yetküzüshke nésip boldum, — dédi.
While he was still speaking another messenger arrived and said, “The fire of God fell from heaven and set the sheep and shepherds on fire and burned them up. Only I escaped to bring you this news.”
17 Bu ademning gépi téxi tügimey turupla, yene birsi yügürüp kélip Ayupqa: — Kaldiyler üch tereptin hujum qilip tögilerni bulap élip ketti, ishlewatqan yashlarni qilichlap öltürüwetti; yalghuz menla qutulup qaldim, silige xewer yetküzüshke nésip boldum, — dédi.
While he was still speaking another messenger arrived and said, “Three armed companies of Chaldeans attacked the camels and took them, killing the herdsmen. Only I escaped to bring you this news.”
18 Bu ademning gépi téxi tügimey turupla, yene birsi yügürüp kélip Ayupqa: — Oghulliri we qizliri chong akisining öyide tamaq yep, sharab ichip olturghinida,
While he was still speaking another messenger arrived and said, “Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in the house of their eldest brother
19 tuyuqsiz, chöldin qattiq bir boran chiqip öyning töt bulungini qattiq soqup, öy ghulap chüshüp yashlarni öltürüwetti; yalghuz menla qutulup qaldim, silige xewer yetküzüshke nésip boldum, — dédi.
when all of a sudden a tremendous wind came in from the desert. It hit the house on all four sides so that it collapsed on them and they died. Only I escaped to bring you this news.”
20 Ayup bolsa buni anglap ornidin des turup, tonini yirtip, chéchini chüshüriwétip, özini yerge tashlap Xudagha ibadet qildi: —
Then Job stood up and tore his robe. Then cut off his hair and fell to the ground in worship.
21 Men apamning qorsiqidin yalingach chüshken, u yergimu yalingach qaytimen; hemmini Perwerdigar [manga] bergen, emdi Perwerdigar [mendin] élip ketti; Perwerdigarning namigha teshekkür-medhiye qayturulsun! — dédi.
“I was naked when I came out of my mother's womb, and I shall be naked when I leave,” he said. “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away. May the Lord's name be honored.”
22 Bularning hemmiside Ayup gunah qilmidi we yaki Xudani héchqandaq nalayiqliq bilen eyiblimidi.
In all of this Job did not sin, nor blame God.
