< Ayup 8 >
1 Andin Shuxaliq Bildad jawaben mundaq dédi: —
Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 «Sen qachan’ghiche mushularni sözleysen? Aghzingdiki sözler küchlük shamaldek qachan’ghiche chiqidu?
How long wilt thou speak these [things]? and [how long shall] the words of thy mouth [be like] a strong wind?
3 Tengri adaletni burmilighuchimu? Hemmige Qadir adilliqni burmilamdu?
Doth God pervert judgment; or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
4 Séning baliliring Uning aldida gunah qilghan bolsa, U ularnimu itaetsizlikining jazasigha tapshurghan, xalas.
If thy children have sinned against him, and he hath cast them away for their transgression;
5 Biraq eger özüng hazir chin könglüngdin Tengrini izdisengla, Hemmige Qadirgha iltija qilsangla,
If thou wouldst seek to God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;
6 Eger sen sap dil hem durus bolghan bolsang, Shübhisizki, U sen üchün oyghinidu, Choqum séning heqqaniyliqinggha tolghan turalghungni güllendüridu.
If thou [wert] pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.
7 Sen deslepte étibarsiz qaralghan bolsangmu, Biraq sen axirida choqum téximu güllinisen.
Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end would greatly increase.
8 Shunga sendin ötüneyki, ötkenki dewrlerdin sorap baqqin, Ularning ata-bowilirining izdinishlirigimu köngül qoyghin
For inquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:
9 (Chünki biz bolsaq tünügünla tughulghanmiz; Künlirimiz peqet bir saye bolghachqa, héchnémini bilmeymiz).
(For we [are but of] yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth [are] a shadow: )
10 Sanga körsetme bérip ögeteleydighan ular emesmu? Ular öz könglidikini sanga sözlimemdu?
Will they not teach thee, [and] tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?
11 Latqa bolmisa yékenler égiz öselemdu? Qomushluqtiki ot-chöpler susiz öselemdu?
Can the rush grow without mire? can the flag grow without water?
12 Ular yéshil péti bolup, téxiche orulmighan bolsimu, Herqandaq ot-chöptin téz tozup kétidu.
Whilst it [is] yet in its greenness, [and] not cut down, it withereth before any [other] herb.
13 Tengrini untughan kishilerning hemmisining aqiwetliri mana shundaqtur; Iplaslarning ümidi mana shundaq yoqqa kéter.
So [are] the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:
14 Chünki uning tayan’ghini chürük bir nerse, xalas; Uning ishen’gini bolsa ömüchükning toridur, xalas.
Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust [shall be] a spider's web.
15 U öz uwisigha yölinidu, biraq u mezmut turmaydu; U uni ching tutuwalghan bolsimu, biraq u berdashliq bérelmeydu.
He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.
16 U quyash astida kökligen bolsimu, Uning pilekliri öz béghini qaplighan bolsimu,
He [is] green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.
17 Uning yiltizliri tash döwisige chirmiship ketken bolsimu, U tashlar arisida orun izdigen bolsimu,
His roots are wrapped about the heap, [and] seeth the place of stones.
18 Lékin [Xuda] uni ornidin yuliwetse, Ashu yer uningdin ténip: «Men séni körmigen!» — deydu.
If he shall destroy him from his place, then [it] shall deny him, [saying], I have not seen thee.
19 Mana uning yolining shadliqi! Uningdin kéyin ornigha bashqiliri tupraqtin ünidu.
Behold, this [is] the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.
20 Qara, Xuda durus ademni tashlimaydu, Yaki yamanliq qilghuchilarning qolini tutup ularni yölimeydu.
Behold, God will not cast away a perfect [man], neither will he help the evil doers:
21 U yene séning aghzingni külke bilen, Lewliringni shadliq awazliri bilen tolduridu,
Till he shall fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.
22 Sanga nepretlen’genlerge shermendilik chaplinidu, Eskilerning chédiri yoqitilidu».
They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to naught.
