< Ayup 41 >
1 Léwiatanni qarmaq bilen tartalamsen? Uning tilini arghamcha bilen [baghlap] basalamsen?
Dost thou draw leviathan with an angle? And with a rope thou lettest down — his tongue?
2 Uning burnigha qomush chülükni kirgüzelemsen? Uning éngikini tömür neyze bilen téshelemsen?
Dost thou put a reed in his nose? And with a thorn pierce his jaw?
3 U sanga arqa-arqidin iltija qilamdu? Yaki sanga yawashliq bilen söz qilamdu?
Doth he multiply unto thee supplications? Doth he speak unto thee tender things?
4 U sen bilen ehde tüzüp, Shuning bilen sen uni menggü malay süpitide qobul qilalamsen?
Doth he make a covenant with thee? Dost thou take him for a servant age-during?
5 Sen uni qushqachni oynatqandek oynitamsen? Dédekliringning huzuri üchün uni baghlap qoyamsen?
Dost thou play with him as a bird? And dost thou bind him for thy damsels?
6 Tijaretchiler uning üstide sodilishamdu? Uni sodigerlerge bölüshtürüp béremdu?
(Feast upon him do companions, They divide him among the merchants!)
7 Sen uning pütkül térisige atarneyzini sanjiyalamsen? Uning béshigha changgak bilen sanjiyalamsen?!
Dost thou fill with barbed irons his skin? And with fish-spears his head?
8 Qolungni uninggha birla tegküzgendin kéyin, Bu jengni eslep ikkinchi undaq qilghuchi bolmaysen!
Place on him thy hand, Remember the battle — do not add!
9 Mana, «[uni boysundurimen]» dégen herqandaq ümid bihudiliktur; Hetta uni bir körüpla, ümidsizlinip yerge qarap qalidu emesmu?
Lo, the hope of him is found a liar, Also at his appearance is not one cast down?
10 Uning jénigha tégishke pétinalaydighan héchkim yoqtur; Undaqta Méning aldimda turmaqchi bolghan kimdur?
None so fierce that he doth awake him, And who [is] he before Me stationeth himself?
11 Asman astidiki hemme nerse Méning tursa, Méning aldimgha kim kélip «manga tégishlikini bergine» dep baqqan iken, Men uninggha qayturushqa tégishlikmu?
Who hath brought before Me and I repay? Under the whole heavens it [is] mine.
12 [Léwiatanning] ezaliri, Uning zor küchi, Uning tüzülüshining güzelliki toghruluq, Men süküt qilip turalmaymen.
I do not keep silent concerning his parts, And the matter of might, And the grace of his arrangement.
13 Kim uning sawutluq tonini salduruwételisun? Kim uning qosh éngiki ichige kiriwalalisun?
Who hath uncovered the face of his clothing? Within his double bridle who doth enter?
14 Kim uning yüz derwazilirini achalalisun? Uning chishliri etrapida wehime yatidu.
The doors of his face who hath opened? Round about his teeth [are] terrible.
15 Qasiraqlirining sepliri uning pexridur, Ular bir-birige ching chaplashturulghanki,
A pride — strong ones of shields, Shut up — a close seal.
16 Bir-birige shamal kirmes yéqin turidu.
One unto another they draw nigh, And air doth not enter between them.
17 Ularning herbiri öz hemrahlirigha chaplashqandur; Bir-birige zich yépishturulghan, héch ayrilmastur.
One unto another they adhere, They stick together and are not separated.
18 Uning chüshkürüshliridin nur chaqnaydu, Uning közliri seherdiki qapaqtektur.
His sneezings cause light to shine, And his eyes [are] as the eyelids of the dawn.
19 Uning aghzidin otlar chiqip turidu; Ot uchqunliri sekrep chiqidu.
Out of his mouth do flames go, sparks of fire escape.
20 Qomush gülxan’gha qoyghan qaynawatqan qazandin chiqqan hordek, Uning burun töshükidin tütün chiqip turidu;
Out of his nostrils goeth forth smoke, As a blown pot and reeds.
21 Uning nepisi kömürlerni tutashturidu, Uning aghzidin bir yalqun chiqidu.
His breath setteth coals on fire, And a flame from his mouth goeth forth.
22 Boynida zor küch yatidu, Wehime uning aldida sekriship oynaydu.
In his neck lodge doth strength, And before him doth grief exult.
23 Uning etliri qat-qat birleshtürülüp ching turidu; Üstidiki [qasiraqliri] yépishturulup, midirlimay turidu.
The flakes of his flesh have adhered — Firm upon him — it is not moved.
24 Uning yüriki beeyni tashtek mustehkem turidu, Hetta tügmenning asti téshidek mezmut turidu.
His heart [is] firm as a stone, Yea, firm as the lower piece.
25 U ornidin qozghalsa, palwanlarmu qorqup qalidu; Uning tolghinip shawqunlishidin alaqzade bolup kétidu.
From his rising are the mighty afraid, From breakings they keep themselves free.
26 Birsi qilichni uninggha tegküzsimu, héch ünümi yoq; Neyze, atarneyze we yaki changgaq bolsimu beribir ünümsizdur.
The sword of his overtaker standeth not, Spear — dart — and lance.
27 U tömürni samandek, Misni por yaghachtek chaghlaydu.
He reckoneth iron as straw, brass as rotten wood.
28 Oqya bolsa uni qorqitip qachquzalmaydu; Salgha tashliri uning aldida paxalgha aylinidu.
The son of the bow doth not cause him to flee, Turned by him into stubble are stones of the sling.
29 Toqmaqlarmu paxaldek héchnéme hésablanmaydu; U neyze-sheshberning tenglinishige qarap külüp qoyidu.
As stubble have darts been reckoned, And he laugheth at the shaking of a javelin.
30 Uning asti qismi bolsa ötkür sapal parchiliridur; U lay üstige chong tirna bilen tatilighandek iz qalduridu.
Under him [are] sharp points of clay, He spreadeth gold on the mire.
31 U déngiz-okyanlarni qazandek qaynitiwétidu; U déngizni qazandiki melhemdek waraqshitidu;
He causeth to boil as a pot the deep, The sea he maketh as a pot of ointment.
32 U mangsa mangghan yoli parqiraydu; Adem [buzhghunlarni körüp] chongqur déngizni ap’aq chachliq boway dep oylap qalidu.
After him he causeth a path to shine, One thinketh the deep to be hoary.
33 Yer yüzide uning tengdishi yoqtur, U héch qorqmas yaritilghan.
There is not on the earth his like, That is made without terror.
34 U büyüklerning herqandiqigha [jür’et bilen] nezer sélip, qorqmaydu; U barliq meghrur haywanlarning padishahidur».
Every high thing he doth see, He [is] king over all sons of pride.
